I always wondered at the time if they hired Charlie Brooks because of her slight resemblance to Martine McCutcheon as they wanted to capitalise on Tiffs popularity with viewers.
Even now its so stupid.. in real life Janine would be on death row! She killed Barry, and about 3 others, thieved, lied, been inside more times than the entire city of London, schemed, blackmailed, arson, nearly killing Jack, grassing Stacey up.. given people heart attacks, fraud, deception, mentally crippling poor Pat, dragged of in police cars and sent down so many times! The last storyline has got stupid. For one of her crimes alone she would have done 10 years. I cannot believe they got rid of Mick for her. The original Janine was quite a sweet girl. It gets boring when they have a horrible character and keep giving them top storylines. Nick Cotton was another. I still expect him to pop up and say “ ello Ma”..😅
