Many Brazilians watch your channel, it is very satisfying to see your videos around the world, thank you for the trip to Brazil! congratulations on the content
If you're staying in SP until September, you should go to the CEAGESP Festival, it's an amazing seafood festival that only happens during Spring-Summer. Their most famous dish is the Paella.
That's good to know .
I can't believe you're in Brazil, I've been following you for years and I would never have thought you'd come to Brazil, I hope you like our cuisine
Your food looks amazing I'd love to have access to that kind of fruit variety alone man.
Love Brazilian bbq. Pampas in miracle mile mall in Vegas was excellent. Fogo in San Diego is pretty amazing as well. Rei de Gado in San Diego is my favorite. Best lamb I've ever had.
Seja bem vindo ao Brasil! Aproveite tudo o que temos para oferecer. 👍
Já que você está em São Paulo, experimente o sanduíche Bauru do Ponto Chic. É um sanduíche tradicional da cidade, representou o Brasil em uma competição internacional
Delicious I have to try the Brazilian bbq❤️❤️❤️
Have you? Nine months have passed
I’m so happy to see one of your videos come across my feed. I dunno why I’m not getting notifications, I gotta catch up now 💛
Still amazed how much food you can pack away m8. I'm a big dude an u could eat me under the table. Really enjoy ur adventures
Very happy you are here in Brazil, have a nice trip
This is the perfect sequel to his new York Brazilian BBQ experience!!
i"m so hungryyyyyy! The buffet looks great but what i wanna eat most is the sandwich from the market!
OMG I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU ARE FINALLY IN BRAZIL! Welcome to SP! If you have time plss go to Jojo Ramen and order the Karamisso! You are not going to be disappointed😊
That sandwhich….no words. 🤤
É nadaaaa o Mike em SP... Welcome to Brazil !!!!
omg!i was waiting for this day for so many years lol welcome to Brazil Mike
😅😂😊
He's been there many times.
Nice in the more exotic (relatively speaking) food than usual.
Only open 3 hours means expensive AF
It definitely is. At least for the majority of Brazilians.
The Brazilian barbeque made my mouth water❤
Hey man! Wonderfull to see you in my hometown! I hope you enjoy the food here! São Paulo has everything you can hope for, not only traditional Brazilian food, but also food from different countries around the world. I really recommend you try our Italian and Asian restaurants as well!
Welcome to SP, Brazil 🇧🇷
I've been to Sao Paolo & very much enjoyed the Central Market. Yes, the huge mortadella sandwich is a must eat for us foodies! I was at the Barbacoa restaurant in Brasilia some years ago & enjoyed the evening! Yes, the picanha, lamb chops & the beef ribs are the stars but their salad plus bar & the other tastiest like the morcilla are wonderful! I believe I paid about R$5,200 for the Rodizia Completa, about US$110 at that time! Well worth it! Brazilian bbq in USA is not even close!
bruh if you paid 5.200 reais for a rodizio in brasilia, my hometown, you got really robbed for a gringo
@@LtMiKe10 he meant R$520,00.
@@OA00000 Still robbed.
Your right, for 4 people including food, drinks & tip it was about R$520, my error. I did enjoy several other restaurants in Brasilia. Mangas, Coco Bambu & Feitiço des Artes were good , if I remember correctly & not very expensive.
It appears in the video this guy ate a whole sandwich, And then went to the aa you can eat. Meat ! No way I would eat anything the entire day. But I guess some can handle being a little hungry for a while.
I would love to say thank you Mikey for sharing your amazing foods around the world how lucky we are to see to experience the luxury food you show us so wish we had the food you show here in new Zealand thanks again for sharing you definitely mine and my husbands choice for food you show us all
Welcome to Brazil 🇧🇷
I've only had Brazilian BBQ in New York! Got to try it in the actual country sometime. Great vid Mike!
Parabens pelo video sejam bem vindos todos aqui no Brasil🌅🇧🇷🌅🇧🇷
Those grapes look like what we pick here in the South. They are called Muscadines and people makes a sweet wine out of them too.
It's very different from grapes, actually... it has very big seeds, and usually you don't eta the skin. It's called Jabuticaba here in Brazil.
São bem diferentes de uma uva.
Já que a jabuticaba nasce no tronco da árvore, e não em suas folhas. E ela nasce unitária e não em cachos.
Bulls eyes!! This is really some of the best of Brasil for sure! 👏👏👏🇧🇷
Yeaahhhh hometownnnn!!!!! ❤❤❤❤
This video made me so hungry
Looking goooood👍👍👍
Brazil❤❤❤
Did a double take when he said Fogo De Chao because I have one in my city. Went several time and it was really good, would explain why. I remember my first time to one in LA and it was so meh. But every time I went to Fogo De Chao here it was great.
Kkķkkk fogo de chao parece Chinês. Kkķkkk FOGO de Chão.
Usem o acento por favor

Amazing Brazilian BBQ ! I love the fruits Mikey ! Busy traveler ! thank you for sharing your journey ! Awesome vlogs !!!
you summoned us !!
20:35 that is Apple mango here in the Philippines that distinct red spot of it means it is so ripe it doesn't taste medicine like cough syrup but that have red almost half of it is good to enjoy with its sweetness
You have to go to a Rodízio de Pizza in São Paulo !!!!
Mike I was so jealous but sadly the one meat that I absolutely know you would love is cupim or beef hump! I can't believe you didn't get any, that they didn't offer it. It's even better than picahna. Please make sure you find and have some before you leave, have a great time. Julie from Wisconsin
actually, the one he called a roast is cupim. It wasn't one of the fattier ones, but certainly quite tender.
I have to say, thank you for your quality foodie vlog mukbang reviews. You have a way with words that's really fun to follow, and your enjoyment of the foods makes for ringside seating at some really interesting places and eateries. God bless you today.
love your videos and so happy to see you are around in my city trying some of our good food! hope you have lots of fun in your stay!
I'm Brazilian and know some countries around the world, however there are not in the world city like São Paulo to eat some different kind of option, quality, quantity and prices... São Paulo is like a Ocean food for some many options.
You were probably one of the first youtubers i watched. That was around 10 years ago, back then you made another type of content (about mystical stories I think) I loved it, but I'm happy for you that your content switch back then worked out so great for you :D
Now that food looked delicious ❤❤
Welcome to Brazil!!! Recommend you to try all the food from all the regions!!! In Paraná it's pinhão season, it's a traditional snack from the araucária trees! There's also barreado, meat stew cooked for hours that makes anyone smile!!!
And make room for desserts and coffee, we love to eat/drink after lunch!!!
So happy to see you here!!!!!!!
I was hoping for more on the fruits and vegetables of Brazil. They have so much stuff that we have never seen before.
fruits and vegetables? on a mike chen video?
That's not his thing lol check out Weird Explorer for the fruit and veggy side of things.
The guy has never eaten a mango. They don't eat fruit it's all rice and leafy vegetables mainly.
No way you came here!
Glad you had an awesome experience :D
Excellent
Likeeeeee from Brazil 👍 🇧🇷
So glad you made it to Brazil! One of my favorite countries! I love the food there! If you’re still there make sure you eat fijoada and moqueca! If you’re already back I hope you got to try them. I’m actually flying to São Paulo tomorrow night. I’ll be eating fijoada on Wednesday afternoon!!
this brings me childhood memories. Mortadella sandwiches with the baguete roll in brasil are second to none
Those grapes remind me of muscadine grapes 😍
Não são uvas, são jabuticabas. Ela a nascem no tronco da árvore e não nas folhas.
The fruit is called Jabuticaba, is not a grape. It is a Barry. This fruit is native from Brazil, like blackberries are from US
Finally the day has come! I was waiting for this :) It's a pitty we can't meet in person, cuz I'm a big fan from Brazil.
I respect that you called out the roast for being dry. I could tell it would be dry and refused it when they offered it, instead preferring to save my tummy for the better cuts like Picanha or the pork belly. BTW, that lamb is slightly overcooked. Lamb really needs to be rare to medium rare for it to work. That looked medium to me and looked just like the lamb I was served, which was good but slightly on the disappointing side.
Barbecue and fruit in Brazil. Heck yeah! 😁
10:57 Mikey discovers the juiciest lamb he's ever tasted
Woooow you was here
You should meet @Gaba
Just watched best ever food reviews. And here I am . You got my attention. Good stuff 👍
Go to Minas Gerais! Food there is awesome! : )
This is what every person I met in Sao Paulo says.
SP is amazing, it´s like NYC but MG has more regional food.
I need to know how to do deep fried mashed potatoes.
When I was in college I could out eat any of my guy friends in Brazilian BBQ. Unfortunately, I can’t do that anymore.
Nice video😊👍 But as a Brazilian musician, I really do not understand why people making videos about Brazil puts those such STRANGE "music" that is COMPLETELY non-brazilian on the back 😅😅 👍 Sounds like a bad-computer-salsa... We do NOT play salsa in Brazil😅😅 PS: You missed many important cuts ( at least for brazilians😋), like Boar, garlic filet- mignon, pork with cheese etc...😌👍
I haven't had any fun lately, 😭 so it was fun. You bring me joy!❤🙂
Welcome to Brazil! I've been watching your videos for the asian food and it's so funny to see my brazilian food here 😂
Oh geesh all looks awesome !
Great video!!! You should try the CEAGESP buffet for dinner!!!
Are you coming to rio grande do sul?
I’m glad to see you enjoying Brasil! I hope you come back again!
Isso é Brasil 💪
You are finally here!!! I'm so glad!! I hope you enjoy visiting my home home country!
If there's any room in your schedule, please try a place called Mugui. It's located in the Liberdade neighborhood, a place that has everything asian. I've been going to this place for almost 20 years. And they are amazing!!
Just love your in depth honest food descriptions & personal anecdotes; along with clearly researched, knowledgeable tidbits & historical facts about whatever region you're visiting & experiencing 😊
Is it anything about the US you like, Mike?
My nonna says thats not mortadella and her ancestors are turrning in their grave.
Mike, i noticed that many youtubers comes to São Paulo they miss the official dish of the city called Virado a Paulista. This dish has some similarities with the Red Beans and Rice from New Orleans, like usually served on mondays and some ingredients like rice, beans and pork.
OMG HE'S FINALLY IN BRAZIL!!!!! I'M SO HAPPY WELCOME TO BRAZIL MIKE
My main man Mike, welcome to Brazil meu mano !!
Se reparar no buffet da churrascaria é o melhor lugar para um vegano ou vegetariano devorar o que desejar😂
Mike, while you are at São Paulo please go eat some Ramen at Tamashii, it is a amazing bowl and I would love to see your opinion!
How does he know where to go next?
Experimenta Fruta mangostim.
You gotta go to Uruguay and Argentina after Brazil the food culture there is awesome
I can't believe you actually is (was?) in Brazil! If you are still there, you must try the giant gyozas that are sold in the Sunday market at Liberdade! They are amazing!
You finally came to Brasil!!!
Mortadela sandwich is overrated in my opinion... Definitely try the Bauru sandwich, which is made with roast beef, pickles, 3 types of cheese melted into one and tomato in a bread
Anything that is close to a mangosteen is a big yes in my book!!!
In Brazil?? Whaaat!! Yaaay!
if mikey ended up in a groundhog day situation im pretty sure its going to be a day he'll love because it most likely involves eating food all day
Cupim❤
Costela❤❤
Picanha❤❤❤
Man you drove like five hours for that boloney mustard sandwich in Texas and now you flew 10+ hours for another one. Congrats :P
whatttttt, ayo welcome to Brasil my guy!!!
I'm so happy that you came from Brazil, i'm being waiting so long for this video. Thank You Mike for being in here
i am confused. I heard that cocoa seeds doesn't taste like chocolate unless you ferment them and roast them. I had just dry cocoa seeds, not chocolately at all. Anyone can corfirm?
I have heard the same. But I think they are talking on something closer to chocolate. I tryed bits of the seed and it is really bitter. Maybe closer to cofe than chocolate. But you can still taste some of the chocolate flavor, if that makes sense.
@@Indie-A-tom Thanks, I've had just raw dry seeds and it wasn't best quality either, so for me it was slightly bittersweet nut. Mot bad, but not chocotale flavor at all.
@@Saeyka Thank you, yes! This is the same for coffee, which I am more familiar with. Fermentation, roasting and resting is the whole magic. 🙂
Brazilian food is delicious 😋 you have to try MOCOTO ❤👌it’s a cow feet soup sometimes it’s with bone marrow omg yummy yummy so soft tender
somehow out of all these comments from Brazil and no one mentions that unroasted cacao beans are highly toxic
bc you don't eat the beans, just the pulp around
Really cool that you finally came to Brazil!
Hope you like it! Sao Paulo is great, but the country is very big! Are you going to other regions?
Dude how much the buffet cost?
$20.
Welcome to São Paulo and enjoy our food
oh my gosh that rare Picanha was so tender his fork could pick it up because it was sliding through the separate muscles :O Those look like the most flavorful steaks I've ever seen on this channel!
You ate basically everywhere now. Congrats
If you visit Rio this time, go to Churrascaria Palace, hands down the best churrasco steakhouse in the country, if you know how to order. Many cuts normally doesn't come to your table unless you specifically order them as they are not well known from the public, but they're all extremely delicious. They also have sea food as the tambaqui ribs, an amazonian fish so large that you eat the ribs as a pork or lamb rib. And contact me if you do go there, as a local I've got tons of places to go tipically carioca, meaning truly from Rio, as just a real local can go.
Good video anyway.
Next time should try pork shoulder sandwich @ Estadão another hot pot in downtown São Paulo, is awesome.
Damn really wanna go to brazil now
