@@lucky889s9 - Podz has been good. But we’ve had plenty of role players like him over this run. Divincenzo, Paschall, Quinn Cook, Ian Clark, Kuminga is the first to look capable of leading, not just supporting. Poole looked like that too but was too one-dimensional. Kuminga can post up, shoot mid range, shoot 3’s and dunk on anybody. And they drafted him more for his defensive potential which is amazing.
I am very excited about Podz which how much he’s doing besides scoring. And he’s only 20. Personally, I think the Warriors only chance to be contenders again involves sitting Klay, and starting Podz & Moody and hoping they make the same jump Kuminga did
He is easily the second best player on the team.
He’s been their best in 2024 !

Some tough love maybe. Steph Klay & Dray have all gone thru what Kuminga has had to deal with....a young player fighting for playing time or getting pulled from games because of mistakes.
For real. It's been frustrating to seem benched in Favor of Wiggins or Klay. Klay's glory days are over man. Let Kuminga shine now.

Peep the improving dexterity with the left hand. His handle seems alot better. I never knew he could dribble left that well. He's developing in many areas offensively. He seems to be incorporating things he learned from Steph and Draymond.

What many never saw including Kerr is Durant being near 7 ft, defended the paint which was never expected charting those year their stats on block shot was high this also spoiled Kerr in thinking a center wasnt needed. JK, being only 6'6 cant ever match KD importance defensively. Sure he gets to the basket quicker but KD height commands attention in the middle while he would short jumpers over guys like JK, even James which was evident in the playoff matchup.

I don't believe Klay has an emotional problem. I believe he has to get in shape. He's slow, weak and does not elevate like he used to especially when he shoots the ball.
