Haven't been since a kid 15 years ago... It's amazing I remember every inch of that video. Crazy the transformation the terrain has made
Heading down to WV in April to run this the Rockhouse trail system. Trail 97 is now on the bucket list! Thanks for some great footage.
Im glad to see an actual riding video with all different types of machines and not just fully built bouncers goin up one hill.
Thanks for taking the time to put out great HD videos
Thanks for the kind comment Del Riv. Stoked you enjoy the videos and glad you think the quality is good. I wish CZcams didn't compress the videos so much. The quality of the actual videos is 5X better before I upload it.
camino difisil y peligroso.. un gran reto. buen video
You guys are the best!!!!!! My kind of 4 wheelin"!!!!!!! :-)
Thanks Kurt! Appreciate the love man! The video does not do this climb justice. It looks sooo much bigger when you are actually there.
Awesome video. I love watching the technical riding like on this vid.
Thanks bzford, technical riding is my favorite too. Hoping to bring you guys some awesome technical riding content this spring and summer. I love all sorts of riding but the technical stuff has got to be my favorite along with high speed trail riding.
Absolutely awesome video
One of the best on CZcams. Thanks
Thanks Erick!! Pumped you enjoy the videos! It's awesome to hear you think they are some of the best SXS videos on CZcams. I really appreciate that awesome compliment man!!
Great video, impressive climbs.
Thanks Trail Teryx, wish the video did a better job showing the depth. It really doesn't do the trail justice. Looks really flat and easy on the video. Feels completely different when you are there.
Nice way to show the difference in 4wds on the machines. Keep up the good work on the vids.
Thanks TKGATOR! Glad you enjoyed it. They all did well, but you're totally right, you can definitely see the differences in how the various machines function here.
Awesome, lot's of diverse conditions out there for sure! Can't wait to get back myself... 87 days... HAHAHA!!!
The countdown is on!! lol. Wish I was heading back that soon!! I can;t get enough of that place.
My favorite trail of rock house!!! Great technical trail for the Rzr 570 and Kawasaki terx
Must be awesome in the RZR 570. Having a smaller machine makes some of the trails a lot more technical and fun. Sometimes I find having a bigger machine like a RZR XP 1000, RZR Turbo or Maverick X3 makes certain trails that used to be fun and technical really easy. However, it does let you choose lines and go down trails some of the smaller machines can't, so it's a trade off.
What's your favorite trail system or trail on the Hatfield McCoy Trail System in West Virginia? Have you ridden here? Leave a comment below!!!
Only done Buffalo Mtn, Devil Anse, and Rockhouse.. All of them are awesome but we have the most fun rippin fast AF on the Devil Anse... Wooohoo!!!!
@@DirtObseXXion Ya man, they all rock. Bearwallow has some awesome technical trails. You and your crew would love it. Not too far from the Rock House trail system.
I live in Logan where Bearwallow is. If you all decide to come ride it, I'd love to join up
I've only ridden Buffalo Mountain and I loved it, my brother and his wife seemed to like it also but thought the trail was a bit to narrow. Their sissies when it comes to getting around cliffs that are straight down several hundred feet down.
Heck yeah 👍 these are the trails that get the blood pumping! I bet that gets really nasty with some rain
This climb would be insane if it was wet and mucky... lol. It's crazy how a little moisture can make what is an easy to moderate climb in the dry a nearly impossible one in the wet. I also love trails like this. The video doesn't do this one justice.
The camera always flattens out this type of terrain. If it looks moderate on film, I know it's actually pretty steep.
Love the content broski keep the great videos coming
Thanks Erasmo, glad you are enjoying the videos! Many more on the way.
i like when you go mudding through the creek should do that more often also really good vid keep up the good work
Thanks Weston. This time of year most the mud is frozen over here i Canada. Once we get a little closer to spring we will be hitting all the ravine trails and doing some trail riding on all the home trails.
Nice video!
Thanks PageMoto!! The video really doesn't do this climb justice.
"Oh, right I forgot this thing was three wheel drive!" LOL ! The RZR XP's definitely make it look easy.
lol! Couldn't resist... the Can-Am guys bust our chops every chance they get too so you gotta get the shots in while you can, lol. The 3 wheel drive thing never gets old, haha.
lol Kevin. I've said it so many times I probably sound like a broken record but it just never gets old. It really gets under the skin of the Can-Am boys and like many of you know, busting chops on the trail is one of the best parts of riding with your buddies, lol.
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd Seriously though! If that "well placed tire" would have turned, he would have walked right up over that. LOL
@@wvantiques1611 ya, it tough choosing a line sometimes when you aren't sure whether the wheel will engage or not. Or when it will engage.
I like watching your videos. Always makes me want one of those little bitty UTVs to just beat the hell out of and not care. Keep it up.
Thanks man! Glad you enjoy the videos. Compared to many vehicles they are small and compared to many others we are considered pretty big. Regardless, they are very capable machines and do take quite a beating.
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd I guess your right. There are channels devoted to remote control trucks.
These are just like a remote controlled truck, except you get to steer from the inside, lol.
Really trying to see what you use for camera gear! Trying to start videoing our rides and your videos have the best quality yet.
Lol I will make sure to bring an extra belt and I might need it after climbing with you lol
Ya, I've heard Yamaha YXZ's are bad for blowing belts man... hard to swap on the trail too..... lmao
Rock house is a great trail system. Been there and bear wallow. Have you guys considered going to rush offroad in Kentucky for the anniversary bash in April? Good time down there and lots of trails to ride from mild to wild.
Dale Oliver I’ve been wanting to go to Rush Offroad Park for a long time. Not sure I’ll be able to make it in April but it’s on my bucket list for sure. Bearwallow is one of the best trail systems out there. I’ve got some great video to edit from there in the next few months.
Great video. Come to Idaho and ride with us
Hey Gary, thanks man. Glad you enjoyed the video. Would love to head down to Idaho. Wish I had more free time and a larger budget, then I'd just ride all the time, lol.
Cool vid
You've got an awesome machine Caiden, the 900S never fails to impress me out on the trails.
What editing software do you use?
How do you think a
2017 Kawasaki teryx4 LE would do?
What is the best tire for rock/wooded trails and little bit of mud
Hey SisAndBro, I think a Teryx 4 LE should be able to handle this terrain no problem. My favorite mixed use tire is currently the ITP Blackwater Evolution. Does great in all the terrains you listed. A bunch of guys in our group have run them in the past or do currently. I've been running a set of 30X10X14's on my RZR Turbo for over a season now and absolutely love them.
I love seeing the wildcat sport rip through those trails, wish I bought one of those instead of the trail. Love my trail though
Yeah I picked up a havoc x for 11,500 and I'm riding that now but I def miss my trail for the tight woods trails
What Trail is at the 444 mark?
Nice vid bro only if their was a yxz their to show that diff lock lol jk bro keep up the vids man
Lol, you silly YXZ owners.... We all know your YXZ can barely make it up a trailer ramp without blowing a clutch.... lmao. Jussssy kiddding ;) ;) Would be awesome if we got a YXZ out there, it would do awesome on the Hatfield McCoy trails!
That wildcat looked like it struggled the least
Ya, the Wildcat does great in this type of terrain. They crawl really well. It always does well out on the trails with us. Most of the guys in the group have really grown to respect the capabilities of it. We were all skeptical at first but it has really won us over.
I’ve had my eye on them looking to buy a sport due to money and they seem to have good suspension and power
Hey dodge1432 ram14, the 2016/2017 Wildcat Sports Limited's were great units. Arctic Cat really put together a solid machine on a good budget. They come with Elka Suspension and it works really nice. They keep up with all of the other machines on the trails no problem.
What size are the Dirt Commanders on the XP1K? And how do you like them compared to the stock bighorns?
Hey Holden McGroin, thanks for checking out the video. The Dirt Commanders on the Orange and Black RZR XP 1000 are 30X10X15's. They have a little more all around grip than the Bighorns but which one is better really comes down to personal preference. The Dirt Commanders are tougher and less prone to punctures. A lot of guys swear by dirt commanders, they work great in most riding conditions. A few of the guys in the group that run them do seem to prefer them overall in comparison to the Maxxis Bighorns. A bunch of the guys running the Dirt Commanders went from Big Horns and say they like the overall performance of the Dirt Commanders better. In my opinion the Dirt Commanders are one of the best all around mixed use tires on the market right now. I'd say they are in the top 5. I prefer the ITP Blackwater Evolution's over the Dirt Commander but some guys in the group have also tried both and prefer the Dirt Commander's. So like I said, has a lot to do with personal preference. They are badass tires and I haven't heard anyone be disappointed running them.
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd Hey thanks for the reply man. I have an XP1K and yeah, I'm actually kinda stuck between the Dirt Commander and the Blackwaters, and also between 30" or 32". The terrain I ride is East coast, a lot like Hatfield. Rode Pochahontas, Indian Ridge, and Pinnacle last summer. If I have the coin to do the gear reduction and tires at the same time when I need tires I'll just go right to the 32s. Thanks!
Do you guys plan on going to Hatfield trails this summer? Be cool to meet up with you guys and ride. I watch all your videos. They are great. Keep it up. Would love to come up to Canada and ride with you guys.
Hey, I'm hoping to make it out to WV at least once this year. Usually we do a big group ride around August. I'll keep everyone posted. I would love to plan a group ride locally here where we ride because a lot of people have said they would love to come ride with us in Canada.
@@AdrenalineJunkieProd that would awesome to come up there and ride with you guys. I'll keep my schedule open for August if you guys plan on going to wv. Keep an touch. I'll keep watching your videos. Keep up the awesome rides and footage.
Thanks Dale, appreciate all the positive feedback man. I'll make sure to keep everyone posted on any upcoming rides we plan well in advance. It's a little too early for a bunch of us to plan our summer ride dates but once we figure out some details I'll let everyone know.
would love to send my wildcat xx through that put it to the test
That would be awesome Stewart, the XX would do great out on these trails. I'd love to get an XX in our group.
Hey Steward, I really want to get out and ride the East coast. Would love to explore Nova Scotia and the surrounding areas. So many places to ride, just not enough time and money to do it all! I'm sure that's a problem we can ALL relate to.
“I forgot this thing is 3 wheel drive” 😂😂. You working on some new content buddy? Ain’t seen ya in a while. Hope all is well.
Was One of those Polaris the trail model?
yes, the blue machine is my 2017 900 trail, in this video it is pretty much all stock.
Ryan Mcgraw ya, the blue RZR at 3:06 is a stock 2017 RZR 900 Trail. It’s does really well out there. We are always surprised at where it can go. Like I often say, the largest deciding factor on how well a machine performs is usually the driver.
jkwind 08 any regrets getting trail model instead of a larger rzr I’m weighing my options and just wondered if the pros outway the cons.
@@ryanmcgraw8478 I wont lie, I should have bought the S. The trail has been great machine, it is much better now with the lift spacers, and tires, however the suspension is a huge limiting factor with the type of riding we do.
Ryan Mcgraw, like jkwind said, if you are out choosing a machine then I too would suggest getting a 900S over the trail model. It's a much better platform in the long run. Well worth the extra bit of cash up front.
It never looks steep on video!!
Thanks for checking out the video, I hope you enjoy it! Aside from mid-high speed trails the #HatfieldMccoyTrails offer tons of fun technical crawls to test out your machines capabilities. Rock House trail 97 is one of my favorite trails on the #RockHouse trail system. It offers some long and fun rocky climbs. This section of trail is constantly evolving and changing with the seasons and varying weather conditions. As the season goes on the trail usually gets more washed out and rutted. When we shot this the trail was in pretty good shape and there was a ton of grip. This stuff gets really interesting when it's wet. The next time I came back here a year later this section of trail was much harder to get through and you will see that in future videos. If you like the videos then make sure to hit the thumbs up button, leave a comment and Subscribe to the channel!! #TeamAJP
Awesome. I love these types of trails. I can't drive as fast on rough terrain as I use to so I adapted to going slower over rougher stuff. This the type trails that I ride where my brother lives in Tennessee
Hey Stacy! As you prob already know, I love all sorts of riding. Slow, fast, technical, scenic, track, or anything else.
AdrenalineJunkieProd oh yeah I've noticed that.
i realize it's pretty off topic but does anyone know a good site to watch new series online?
@Keanu Jayce I watch on flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
