- The video clips were collected by NJ Advance Media during an investigation into Officer Joseph Reiman of the Carteret Police Department. Reiman was indicted on a charge of assault in a different arrest in 2017, and was the subject of an NJ Advance Media analysis finding he was responsible for more than one-fifth of all arrests involving force recorded by the Carteret Police Department over a 23-month period.
The month before Rosario was arrested he filed a complaint with the department, saying he felt his "life was in danger" from the cop and that Reiman and another officer, John Kelly, had harassed him for years

Looked like contempt of cop to me.
Cop didnt catch the guy driving or pull him over. So thr guy was right. Cops only option was to give a ticket to the parked vehicle if there was something wrong and the reason of the stop. Cop not once mentioned one thing that was wrong with the car just that the guy wouldnt ID.
Well without reasonable articulate suspicion of a crime. Guy is under no obligation to ID.
So then the cop tripples down. Because hes stupid. Arrests the citizen for a secondary crime.
Bet these charges were dropped. Hope this guy sued but it can be expensive.
If I pulled what the young punk was "trying" to pull I would expect to catch a hot one. The young punk ass villan got off good in this here situation. Damn young punks.

do these people really _not_ know that it is the law that you if drive a car you must present your id to a law enforcement officer who asks for it and that when he tells you to get out of the car, you have to exit the vehicle? I ask bc these people keep claiming to know their rights and what the cops are and are NOT supposed to do and they're just wrong.. we PAY cops to stop people, ask for id, tell them to get out of the car and arrest people who disobey the laws!

while everyone laughs at the situation,, this video was made to make the officer justify putting my faceand body thru plexi glass> noone hear can imagine the suffering i had to endure since then due to this officer being related directly to the mayor. i have the upmosst respecct for anyone who wears a badge i can only pray that my children never haave to go thru this ANd that true justice be served... this same guy .. cut my breaks .. tried to run me over in personal vehichle along with altered the whole trajectory of my life... thats the TRUTH @ NJADVANCE MEDIA
Yeah the video definitely justifies the officer's actions. That kid is just ignorant.
A simple request shouldn't have to escalate to an arrest, but the kid wanted to play the game. Stupid games yield stupid prizes.

I noticed that every time i see a footage of law enforcement officers in New Jersey they not professional and they're rude and abusive to the public. Is this what goes on in New Jersey?
????? what Video did you watch? The guy was a thug and got of of the car so officer can wright a ticket....so the guy though the new the law and did not so he got what he had coming. Cop was easy on him till he had to go hands on......I hate bad cops but not every cop is bad.
