And what's the most messed up was how in earlier seasons they all spoke on how they would be there to help each other, and how much they loveddd building relationships with each others kids...fast forward to 2020 and Robin is hiring a nanny when she has Meri, literally just last episode, almost coming to tears about missing those two youngest ones and lamenting how lonely she is! Like what is the point of sister wives if your just gonna hire a round the clock nanny? WHAT DOES THE NANNY DO? Good question Christine!! They don't reallllly need her, Queen Robin just wants to be pampered and spoiled by Cody while Cody is just thirsty to have a new young female around he can be the boss of and show off to. It feeds his ego to have multiple women under one roof caring for his brood...

He isn’t the one with the rules. Any husband would consider how the mother of this children feel and his wife thinks. He could have gone 2 weeks to each home going to Meri before Robyn since Robyn is the one worried. He could even self isolate another 2 weeks by his lonely self. Christine and Janelle’s households could get together during Meri’s rotation. Kody is a bad husband and father. Robyn is only parenting her kids and being a bad sister wife. Kody should be at Meri’s giving her her turn even if that means he is on the couch and if he doesn’t want to do that and put in time divorce already. He is mad at an emotional affair one of the women he slept with had when he stopped sleeping with her or even showing up since he decided she would not have more kids. The only ones sincere about polygamy are Janelle and Christine and their kids. Janelle’s kid who showed up for Ysabell. Gabe wondering why he as an adult can’t visit Christine his other mother. The proudest moment of any of them going public should have been that sentence from Gabe, anger was all Gabe got from Kody. He will not have any relationship with 12/13 of his original kids in 5 years.

Do you notice that Jenelle and Mary are the ones that have always brought in a fair amount of money, with their jobs. Kristine, gave her time of watching the children as all the children grew up. Robin does nothing. The Robin is the one he really wants to be with. So he is making Kristine incredibly expendable.

She said in one of her Instagram lives that She is the happiest she has ever been and she can not believe how easy life is not married. She is doing great! Kody's utter contempt for Christine has been evident since the beginning of this show. In past episodes when he talks about their "courtship" he seems to have a tense jaw. She gave him some version of polygamy "street cred" as a third wife and one with a distinct genealogy. Had Christine known her immense self-worth from the jump she wouldn't have hitched her wagon to this giant baby of a male. He acts increasingly low-value with every year that passes. I'm fairly certain that he will one day be the loneliest man with the largest human family.

But, when it’s regarding the children with all of the same needs…..it’s not right for the children of one wife to have all their needs & wants met & the other children don’t. Thank God Christine came to her senses and left! This whole family is a mess! I don’t know why any woman would want to share a husband. It’s hard enough to navigate a marriage when there’s only two people involved. In their case it’s extremely complicated because of all of the people involved. Can’t believe she didn’t leave him sooner. I can’t believe Meri hasn’t left yet either. He will not have a relationship with Meri and if I were her I would just leave. Meri absolutely has her own set of issues but I feel so bad for her re: infertility. Battling infertility is so damn hard but at least I had my husband going through it with me & we could lean on each other but she didn’t even have that! Instead she has to watch him have boatloads of kids with other women bc she may be infertile but he isn’t. On top of that, they come from a culture where so much emphasis is put on a woman’s worth = how many kids she can have. I don’t think any of the others have taken the time to understand her grief and understanding that a lot of her “neediness” (as they call it) is rooted in grief that I don’t think has been truly addressed. Again, it doesn’t excuse all of her problematic behavior, but the fact that K doesn’t see his role in all of this is infuriating.
What is so sad is he will spend thanksgiving with the only family that matters for him

The dynamic changed as soon as Robyn came in and then changed further when they moved from Vegas because he was more easily accessible then by his children and other wives. It would be more apparent then if he was staying at one house more because they all lived in a court together. I think Covid gave him an excuse to shack up with Robyn.
He is horrible with his dumb rules . Don’t he knows how many people get up every morning and go to work , to make money to support their family….or go to the grocery store to purchase food for their family . These are the things we do to make sure are family is doing okay. He can’t go visit his other family it makes no sense. I’m glad Christine stood her ground.

Cody should have been with his daughter when she had her surgery!! She was in so much pain and he wanted her to keep putting the surgery off. Her mama did the right thing. FOR HER CHILD!! Some may disagree. But that's a mother's opinion. As far as everything else, I have my opinions on that too, but I will keep my mouth shut on the way he is running or trying to run things. I don't understand why they didn't do what all other reality shows were doing at the height of the pandemic - rapid testing 1-2 times daily so cast/crew could film together! rapid tests for the whole family would cost a small fortune, but I feel like tlc would be forced to foot the bill if they filmed their family functions, which they do anyways!
I just feel like Robin and kids were being overvigilant for no reason, I mean ya we were all supposed to do, but once pandemic kept going on and on, we started seeing family. They have large immediate family, husband, wives and kids are not expected to quarantine from each other imo, regardless of how big they are...they would get a pass. And Robin and kids don't have any health compromised kids even! If anything Christine's daughter is the one compromised pre and post spine surgery.
I have heard that tlc is cheap, idk tho. That would make sense tho.

I think I figured it out. He doesn’t want to live as a polygamist around the nanny and her husband. Robin gives him the monogamous relationship he actually desires. He won’t let meri back in, he’s pushing Christine away, knowing she’s at her breaking point. And Janelle doesn’t cause waves between him and robin so he doesn’t even worry about it.
