New Brake Pad & Rotor Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1APBS00574
This video shows you how to install new, quality TRQ brake pads and rotors on your 2008-2010 Ford F-250. Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty
    2009 Ford F-250 Super Duty
    2010 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Spooked me when he hit the backside of the rotor with the hammer.. Had to watch to make sure he was installing new.

I have commented on this point on similar videos. First this is a good video, that being said not a good idea to reuse the brake caliper anchor plate bolts as they are torque to yeild bolts. Why not just replace them... Cheap insurance particularly for towing heavy loads..

    Hey man, u got a typo in there, the 2009 model I worked on today used a 16mm socket/wrench, NOT a 17.

Great video, very helpful. Just wondering, is it a good idea to compress the caliper before removing? I pried mine off without compressing (have always done this with all the cars I've worked on) and both caliper pistons had chunks broken out of them. I'm wondering if this happened because they got caught on the knobs on the back of the brake pads when I was prying off the caliper. From what I am reading in forums, these pistons can be fragile.
