Thank God I've been saving all my empty cans. With the 160 I've got tucked away I can now make 80 tiny stoves that run on lighter fuel. Brilliant.
@@polarblue7468 but lighter fluid tends to stick around it doesn't evaporate as fast as alcohol when exposed to air
@@polarblue7468 I heard him say "spirt". That's rubbing alcohol, so you're right.
@@polarblue7468 I'm not sure about Russia. In my language "spirt" strictly refers to rubbing alcohol, but I think we borrowed that word from Russian. We also use "spirit" to describe alcohol, but never to describe that specific type of rubbing alcohol.
Google translate detects it as Russian and translates it as both alcohol and spirit so it could be either or even both.
But from my experience, moonshine burns stronger than vodka so always go for moonshine haha.
A brilliant explanation of how to waste time and energy making something that anyone could improvise...
This is what CZcams was back then. Endless information useful for every day life. I don't understand the language, but you have made this so well, a person doesn't have to. Thank you for such a great video helping people that not everything is trash. Pollution affects everyone, thanks again for such educational video. Can't wait to see them all.
Wow!
Great comment.
I don't have to say anything.
You did it for me. 👍🏽😎
Peace 🕊️ and Blessings 🙏🏽
This is true! Great comment!
back when? this videos published May 16, 2021.
@@swidi9187 You've obviously missed the point, so let me break it down for you. Back then, CZcams had videos much like this one ALL OF THE TIME. There was never a time when you weren't being taught something like this and the reason why you should never throw important things away because someday they will actually be of use to you and should those videos ever be ignored, your own survival might be threatened. In a lighter case, having knowledge like this on hand is important for when you forget something like a stove for example. If you had this knowledge it would be a temporary replacement to cook with or do science experiments with, I don't know. The important thing is that people carry on knowledge such as this so it isn't forgotten to time. Also videos like these are very soothing to watch.
its just that my man starts out saying "this is what youtube was back then" "THEN" like 7 months ago? c'mon get real.
i know the time-frame hes referring to and it wasnt no 7 months ago. ( im speculating the video was assumed to have been uploaded way long ago because the quality- and he just fired away some comment to make today sound not as good as yesterday, without realizing this is a current video) i mean my mans got nostalgia about May of this year!. lol. -NO- and there wasnt some huge paradigm shift in the now so-called "content" since May this year. Ill call it pre-"content/influencer" days... youtube videos used to be more raw.
Awesome Idea for making your own threaded sleeves in the ends of the aluminum rod. Thanks for the tip!!!
Yeah, I could go out and buy a kerosene stove but projects like this are perfect to keep a person busy during a long, dark winter. Plus you get the satisfaction of making something out of otherwise useless garbage. Thanks for the vid!
yeah , but i hate coke.......dumpster diving will be coming back soon
@Tony F *_ Why do you have ENGLISH titles but only speak a language that only your kinfolk understand..... where's the "Sub-Titles"????? _*
@@liongod1000 I don't have the the slightest idea wtf you're talking about. Are you responding to my comment about making something from a throwaway item? How do "English Titles", "kinfolk", and " 'Sub- Titles'" fit in to this. In fact, are you sure you're talking to me??? If you are, please explain. I'd like to know. Thank you.
@@tonyf.8858 He's talking about the Russian guy, but he probably hoped y'all would gang up on him because he didn't put subtitles in a video a 7 yo kid would understand.
@@High_Monk Ohhh, I see. I got it. Thanks.
It does my heart good to hear a Russian who can actually bring himself to burn alcohol rather than drink it. I did not know such a Russian could exist!
Atleast a Russian has progress rather than a Mexican who hasnt put a bottle down
@@savvy2968 not savvy at all, just racist.
They used that fire to make more vodka....
I have not yet met Americans who do not think about vodka at the sight of a Russian. Propaganda in America works well. Surprisingly, they, like children, believe in it.

Extended version of the “soda can alcohol stove”. Very good!
I will give this a try! The video was easy to follow. A picture is better than a thousand words.
Definitely one of the cleverest and well designed Custom,Personal stoves I've seen. The finished product is sleek and professional. Sturdy too, excellent for outdoor use. Except maybe some stronger aluminum. Excellent job ,thanks for sharing!
Try metal food cans, the aluminum will brake down over time.
I don't think it would do well outside if there is any wind at all.
I learned the secret, and I'm most certainly throwing out every aluminum can I ever get again.
Yeah I know ,its like, what the hell ?
Can't get that time back.

I'm up to 763 alcohol burners. I gotta cut back on the Coka Cola.
I agree, for that matter, this can be done exponentially better with much less work. One can literally dig a hole badly and make a better stove top that uses less fuel.
Great idea and video. Thank you for showing each step, even though we don't all speak the same language, I totally understood your presentation.
I understood most of it. Yet what were the liquids he used at the end. I assume that was water he poured into the stove.
The only other clear flammable liquid I can think of us alcohol but I don't see how that would burn long enough to boil the water.
Oh I just realized that it could be some kind of oil too.🤷

Good ol' Russian Vodka.
Made from potatoes
Understood "Bolt" perfectly
Very nice vid. I understood it also
@@jeffreyohler2599 It was most likely Methylayted Spirits, used widely in small fuel stoves, and the rope inside the tube acts as a wick. The initial pouring of a little of the spirits into the coke can end, is a kind of primer to kick off the process...

Great build! Helpful Hint: Acetone on a rag will wipe paint off cans.
Thanks for your ideas 💡 !!!
Most cars use a catalyzed paint, when dry they are impervious to solvent damage. Exactly like aircraft paint.
@@gmansaidify Uh, nobody said anything about paint on cars did they? I was giving the man a helpful hint about removing paint off soda cans instead of sanding. Reading comprehension is key here, try to keep up.
Also modern car paint still oxidizes, cracks, and peels in time from sun and weather exposure. Catalyized or not it's still just paint.
That was awesome! Thank you brother.

Excellent, very good work and easy to follow, camera work excellent also, i have one question. What was the green thing you put inside the tube, that went in the burner end?. Thank you for you effort and know how.
