Why don't they stop using elephants and big cats in circuses... it's quite common for them to get behaviour problems... elephants get depressed from being not with their own kind, and forced to do stupid tricks they have no meaningful reason to do... how would you like it
I met an elephant in an elephant refuge that was an ex circus elephant. I was told she hated being in a circus and that she was 57 years old. I said I was 57 years old too. She kept nuzzling me like it does get better.

It was the main road in Butte, there was a circus in town and they were giving the elephants a bath when a car backfired and scared her and she ran off, nobody was hurt and everyone enjoyed seeing her, and she wasnt hurt either
