Just got my Slim! Love it! I work in the sewers it’s a great little light. But not for looking up pipe. But a great light if your a flashlight 🔦 collector. Great video
We bought this on whim during a camping trip. The hook was great for inside the tent, and you can clip it onto your pants and walk around hands free. Still use head lamps, but this came in so handy, it comes on every trip now. We lost the packaging, so thanks so much for the review and showing the dim feature again, lol!
I just found one of these in the mud at a junk yard and it has taken a bit of a beating but it still work's great so go I ordered one on amazon for the house and I will use this one for mechanic work.
Wish it also had a magnet in the clip area, for lighting up a pickup truck bed, sticking to the side of a van, or on a refrigerator to light up a room. An AA battery option would be cool too. Great review! Thanks!
James, I think your content could have more depth and popularity if you also disassembled the products. This is the first and only video of yours that I've come across, but I assume your other vids don't include disassembly. Do you watch AvE's channel? It's part of what he does, but by taking products apart it offers insight to the build quality and reveals possible shortcomings/weaknesses. I found your video searching how to take my light apart without breaking it. Nutnfancy also has some flashlight reviews to model after. Not saying mimic them or quit being yourself; I'm saying take what you like, improve upon (or omit) what you don't like, and perhaps add in areas where you see they've missed. Flashlight performance in particular isn't the easiest to describe through video (nothing compares to seeing in person). If there was a channel like yours that could express successfully, then it would be useful to many. Other aspects need testing too like battery life, beam reach, abuse testing, weather extremes, etc. Manufacturers usually overrate their products.
Thank you for the review. I have a newer NEBO slim, which has a magnet embedded into the belt clip. So, it has two magnets. The reason I am writing is my NEBO slim does not have a "lock out" mode. If I press and hold the power button for 5 (or 10, or 15) seconds, the flashlight does not flash or do anything, and there is no lock out. I was wondering if anyone else has this issue. Thank you.
Neither does my brother or mine.. We have the ones that's actually have a magnet on the clip. I have removed the clip from mine and cut out the interior underneath the battery to put eight neodymium magnets inside the case so it still sticks with the back and it hold very tight. Not sure why we don't have lockout but I'm going to talk to the company about it.
This light seems great until you find out that the reported battery life is literally 10% of what it claims to be. 10 hours on lowest power? You're honestly lucky to get 1 hour. DO NOT TRUST THIS LIGHT. If you use it, you better bring a backup, because it WILL fail you.
I really like NEBO products, I have their Redline Blast flashlight, runs a long time on 6 AA batteries, I did get Eneloop batteries for it so all I have to do is charge them up, but with the rechargeable NiMh's it's not quite as bright as it is with the Alkalines but at 1400 lumens I really don't need that much power anyways! LOL!! I think the lumens with the rechargeable drop about 200 lumens but I have to way to measure it for sure. Saw this review now I a decision to make, either this Slim model or the Armor3 model you also did a review on. The Armor3 is supposedly virtually indestructible, so much so they guarantee it even for accidental breakage for LIFE! but for some reason manufacture defects are only a year. This is an amazing video on the Armor3: czcams.com/video/SEv4_X9V65o/video.html Anyway I have to see the Armor3 in person to get a better idea of its size to see if it will be too bulky to carry while backpacking, but with the Armor3 if the bats go dead I can buy AAA bats at any store, but I might not be able to find a place to recharge the Slim...decisions decisions decisions. So a great review even though it was a tad long, I think you could have done both reviews in about 5 to 6 minutes each instead of 10 minutes, good information but just too much dead time that wasn't necessary.
Just bought it from amazon because of a welding instructor that has it. Very good light.

Nice review. I purchased one with your recommendation in mind.

How do I get it from flashing? Light won't stay on
Can the clip be removed?
Can it handle a good rain?🙄
I just bought a lamp and I put it on charge for the time they told me but it doesn't turn on, does anyone know why?
You have a rather soothing voice
Have you ever thought about doing something like let’s read or reading stories that are submitted by people
Is that a metal body?
Their is a newer one that has a magnet
