I've been to Sao Paolo & very much enjoyed the Central Market. Yes, the huge mortadella sandwich is a must eat for us foodies! I was at the Barbacoa restaurant in Brasilia some years ago & enjoyed the evening! Yes, the picanha, lamb chops & the beef ribs are the stars but their salad plus bar & the other tastiest like the morcilla are wonderful! I believe I paid about R$5,200 for the Rodizia Completa, about US$110 at that time! Well worth it! Brazilian bbq in USA is not even close!

I could tell it would be dry and refused it when they offered it, instead preferring to save my tummy for the better cuts like Picanha or the pork belly. BTW, that lamb is slightly overcooked. Lamb really needs to be rare to medium rare for it to work. That looked medium to me and looked just like the lamb I was served, which was good but slightly on the disappointing side.

If you visit Rio this time, go to Churrascaria Palace, hands down the best churrasco steakhouse in the country, if you know how to order. Many cuts normally doesn't come to your table unless you specifically order them as they are not well known from the public, but they're all extremely delicious. They also have sea food as the tambaqui ribs, an amazonian fish so large that you eat the ribs as a pork or lamb rib. And contact me if you do go there, as a local I've got tons of places to go tipically carioca, meaning truly from Rio, as just a real local can go.
    Good video anyway.
