I've played a lot of Overwatch with my GF a couple of years ago, and let's just say that we never used in-game voice chat for a reason.
People in multiplayer games have a tendency to either be extremely hostile or sexually inappropriate when a girl talks in chat.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they perfectly captured the (at least) three types of reactions:
Engineer - The Creepy One that immediately starts hitting on the girl.
Noob - The Misogynistic One that tells her to get lost because "Gaming is for men only."
Medic - The Impartial One who doesn't really care and just wants to move on.
Also, best part is how 2/3 of them peace out once they find out that she's _WAY_ more hardcore than any of them. Though, she probably also had some frustrations to air out after dealing with Engineer and Noob...

Dont at me with sexism cuz i actually met pretty much a lot of girls, mostly on dead by daylight. And my god they SUCKED HAAAAAAAARD. in fps games ive met some that were kinda below average but goddamn on dbd i would meet like 1 girl every 2 to 3 matches and they were abysmal.
Hell, i even got my girl radar on point for a while and found 5 girls in disguise with random names.
Id just say "you a girl, right?" And they go "yes, why? How did you know?".
It was way more of a curse than a blessing. I just kept finding girls in my survivors team dojng jackshit to help. They mostly were getting carried and let escape cuz they were girls. Wow.
