I must have seen this video a hundred times and it is "the hands down best tassa dance" video I have ever seen. This is an art and it is a learned cultural skill from our dynamic Afro-Indian history. The drums and dance is unique only to us...I love this and thanks so much for reminding me of who I am and where I came from...This defines us...well the happy side!!

If you’ve ever seen the true flamenco as done by the real gypsies from Granada Spain, and know the history about the migration of the original gypsies from India, you’ll realize that the dancing displayed here is rooted in a far greater and glorified history than just simply Trinidadian culture. There is a richness and beauty in the dancing that these dancers can’t quite capture but it will pass.
