I’m NOT big on letting players into the NFL HOF because it’s seems they let anyone in nowadays! Leonard Marshall is not a HOF player in my humble opinion. Example: Jerome Bettis & Coach Tony Dungy (Tony’s a nice guy & all. He was obviously a minority HC but he just didn’t win enough. Especially given the fact that he had 1 of the best QB’s of all time & he only won 1 Super Bowl) both those guys aren’t HOF caliber! I’m not even a NY Giants fan but if Carl Banks wasn’t overshadowed by Taylor? He’d be in the NFL HOF as I’m writing this. So let’s do this Man some justice! Put this Man who actually worked for it & DESERVES it! Into the Professional Football Hall of Fame! P.s. He’s a Hell if a good announcer too! He reminds me a lot of Butch Going; he’s extremely honest & because he is an ex-professional player; he can say whatever he wants, & it’s always the truth, but he’s very passionate about his team & he tells it like it is! If the Giants are playing like trash? He lets us & them know it! Just like Butch Goring does with the NY Islanders. (I could careless if he’s been in 1 Pro-Bowl or a 100 Pro-Bowl’s) P.p.s. He is a HOF player, period!

    1. He was the most underrated NFL player I've ever seen.
    2. He may have been THE best strong-side outside linebacker of all time.
    3. Mark Bavaro's statement that blocking against Banks in practice made him a great tight end is a testimonial to Banks' talent and work ethic.
    4. In addition to being a great linebacker in all facets of the game, his football IQ was off the charts.
