@@isidorachicurel even better is I saw it after dark, with portraits behind me. I was actually scared to turn around for a moment. Fear is such an interesting trait, it makes you aware of threats that don't even exist.

The "Where's John?" story is based on the creepypasta "Portraits" in that story the protagonist decides to sleep in an abandoned shack that has creepy portraits of people with deformed faces but when he wakes up he finds that what he thought were portraits were in reality windows and the creepypasta ends after he discovered the windows.

One thing I can't understand that in the ending of John and Alice, John was in the jungle where no gps and all are working how did his internet was working there, and even though he was verrrrry brave but still why did he think that those pictures are cool? The canvases of the “portraits” were black. The victims of the house, or whatever lived there(not sure exactly-reminds me of the black eyed children legend) were killed and placed there in a sort of trophy like way. The canvases were black when John woke up in the morning. This leads me to assume that the victims of the past collect new ones. Also if you pay close attention to the eyes, you notice that they are black as well. This leads to believe that either the eyes turned black(or the pupils of the eyes expanded) maybe due to extreme darkness(aka the canvas) or the eyes were taken out so that only the canvas can be seen. It’s a pretty cool concept, and it would be fun to see continued or explained. If you have any other theories or agree with mine, let me know!!
