Love, Love, Love, Love... Best thing ever is just a relaxing cup of coffee or tea, sitting in the woods absolutely silent and enjoying said cup in absolute silence... PRICELESS. I never looked at the mess tin much, but seeing your kit makes me think I need to look closer!
Hi thanks for watching, I totally agree can’t beat a good cup of tea in total silence 😊. Yes I didn’t think much of the mess tin at first, but when I found you can get all the accessories for it I found it to be the best investment and makes the best brew kit. I’ve also found they do a large version with all the accessories 😳, that I might have to invest in.
@@MSIOutdoors Daiso of Japan makes a small (500ml) version as well, they too have a plethora of accessories for it. I like that it nests in the 800ml tin and that nests in the large tin.
My trangia spirit burning stove and non stick pans is the best thing ive ever bought 18 years on and its still doing exactly what its supposed to do,even the pans are still non stick

I have used that stove for a few years now and love it. I use home made fire starters starters instead of tablets , and have even used wood pellets. very light and handy.

@@MSIOutdoors Man, I keep re-watching this video, love it. I've found my own Trangia small mess tin on the marketplace a couples of weeks back! I'm leaning towards the roll top cover as well. I see you're able to stuff the Triangle into the small cover as well with the mess tin included. Do you think there will be enough space for the normal Trangia Spirit Burner to carry in the roll top instead of the Gel burner? I also read on the internet that the new Triangle can be stored in the mess tin? Anyway, long question, haha. But I'm thinking I maybe should go for the roll top of the larger mess tin. @@tonnynijholt7090 hi, thanks for watching again 😊. I’m 95% certain that the alcohol burner fits in the roll top bag with the tin and triangle. But I will double check when I get home from work and let you know for sure. Thanks again for watching. I’ve also been looking into getting the same setup but in the large, but we can’t get it here in the UK and shipping is crazy expensive. @@MSIOutdoors Thanks in advance! Oh really, I thought Trangia is quite big in the UK. Brexit s*cks for the shipping etc. I recently ordered something from the UK. It took 6 weeks for it to arrive. Had to pay taxes, duties and fees before they even shipped it out. Will let you know if I ever have experience with the large mess tin. It seems ''large'' though in videos!
@@tonnynijholt7090 Hi, I can confirm that the alcohol burner fits fine in the canvas bag along with the triangle and mess tin. We can get the basic trangia, 25 & 27 along with the extra for these, but things like the mess tin accessories I had to get shipped from Trangia SE.

Oh, I have the almost exact same kit and use either this or the new Micro when I just want to boil water for tea or coffee. Takes virtually no space and is silent (when compared to my gas stoves). Really handy!

A very good & compact set up. I use hexamine solid fuel tablets in the Trangia gel burner but use a UST Pack It Stove. Thank you for sharing.👍
Thanks for watching. I have been thinking about using the hexamine as the Fire dragon turns to a liquid, once it’s burned down it become a solid again, sometimes making it difficult to get out.
@MSIOutdoors Have not been able to get the fire dragon fuel here in Australia for a while now, but can buy the bcb stove for it.

No I don’t think it does.
Says on the website it does but doesn't clarify if its the bigger or smaller mess tin

Perfect kit , but i think the spoon is a weak point
Thanks for watching. I can see you point, and did think of that at the time. I wanted an actual spoon where it didn’t have a folk end and folded smallish. And turned out to be pretty good.
Too much prep ,I'll stick with my Coleman cook set so much simpler
