MDJ I have PCOS and I donât have regular cycles. Iâll go 6-8 months between cycles. I was told I couldnât get pregnant. I was almost 5 months when i realized I was pregnant. I can see how some of these women miss the entire pregnancy. Thank you for being here and speaking on these videos. You make the entire show worth it! â€
A LOT of people that have PCOS (and several other conditions as well) seem to have this same story of doctors, either directly or indirectly, telling them they can't/won't get pregnant. It's really crazy to me. The chances might be lower, sure, but it's not impossible; they shouldn't be telling people that. I was told it might be hard for me to get pregnant, if I even could at all (when I was 11, and I was so upset) because my right ovary was "nicked" in a surgery, they cut it to some degree. I've been pregnant twice now (lost my first, but still, we have our daughter, and it wasn't *that* hard, it took a little while, but not longer than a year.) So, they shouldn't be giving people the idea that "you might not/will not be able to get pregnant."
My husband's grandmother was a nurse who had 4 babies, she and her doctors didn't know she was pregnant with her 5th until she was 7 months pregnant. It could happen to anyone.
@@zzevonplant I think it's more that they are told they are infertile and they think infertile means they won't be able to get pregnant. At least that is my experience with PCOS, I am infertile right now. I have had 5+ losses while being infertile.
I was diagnosed with pcos at 11 years old. I was very overweight & Nobody believed the pain I was in ...until one day during PE I started screaming crying in pain a throwing up. They rushed me to ER and after over a week in the hospital they decided to do a discovery surgery... right before I was taken back for surgery.. I was on pain meds at this time morphine & I was pushing the button but suddenly it stopped helping and I felt the worst pain I've ever felt and started crying screaming begging for someone to help me take the pain away... the nurses were terrified and didn't know what else to do so off to surgery I went and they put me to sleep and laid me down flat.. they saw the outline of 2 giant lumps.... turned out I had 2 volleyball sized ovarian cysts and the pain I felt during PE was torsion and the pain on morphine was the ovary becoming necrotic... I literally felt my ovary die. So they removed the dead left ovary...
Then after years of Birthcontrol to treat pcos I got pregnant at 15 had a miscarriage & at 19 live birth boy vaginally & live birth girl vaginally at 21& now surprise at 29 I'm 14 weeks pregnant with another girl!!!
I've realized I get pregnant when I take the pill irregularly and try to go on walks at least 4 days a week about 30mins each.
On the years between my 2 girls I wasn't on the pill and could not get pregnant... I don't exactly get it .. but that's what happened.

And yeah, I think you're probably right, that is often what I think doctors say to people with PCOS.

I LOVE when other women comment on chubby babies. My husband was offended for my nieces when I made a comment about their chunky little thighs. Then his Mom said "LOOK AT THESE CHUNKY THIGHS!" when holding one of them and he realized that we are NOT fat shaming babies and toddlers - we're enjoying their chubby stage. I wouldn't say that about them now (they are 9 [twins] and 7). Babies are SUPPOSED TO BE chunky! I just had to share that. LOL :D
A baby's whole job is to be chubby and grow
Babies grow so fast that they need that chub for growth fuel! Plus babies lose weight initially as they have to do everything on their own and not via mums help via the umbilical chord. So you want a nice chunky, squishy baby initially (within reason, those 10 pounds plus babies are not great for easy deliveries!)
My babies have always been on the skinny side, and I envy all of y'all with those chunky baby thighs

My sister worked as a nurse in a pediatric GI clinic. She told me that a chubby baby is a good baby, she saw so many malnourished babies at her time in the clinic because people didn't want their baby "getting fat".

I have IBS and sometimes things go really wrong and I get one of those bowel movements that need an extra push, just imagining having that moment of relief interrupted by "why is my poop splashing around in the toilet? đ" had me dead on the floor đ
YESS i have IBS as well and I was like "uh uh, yes, we all know the one" before she reacted and said like "RIP your bowel if you have that" hahaha
I don't have IBS, but I do have dyspepsia. Which can cause my bowel movements to be unpredictable. There have been times I've been in so much pain, my stomach hurting like crazy. Goes to the bathroom. Gets stuck for 10-15 minutes. And I've had some really horrible periods cramps.
LOL same I have IBS as well and have had severe constipation that required an ER visit.
I donât have IBS but Iâve taken meds before that have a side effect of horrible constipation.
Iâve even been known to whine to my husband âI feel like Iâm giving birth out the wrong place!â
Itâs awful, but the issue I had that the meds were treating was worse so I was stuck.
I have IBS and I gave birth to a 9lb baby. I've had IBS that hurt worse than labour.
My MIL decided for my husband, who was not her first rodeo, she would simply keep the pregnancy to herself. Then at some type of family house party, of all times, she went into labor and quietly slipped away to have her baby in the bedroom and then surprised everyone there with a baby. Not recommending, just sharing lol.

I had a friend that did almost the same thing 20 years ago.
Only her and her husband knew she was pregnant with her 3rd until after she had her daughter at home.
I donât know how she was born, but my aunt kept her youngest kid a secret from the whole family ⊠no one found out until they went to visit & they had an extra 6month old đ
I get why they all reacted like that. If you're not expecting a baby it's like having an alien come out of you. It must be insane to look down and there's a WHOLE ASS LIFE in the toilet when you were expecting poop.

As someone who has had to be rushed to the doctor for an extreme bowel movement (forceps and then stitches were involved), I can say that the pain can be incredibly intense. At the worst of it, when I was 12, I looked at my mom and asked if this is what it felt like to have a baby. She stopped, knelt in front of me and got really serious. With full sincerity, she said, âNo, that is so much worse.â
Meaning the bowel movement was worse?
Every time MDJ releases one of these videos, my inner monolog says, "you do the best with the info you have at the time"
This mantra is not only for unknown pregnancies, it applies to life, period.
The number of times I have used this with people in other life events since I started watching these!

It always freaks me out that I have met not one but THREE people who had an I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant story. This feels abnormally high seeing as so many people have never even met one. All three were coworkers at three different jobs. Two found out in labour one at 7.5months but delivered a bit early.
It really feels so crazy to know people who had this happen to them. My coworker recently gave birth to a full term baby not having known she was pregnant. She went to the hospital for stomach pain and they told her she's having a baby, within 1 hour the baby was born. The father is also a coworker, they met at the job and we're all good friends. The whole pregnancy she was working in the laboratory but the baby is healthy!

I was in a relationship with someone once that told me one day that his niece had just had a baby and she didn't know she was pregnant
I donât know them personally my husbandâs half brotherâs dad has a couple drug addicts living in his house he canât get rid of. Last summer she gave birth without knowing she was pregnant. Thankfully the baby was fine. I think the baby lives with one of the grandparents
I'm also baffled about how many people have unplanned pregnancies. It's actually refreshing to hear from people who've actually planned getting pregnant.
I know someone who didn't find out until they were 38 weeks pregnant. They had only 2 weeks to get all the baby gear.
My husband and I have used condoms exclusively for 20 years and despite being super fertile (pregnant first month trying 4x), we've never had an oops. It seems super plausible to me that "typical use" includes accidental breakage, etc., but I also have met several people who called getting pregnant the one time they chose not to use a condom a "condom failure." Yeah, that wasn't the condom. That was you.
I think she's explained before that typical usage people don't use it all the time every time. People should because obviously not going to work if you don't use it correctly

Choosing not to use it once is one thing, but there's more. I had some idiot partners who wanted to 'stick it in for a moment to see how it feels' and I was like, WHAT THE FFFFFFFFFUUU did you just ask me?!?!... There are people in the world who think that pulling out ia genuine method of preventing pregnancy, so I guess 5 seconds inside is even less umm, interaction.. I also had partners, where we discussed how protection's gonna work and what are my expectations - and condom use was agreed (=demanded from my end), but then my partner proceeded to dangle his bits 2mm from my vag. As soon as I protested and told him off, he was like "but we're not having sex yet" and I was like, your dangly bit is all wet and excited, I ain't having that. In some cases, my partner complied, but one of them thought I was being "silly" in my "imaginary worries", so well, we only slept together once and I fobbed him off.
Both types of folks, the 'a bit inside' and the ones who dangerously danglied their exited bits were not isolated cases, which led me to realise that my understanding of reproductive system is above average (and that was 20 years ago). If this type of person would partner up with a similarly minded person, I can easily see 12% condom failure rate.
Also a note, everyone has every right to speak out, especially in a negative context - if you feel insecure, pressured or uncomfortable, tell your partners off there and then. If they don't respect your words and the discussion goes nowhere, move on.
@Marta M you explained it perfectly. Too many people just wanna take the condom off for a little bit and that's how they get accidentally pregnant. Also too many guys think they can pull out then when they're done ejaculating put themselves back in before they get soft like they don't have residue still on them and all I it takes is one sperm that manages to survive to get you pregnant. That's why I can also believe the 12% failure rate. Getting a copper iud was the best thing I've done for myself. Get the 99% protection but zero hormones. I just wish the FDA would approve of the European brands because they have different sized non hormone iuds that would make the one brand we have here obsolete.

My mom was around 5 or 6 months pregnant before she realized she was pregnant with my youngest brother. She thought she wasn't having her period cuz she was going through menopause (she was mid to late forties). Realized it wasn't menopause cuz she was having some cramps and was massaging her abdomen, and felt a grapefruit sized lump. She had been pregnant 8 other times before this. It is totally reasonable to miss the signs of pregnancy.

This was the same with my grandma when she was pregnant with my mom! She was late 40s, had had 8 children before her, and actually skipped menopause because she had my mom! Always joked that my mom was her favourite because she let her skip that đ€Ł
same with my mom! she was 45 when i was born and initially chalked it up to menopause.
honestly i would love to hear a trauma based therapist's reactions to the shock effects of the mothers/families portrayed in these episodes, too

The only one that was really odd was the woman who's husband went on a work trip and while he was gone she gave birth to a baby, not knowing she was pregnant. After she gave birth she didn't tell anyone or go to the hospital or dial 911 or anything. She literally just kept a newborn baby at home with her and when her husband came home a few days later he was in complete shock and sent her to the hospital. Thankfully the baby ended up being okay but for some reason the woman was in such denial she refused to see a doctor.
â@@6thgraderfriends to be fair though, she had extremely hogh blood pressure. The shock, trauma, relief, and the blood pressure all alone could have affected her mental state, but together really could have put her in a serious disassociative state. It seemed like she was running on instinct, caring for the baby, and not thinking rationally, hence even her saying she didn't know why she made the choices she did. It took a clear-minded person to do the sensible thing. Psychology is very interesting and human reactions after a big trauma and shock can be very extreme and not make sense after the fact or to outsiders.

Cuz I was feeling weird and different and took 2 pregnancy tests (which came out negative) but tried again cuz I was still feeling weird and it came out positiveđđ took 3 more and all positive. I am now 35 weeks pregnant with my first baby and Iâm having a boy đ so thank you because if I didnât take a test i would have attributed it to my pcos

I love the slap, sometimes you really need one to get moving đ€Ł. I did that to myself a few times when I just froze in critical situations, it's like shocking your system and then you're just like "better get moving".
I feel like some people are focusing too much on the slap and don't look at the situation....dude was panicking, was in his own head. Mom intervened, brought him back to earth and started giving orders. It's NORMAL in situations like these to receive orders from people that aren't as affected as you are. I've done it with my husband when he was distressed and having a panic attack and he's done it with me
Yep. Mom and dad were understandably in shock and Grandma came in and took control of the situation and got everyone taken care of.
@@TwinsBigLikeTia I think it's up to the person to decide how they feel about it. We don't know the normal habits of their home. Grandma has also just experienced a severe shock. I'm not going to judge trauma responses.

You don't know how you'll act in a potentially life-threatening situation until you're in one. If someone is freaking out, you do what you can to calm them.
Are there better responses? Obviously, yes. But I've been in a life-threatening situation with my own infant and freaking out, so no, I won't judge them for their honest reaction.

I have the "just take a test" motto so ingrained into me, that I almost took one a few weeks ago. I was just beyond exhausted and didn't know why. I stopped myself in the aisle when I remembered I'd had a hysterectomy last year đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł

My cousin's wife is tiny. She looked like she doubled in size when she was pregnant. She's half Brazilian and half German but looks Brazilian. Her husband is half Irish and half Mexican but looks Mexican. He's also quite small. Their son looks like he got all the European genes. He's a giant white kid.

@@Laramaria2 short with dark skin, hair and eyes. If you look at her, you would guess she's Latina. Definitely looks far more Brazilian than German. She also grew up in Brazil, though you wouldn't know that unless you heard (and recognized) her accent.
@@Sam_on_CZcams apparently you know nothing about Brazilians, a good 60-70 percent of Brazilians are light........it is a very mixed bag of folks in Brazil
@@aspidistraeliator I'm aware it is a mix. All of Latin America is. Mexico as well. I've known Mexicans with the same skin color as me (dark for a caucasian). I don't know a ton about Brazil, but I will say that she looks more Brazilian than German. Even if there are several ethnicities that are native to Brazil, she is still one of them (or a mix of them). Also her skin is not all that dark, just darker than typical Germans. It is about average for the broad range you find in Latin America.

Can you imagine having a baby like that? The mother in law coming in and assessing the situation and then slapping her son like, "GET AHOLD OF YOURSELF, MAN!" is so on brand of a Hispanic mama đ đ€Ł Hehe đ Thank God she was there to help.
"If something is different with your period and you're having sex with someone who can get you pregnant, just take a pregnancy test" has been the advice I never thought I'd need to hear because it seems so obvious! I was a few weeks out of a hysteroscopy, waiting for my period before TTC again, and it never came. Before I called the fertility clinic to find out wtf was going on, the voice of MDJ came to my head and told me just to take a damn pregnancy test even though I confident there was no way I could be pregnant. Turns out I was pregnant! Although I miscarried that pregnancy, I'll never not laugh at the time that I was one of those people that was so confident she wasn't pregnant that I had to be given the most basic advice to just take a pregnancy test!
I lost a lot of blood during my sonâs birth and I did the same thing. The doctor handed him to me and (Iâve been told) I just looked at him like I didnât know what to do with a baby. I donât remember the few hours after I had him and this makes me feel so much better about how I reacted to holding my baby for the first time.
The birth of my first was quite traumatic and I needed stitching up after he arrived. I wanted nothing at all to do with the baby. Nothing. And I got so annoyed with the midwife and the nurses keeping on asking me if I wanted to hold the baby, or kept giving the baby to me. What I treasure, though, is the look on my husband's face as he held his firstborn. The sheer look of wow. I wouldn't swap that for instantly falling in love with my baby. I'm saying this so you realise that not wanting to deal with the baby, or not being able to is nothing to be ashamed of. It's a normal reaction as you've just done a massive amount of work having the baby. I read some advice from Dr Sheila Kitzinger on just that, and that the reaction of not connecting with the baby is far more normal than people talk about.

People react different to trauma. When something unexpected happens and there is pain, we can react differently than what is usual. This is not your fault and you have no reason to feel guilty. This is just what happened to you at this moment. Sounds like you and baby are doing well. đđ¶đœđ
Without going into detail my daughter was in the NICU and I was in ICU after her birth. After 5 days the nurse wheels my daughter in and tells me she was discharged from the NICU and hands her to me. My daughter promptly reached out and ripped out my IV. I was so sick I couldnât look after myself let alone a newborn. It took me a few weeks to bond with my daughter and I feel no guilt or shame because itâs completely normal. I love my little gremlins to bits but there was no starry eyed love at first sight with either of them.
I had a teacher in high school who was very tall and slender. She was wearing tight jeans with belt with her form fitting tee in the jeans - Rachel Green style (it was the 90's). One December day she tells us she is pregnant and would not be finishing the senior year with us. We start congradulating her, asking how far along is she, and she tells us she is 8 months. We really thought she was joking, because no belly was showing at all and it was just her way to tell us off for asking too personal questions. Then the next class we had she comes in with this huge belly, looking very big, swollen and uncomfortable. We all were shocked, to say the least. She had the baby 2 weeks after. How did a full grown baby found a place to hide in that slender body of hers, I have no idea. She was like 1.80 m. and around 65 kg.
I read the "It was the 90's" portion in the auto-tuned sing-talking voice from Java Doodles' animated videos... And I do that voice every time I use the phrase or tell people about a certain time period ("It was the 2000's/2010's/80's", etc.)
Kid: Hey mom, tell me about my birth?
Mom: Welp, it was a water birth of sorts...
MDJ, I am so glad you cover this series as well as educate people on this subject. My husband was homeschooled and fundie Christian homeschooled to boot. I was my husband's sex ed teacher of sorts when comes to debunking and giving him correct answers to how it works and not the purity culture bs he was being fed by his mother that also had incorrect information from a health stand point too. We were 14 when we started dating and if I wasn't lucky enough to have nurses in my family who helped me debunk my sex ed from public school and keep me educated.(side note, I took sex ed in Maryland in 2010 so I have no idea if it still sucks but to sum up at the time it was abstinence only and even the health department fed us lies about toilet seat and hug STIs). I am so happy that at least one source of sex ed on the internet is factual about it and that it's you. And those of you who I know are lurking from the pro birth and purity culture cult trying to silence MDJ, Dishonor on you, Dishonor on your cow and on your whole family!

Iâm actually really glad my family cared enough about me becoming a well-rounded adult that they gave me a complete sex education in spite of being homeschooled and deeply religious. My mom went for scientifically accurate information, but with an emphasis on abstinence being best. When I did decide that I wanted to take that step with someone, I was in complete control over the situation.

Whoever came up with that true/false question this episode needs to be picked up by a trivia game show. 100x sounds like a lot, and since we all know that the answer should be something like âa lotâ, itâs a good trap.
On the other hand, it's not really a fair question, because in order to get to 1000x its size, it has to get to 100x first! So technically, the answer should be true, but it just keeps expanding.

The amount of times I yelled out loud "just get that baby outta the dang toilet!!" đ I'm not judging their shock, but it was literally giving me anxiety đ
Some of my coworkers were actually talking about this show just yesterday, saying how they didn't believe it could ever actually happen. And I've never been pregnant... but I've mistaken enough of my periods for the flu or some other kind of illness at first that I don't think it's that hard to believe at all. If you're not feeling movement or gaining weight, I don't think there are too many other pregnancy symptoms that couldn't be mistaken for something else.
(One of my aunts gained almost no weight with her first baby. She was a bit on the heavier side to start with, but she definitely didn't look pregnant even up to that last month. If she hadn't been actively trying to get pregnant, I'd believe it could have gone undiagnosed the whole time.)
Itâs even easier to imagine if a woman has irregular cycles and thinks nothing of missing a month every few months. Iâve had extremely irregular cycles in the past, to the point where I wasnât really menstruating for several years. I have PCOS, and my testosterone levels were off the female scale and into the male range. With treatment for the PCOS, Iâve gotten my T levels back down to a point that itâs under better control, but I would still have an irregular cycle.
The mind is a powerful thing, if you believe something isnât possible you can ignore a LOT. Plus folks with neurodivergence or trauma can struggle with interoceoption if it can make you ignore hunger clues until you physically hurt, ignore bladder and bowl cues until itâs on the verge of an emergency seems reasonable that occasionally it could make you not realize thereâs a baby in there till itâs time to give birth.
Because of this series, despite husband having a vasectomy and me having PCOS and irregular periods, I am so flipping paranoid, we are done lol. I have pregnancy tests just to make sure.
I doubt Iâd have this anxiety without this show đ

Fellow PCOS sufferer + IUD for 4 years, I had a worry because I was feeling terrible in November and we donât use protection other than iud. My fiancĂ© and I sat by the pregnancy test and we were terrified. When the test was negative, there was a huge sigh of relief however a tiny part of us was so sad. Itâs kinda crazy how conditions affect everyone differently

I love that you said you tell your patients to take a test anytime their cycle is irregular. I'm pregnant with my second and always have irregular periods when I'm off BC, but my first couple visits after finding out, basically every nurse/doc/student I encountered asked how the heck I knew I was pregnant with such irregular cycles. I was always like "um. Because I was off BC so I kept taking tests?" The reactions were so weird to me.

When my work wife came back from maternity leave she was telling me about her experience. She said that when her baby was actually born she couldn't handle him right away. She flat out told the doctor to give the baby to the dad to hold because she was too overwhelmed at that moment by the mental and physical trauma that she had just gone through. It was the first time I'd really heard someone talk about how they didn't have the starry-eyed moment when they saw their baby for the first time and I thought that her response was 100% valid. I don't think there's anything wrong with saying "I've been through a trauma and I'm not in the right mental space right now that I need to be when I meet my baby. Give me a few minutes." Thank you for talking about this.

Yep, every pregnancy different. With my first, never sick, I could wear my normal clothes throughout. For 2 and 3: "morning" sickness so bad the first 4 months I was incapacitated. The last 5 months were barely better. And I gained significant weight.
This was me as well. The first pregnancy was almost too easyđ, and the second pregnant was hell.
My mother had my sister, then me a bit over 26 months apart. Then when she got pregnant with my brother, she said she knew it was boy because â her girls never made her feel so sickâ and she was right, she had a boy. NOw I know thatâs not a real way to tell, but thatâs her story. Itâs a cute story.
@@maryannkom299 Sometimes women do react differently when carrying a boy. Itâs mostly hormonal and doctors arenât really sure why it happens. Itâs definitely a possible thing though.

I always doubted these stories until it happened to someone at work. I got up one morning and saw her facebook post about her âsurprise babyâ along with pictures and her story. I had lunch with this woman the day before, had no clue that she was pregnant and sure didnât show. She had a nice, big, healthy baby and Iâm still confused as to where on earth that child was hiding in her!!

A girl I was friends with in high school hid her first pregnancy until the day she gave birth in grade 12, and her second pregnancy when she was a few years older, she didnât know until she gave birth. She had a big chest and carried really small! She went into the hospital with a stomachache and came out with an 8 pound boy! Apparently he didnât move the whole pregnancy, which I actually can really see because he was a very calm baby
My mom didnt make it all the way to delivery but didnt know she was pregnant until 7 months. When they told her she was pregnant she was on her period. Kept having one every month. She worked at an ice cream store and thought the weight gain was all the extra ice cream she was eating. She said she never had any other symptoms.

Referring to the brain, I was able to talk myself out of morning sickness, I hate vomiting, it was the one thing I wasnât looking forward too.
My mum tells me all the time she had morning sickness 24/7 with me the whole 7.5 months she carried me, she couldnât keep anything down. So I was so determined that I wasnât going to have it at all. I also had no craving and was lucky enough not to have any other symptoms. Not just once but twice. Both babies were a breeze to carry.
Thatâs amazing I tried to control my hyperemesis gravidarum my whole pregnancies but nothing helped I vomited so forcefully I saw silver stars. I often had IVs for dehydration and broke blood vessels in my eyes. As well as continually losing weight or not gaining any weight at all. Itâs a horrible experience but I pushed through until I was induced early. Thankfully I had 3 9+pound healthy babies. All three times the day after delivery I was able to keep down food and liquid because I even threw up water and other liquidsđ€ąâ„ïž

hi!! i just wanted to say that i've been watching your videos for a while now, and as a victim of DV, i've found myself regularly thinking "you do the best you can with the information you have at the time". like that saying is just stuck there, in my head, whether I like it or not. and it's been so incredibly helpful through the healing process when i start spiralling and blaming myself for the abuse. so thank you for that and for everything else you do
It's such a good mantra for many situations! I hope you're safe and working through healing now. There's a nice resource called "Honouring Resistance: How Women Resist Abuse in Intimate Relationships" that explores many ways in which people fight back again DV, even if we don't recognize it at the time. I find it helpful for recognizing and remembering how we do the best we can in difficult times, it might be worth googling (I don't think we can post links here?). Yikes! I paused and read that comment. I am so very sorry you had to go through that. Someoneâs mom should have disciplined better. I think you are great and I have learned a lot from your channel. I am 52 and due to a young hysterectomy and then losing my ovaries after that, post menopausal woman. I think back to the information I had as a 20year old when I found out I was pregnant. That was a scary time of crappy birth control and information that was more readily available from the old wives than from medical professionals. I love that you are helping todayâs new moms. I really like this show. For me, I started having symptoms within days of conception. With my daughter tho, I had a negative test, but insisted on another test....which I had to wait a month to get....before it came back positive. Of course, there were a couple of times after I had my tubes tied that I thought I was pregnant but was not.

My cousin was born in his parent's living room, he was a quick birth and was born before the paramedics arrived. My mom helped deliver him since she happened to be visiting when my aunt started contractions.
My co-worker ( an short stout lady), found out she was pregnant with her 2nd child at 46. She left work and when to the hospital for sever stomach cramps - yeah, she was pregnant and didn't know.

Regarding tanning, i HATED not being able to tan when i was a teenager and in my 20s! So happy i gave up after burning a few times and started on slapping on sunscreen on my face daily 20+ years ago (not always a decent spf or enough product, but something).
I agree with that last statement because it hits home a lot. In a similar situation I would never think I'd be pregnant. Because I'm almost always ill with some kind of digestion related thing, I have chronic gastritis. It's very easy for me to drink coffee and feel it in my stomach for an hour. It's especially horrible because the pain isn't bad but it's bad enough to make me lethargic. I had it the other day and as soon as I went out I started to feel better getting some movement. I also have frequent indigestions from fatty foods or acidiky foods. Like onions. I love onions in dishes. Like raw onion in a salad is amazing. But then I can feel the onion in my throat and stomach for a while. And let's not forget that if I lay down right after eating I get acid reflux.
Plus this is a bit tmi but I have gas issues and heavy cramps due to my lactose intolerance. Like I can sit on the toilet pooping for one full hour with crazy ass pain from lactose or food poisoning. I had that a few months ago. I was glued to the toilet then felt a bit of nausea. It was so bad I couldn't go out like I wanted to and ended up lethargic on the couch the entire morning. So I would definitely blame my gi track issues or food poisoning. Same for others. Like if I saw my mom like that I'd blame wine or some food that gave her reflux. Like the other day when she ate a traditional Ukrainian dish at her friend's house. And they used lots of onion for that dish and the whole evening my mom could feel it in her stomach. She came home and had to take a gaviscon she was feeling so bad. I honestly may end up not knowing I would be pregnant.

My cousin had a flat stomach, until she found out she was pregnant. Within a week, none of her clothes fit. I think sometimes not knowing or being in denial, affects how you carry the baby.
Weird but true.. there's even some women who think they are pregnant (mental health problem usually) and develop a belly, but they aren't actually pregnant.
This would make sense especially for situations like this. 1st pregnancy was typical body change and 2nd was no change simply because she didn't know.
That happened to a friend of mine. She had negative pregnancy tests (both urine and blood) at the doctor for six months before the doctor realized that she was pregnant. Once she found out she was pregnant, she started to show that she was really pregnant within a couple of weeks.
