- I will try again to dig a water well, which I tried two years ago but failed.
This place is part of my homestead.
LAMP (female dog) and YONA (female cat) are usually in the main house.
Orange Tabby's GWIN (male cat) is elusive.

This is not a how-to video.
The method I'm using is not necessarily the right one. Nowadays, you can find out the right way to do things by searching on Google. If you only want results, that's fine too.
But for me, the most important thing is not whether a method is right or wrong, but to experience firsthand why it succeeds or fails.
All work is done personally and at my own risk.

I hope the water comes up .I grewup in the country its how we got our water thru a hand pump , didn't have a sink to turn nobs so the water could come out .we pumped it a brought it inside in a bucket or pan .

Maybe the dug well will fill with water from top down if the rain just continues, or not. Like the idea of using the auger to find water. Puts a smile on your face when water is finally found. 😊

Your patience and perseverance with the water well is admirable! I wish I had just one bag of the soil you have there. Tennessee only has hard red clay. To dig up a plant to place somewhere else takes much more than putting the spade into the ground - and voila! :) I really enjoy your videos, Silverfox... keep it up!

It's been awhile since I've watched you everything looks great your pickles look so good I miss canning use to can nearly four thousand jars of everything every year but had to quit love hot dogs with mustard catsup onion and dill pickles on them your dog is just as beautiful as ever you take care God Bless you

It may require some extra effort, or some extra $$. Hopefully the resource of the magic liquid may be worth an investment of a test hole to get an exact gauge of where the water lies, and how much. I see you collect the rain water, but is that sufficient? I love how Gwin hung out , staying dry as you worked in the rain, but he made sure that he let you know when you came up on the porch that he was there for you. He is one with you! I see you teased hungry Lamp has he drooled over the hot dogs.You know what Mick says" you can't always get whatcha you want, but if you try, sometimes, you get whatcha need" Peace!
