I wanna see you do the hundred pan elf palette with the goal to hit pan in all the shades. Maybe with a bonus goal of finishing the purple column. Your eye look today is so killer as well
I think doing the Coastal Scents palettes + Elf 100 pan would satisfy both the PTP theme and Better Together, plus they would be very motivating and have higher chances of empty pans for your low buy. Can’t wait to see what you choose.
I'm reading obsessed as well. It is the only way I can fall asleep at night. Gotta love the kindle app on your phone! I have to set rules for my reading self during normal day hours. I'm allowed to read a chapter, but then I have to get up and do a specific task before I read another chapter then do another task, etc. The first rule of fight club is that there is no fight club. 😉 While I would love to see you make more progress on that ELF palette, I feel like it might be better to just add a few here and there into other projects. That would give you success in other projects too. I could totally see you doing those Coastal Scents quads and they would give you color and be easy to finish. Ok, well now you bring out Huda Amethyst, so I have to pick that since it is what I'm panning. 😂 Do NOT pick MAC, you will get frustrated. Yup, I'm voting for Huda, but the Coastal Scents quads are also a very smart pick.
My vote goes to the 100 shadows palette because if you haven´t been able to stop thinking about it you are clearly enjoying it and I would pair it with the too faced chocolate chip as a way to still have those neutrals as your go to ( keeping in mind that too faced shadows are incredibly hard to pan) I love watching all your projects 😘
Hi Paula I'm so glad you decided to still do this video. It's one of my favorites to watch. I think you should continue to use your elf palette in beauty a to z and pick the huda as your pan that palette with more of a goal to hit pan on the shades rather than finishing them. I think you'll get the variation that you need and can make them work for all seasons. I don't think you should pick the coastal scents because although they are small, it's always surprising how long they can last. I also don't see much variation, and so I think you'll run into the same issue as you did with this year's palettes.
I believe the elf 100 pans is the way to go. You made great progress in 2022 and this year too. You still think about it, so just do it. I found the coastal scents don't have a great varity of kook, so maybe pick on as baby pan that palette instead. Since the elf palette is not great for shimmer, you could add a all shimmer pallet for your better together? The Morphee one is an option and I know you have the toofaced Life a festival could be an option too.
I vote for any one EXCEPT the elf palette. Please use your more expensive palettes instead of using the cheapest one and letting the fancy expensive ones go bad!!!!
So many great choices- but it seems obvious to me you're most motivated by the ELF 100 and the Coastal Scents Quads. I say throw a quad in as a Better Together and find creative ways to use the heck out of all of them. When you finish 1 quad, roll the next in! I think you'll have a great experience in 2024 by giving yourself a leg up!
Do the Coastal Scents hot pot quads. It’s still 8 eye shadows to finish. That’s a lot! I finished 2 eye shadows this year and hit pan in one. For me, that’s a very successful year.
Here’s my two cents! Either pan the CS mini quads as a baby PTP and make your 100-pan palette your regular PTP. I think if you don’t make those quads your PTP in some capacity, you might not ever use them and it’s best to declutter. Totally just my opinion though! Love you Paula!
I second this as I think one of the Coastal Scents would be best rolled in as your baby PTP. I feel the end is in sight for that Smashbox duo early next year.
I'm still catching up on other videos but I HAD to watch this as soon as I saw the notifications! Don't feel bad. It's not that it was two 4 pan palettes - I think it was the choice of colours and then also the other shadows in other projects. It's super exciting that better together will be back! I think... Keep the elf 100 pan palette in a-z and bring in the coastal scents mini quads as your PTP as they should be relatively decent to pan? Each time I see them in your inventory I'm just like... Oh my gosh these need to go!
You should probably choose either the CS palettes or the elf 100 as they seem to be the easiest to pan. With some of the other palettes progress is going to be sparse and you could use easy low-buy points. Whatever you pick though is definitely going to be fun!! 😊
Pick the tiny ones! I don't think I've ever panned an eyeshadow so the thought of doing a whole palette has always overwhelmed me so I've never even attempted it
I have hit pan on every pan in a Huda 9 pan palette this year and they went quite easily. The two Mac palettes however, took me ages and that was only to hit pan on most of them. So, I think going for the Huda to see some progress would be a good idea.
I think you are a pretty good panner, I hit maybe 3 pans of eyeshadow and finished 2 as blushes this year lol. I would go with the elf 100 pan eyeshadow pallete, I think you have done an amazing job on it in 2022, I think this year you might have put too many eyeshadows in other projects and this might have distracted you from getting more use on pan that pallete I would put the sample quads in other projects throughout the year And panning toofaces is honestly too unrealistic, I had one of these but I would definitely only have usage goals on them whenever they are rolled in a project
I feel like a different focus palette every month or two could be fun for you one year. Good luck with any products you choose to pan next year. I think you're an amazing, engaging and relatable panner. Also have fun reading, books are also very important in my life, it's a wonderful hobby 😊
It’s so fun watching you pan the elf palette. You can always bring in more expensive shades from your collection for some va va voom without committing to finishing them.
I’m voting for the Morphe palette bc I believe that would give you the most joy and that’s what makeup should really be about! Loving what you’re putting on your face!
I vote ELF or the Huda Beauty palettes. Here's my thing about the CS quads. Let's consider function. You have three very deep shades. How quickly do you go through very deep shades? How many functions can those shades satisfy? I think you're setting yourself up for a lot of smoky eye looks or a lot of powder as liner looks just to hit pan and you're going to be further demotivated. The ELF and Huda palettes offer a lot more functionality. You get colours for blush, liner, transition, and in the case of the ELF palette, everything else for your whole face. The MAC palettes are absolutely ridiculously hard pressed. I panned my Burgundy palette years ago and loved it but it was a commitment I didn't realize I was making when over a year later I hadn't finished a 9-pan palette!
Haven’t even seen the palettes, but just want to say love that you’re super into reading!! I’ve also gotten deep into reading again this year and it’s the best!
Hi Paula I’m of the opinion you need a win this year and the coastal scents quads are probably the thing you can finish. However they are quite limited colour stories and better together is the Elf 100 - gives you the variety you are craving including purples. You can set your goals for better together however you like and hitting pan may be achieved on some shades you love. Too Faced and Mac are probably not the best choice for a year you need a win tbh as both are notoriously difficult to pan. You can bring any palettes into no pan left through projects for shimmer shades or a shimmer baby ptp. I hope that helps x
I would say keep the Elf 100 pan in A-Z and use the coastal scents quads as your pan that palette. Have you done a video on what you might do next for your baby pan that palette?
oh my gosh Ron has gotten so big!! i was just thinking the other day I missed his little visits. i don't think the problem is the type of palette ypu choose for PTP. I think you are a bit overextended with panning projects, if you pull back on a couple or three, you could really get into your PTP project. I vote yes for the coastal Scents quads
I love the idea of bringing back the 100 pan! I do also agree with some others though that you should also focus on a fancier or more high end palette to spread the love!! Especially if you pick one that has amazing shimmers they could complement each other perfectly :)) And the costal scents would be amazing for baby PTP
i love the idea of the coastal scents and you knocking it out of the park in 2024 but i also love that you are wanting to bring back the elf...i would love to watch you continue your way through that one LOVE!! coastal scents with the elf as the side palette for the year xo! merry christmas and happy new year
personally liked the mac palettes, i feel like out of all the options they are the most balanced combo, you get your neutrals and your purples. something that immediately threw me off w huda palettes is that they don't really have a deep brown or a similar neutral shade for the outer corner so you probably can't use just the two for a complete eye look in case you're wanting smth a bit less colorful :0 agree with letting the elf palette stay in a-z project and you can roll in one of the cs quads as a baby ptp whenever you finish the previous one!! excited to see what you pick
Hey Paula! My vote is the Huda Amethyst palette, and pair a neutral palette with it so you have variety and shadows for work. And maybe work on hitting pan in all the eyeshadows first? Another suggestion that has worked so well for me the past 2 years is to franken with other shadows I’m working on finishing. It has helped me customize the palettes to what works for me daily.
I don’t like the CS tiny quads as you’ll end up with 3 black shades. I think you should do one of the small Too Faced palettes and bring in a small duo/trio for better together. Make sure you have a great metallic in one! Or bring in the CS quad that has the blue shades for better together with one of the TF palettes. I remember really wanting a la mode, so I’m partial to that one. In your other projects, try to limit shadows or put smaller usage goals so you can focus on PTP but still play and meet goals.
I would love to see you pan the Huda obsessions purple palette, but both Huda obsessions together are too saturated. I would pair the Huda purple 9pan with the Too Faced white chocolate chip for some very neutral shades to tone down the purple. Or the neutral Mac palette for more taupe instead of pinky neutrals.
I would pan the elf 100 like this it will help your low balance and then maybe you could rotate during the year the rest of the palets with the goal of maybe hitting pan in one shade or something like that
I hope you do either the elf 100, or the Huda ones I think those would be fun to watch. But I also understand the allure to do the coastal scents to bring down your numbers and just get them out but I think you can do those ones on the side ANYWAY I don't think you're that slow or "bad" at panning that you can't get those out of the way in other projects or something you just had bad luck with last years palettes as you said.
I think one of the coastal scents should be your ptp then the elf should be your better together. Actually, I think you should swatch and make sure they all perform the way you'd like before making a decision.
I think you can pan the CS palettes. Maybe add the ELF one in you beauty A-Z like you did this year? So you can keep focusing on it in another project and have the succes of completing ptp in 2024! Or use the ELF one as your better together in conjunction with the CS palettes when they are getting low in product.
I vote the 2 tiny quads that don't have a lot of product. You can always work on your giant one alongside but the quads could take priority to get them out :)
as a slow panner I vote for using the coastal scents mini's of elf palette makes you feel good to hit goals and then maybe put a couple of shadows from the other palettes in other projects so you can use them but not disappointed if you can't pan them
You could do a "better together" with the elf one as your main PTP and a bunch of metallic singles or a metallic palette with a usage goal of 10 times or hitting pan or whatever you fancy
I think you are going to reach for your ELF palette anyway... so... make that one of your palettes so you can take the credit as you know you'll be using it anyway 😁 and the 'together' a small quad 😁😁😁
Palettes that you know you can’t possibly pan sounds a little boring to me. I think you will get distracted by other things and never get enough use out of them. I think you should do the coastal scents so you are guaranteed a win and do the elf in a-z again.
I’ve been thinking about your Elf 100 pan palette too all year long 😂 the coastal scents minis are a good choice as well. Curious to see what you end up choosing!
I think the tf chocolate chip palette with the elf 100. Hit as many pans as possible in the elf while aiming to finish the ones with pan in them previously. The coastal scents ones would be great baby ptp
Omg Paula, if you’re that into romantasy you need to read Ilona Andrews! They are a wife-husband duo and both their romances and their plots are soooo goooood!
I remember you obsessing over the white too faced palette. I would love to see you use it. Combine it with the other too faced pallets for variety. I know you won't be able to use them up, would I would be great if you at least could use them more. They are expensive.
I'm going against the grain - I think you should do the Huda Amethyst with the Too Faced white chocolate palette as the Better Together. Enough neutrals for everyday, but some color for variety and fun!
The costal scents is not a complete color range, what if you had those as your main focus with the elf as your supplement? You’re going to reach for it anyway, you may as well make it work for you :)
I vote for either Huda or TF palettes. Maybe count your uses on every shadow from the palette you will choose - this way you will know if pans are hard to pan or just not used enough?
I would vote for elf 100 as it seems that is where your heart lies. And as you say elf shadows are easier to pan. Mac eyeshadow is nearly impossible to pan. I used one of those 9 pans as my only palette for 3 years. You think you're a slow panner... 😏
You have to ask yourself; if I use this palette that means I will not use that palette and they might go bad and I’ld have to throw them out. Would you be okay with that? Like, if you focus on easier, you might have to get rid of something later that feels worse cause you ran out of time. Aah it is hard to explain 😢 Anyway as always, do what feels right.
I vote for Huda palettes. I think the shimmers gets pans nicely. And I have Amethyst too. Or my second choice would be Mac palettes. My first ever pan that palette was Mac 9 pans palette and I did use up 6 shades. It took all year, but it was still fun. I think that you could Love as many palettes as you can..so I think the Elf palette got all ready quite much❤
My vote would be pick whichever palette excites you the most, and do one of the coastal scents quads as your next baby pan that palette. 😊
I wanna see you do the hundred pan elf palette with the goal to hit pan in all the shades. Maybe with a bonus goal of finishing the purple column.
Your eye look today is so killer as well
That would be awesome
I think doing the Coastal Scents palettes + Elf 100 pan would satisfy both the PTP theme and Better Together, plus they would be very motivating and have higher chances of empty pans for your low buy. Can’t wait to see what you choose.
I was thinking the same! Especcially because they both have pans that would go quick due to their smaller size per shade
Totally agree!!
I would love to see you keep working on the elf 100 pan palette to see how much progress you can make!
Also, I definitely vote for the elf palette, it is so much fun seeing you pan such a huge palette ☺️
So many great choices- but it seems obvious to me you're most motivated by the ELF 100 and the Coastal Scents Quads. I say throw a quad in as a Better Together and find creative ways to use the heck out of all of them. When you finish 1 quad, roll the next in!

Love you Paula!
I second this brilliant idea in the first sentence!
I would do either the coastal scents or elf. The coastal scents could be your baby pan that palette!
Def voting for elf 100!!!
I vote for either the 100 pan palette or the two coastal scents quads.
Pan the ELF 100! Make one of the Coastal Scents the better together and when you finish it, you can roll the other one in. I'm rooting for you 🎉
I just said exactly this!
I second this as I think one of the Coastal Scents would be best rolled in as your baby PTP. I feel the end is in sight for that Smashbox duo early next year.
I’d say pan the elf palette & ONE of the coastal scents quads & stick the other one into your eyeshadow quads inventory. 🩷
100 elf palette 100%. ❤
Whatever you choose will be exciting to watch 😊 can you do a grwm inspired by characters in the books you're reading? I'd love to see that
That’s awesome that you’re enjoying books! Do what makes you happy!
I'm still catching up on other videos but I HAD to watch this as soon as I saw the notifications!
Don't feel bad. It's not that it was two 4 pan palettes - I think it was the choice of colours and then also the other shadows in other projects.

Coastal scents I’d use up and get them out. Don’t stress over what you use up. Eyeshadow takes a long time even those baby eyeshadows.
I love your lippie! I vote the Elf palette! Just to hit pan in the purple shades.
Maybe you should choose coastal scents palettes so you can have a successful pan-a-palette year and incorporate elf palette in other projects.
You should add book reviews to the end of one of your panning videos to pair together two things you enjoy- reading and makeup!
You should probably choose either the CS palettes or the elf 100 as they seem to be the easiest to pan. With some of the other palettes progress is going to be sparse and you could use easy low-buy points. Whatever you pick though is definitely going to be fun!! 😊

I would go with the elf 100 pan eyeshadow pallete, I think you have done an amazing job on it in 2022, I think this year you might have put too many eyeshadows in other projects and this might have distracted you from getting more use on pan that pallete
I would put the sample quads in other projects throughout the year
And panning toofaces is honestly too unrealistic, I had one of these but I would definitely only have usage goals on them whenever they are rolled in a project
Whichever one brings you joy, use it! If you need the confidence boost, go for the littles. A win for 2024 would be great!
Hi Paula, I m pro the 100 that you like so much and the tiny ❤ have a lovely holiday weekend 💞💞
It is NOT ridiculous! Do your small eyeshadow pans. 👍 A win is a win. 🙂
Paula I vote the two little ones and the elf one as the better together.

I think you should pan the 2 coastal scents palettes. Then, pull in shades from the elf palettes for projects to hit pan.
Ahhhhhhh my favourite video of the year!!! I just pressed play not seen a bean yet, I bet you pick a good one 😁😁😁
I love the idea of bringing back the 100 pan! I do also agree with some others though that you should also focus on a fancier or more high end palette to spread the love!! Especially if you pick one that has amazing shimmers they could complement each other perfectly :)) And the costal scents would be amazing for baby PTP
I think elf and the Huda purple are nice for ptp and the coastal scents for baby ptp
i love the idea of the coastal scents and you knocking it out of the park in 2024 but i also love that you are wanting to bring back the elf...i would love to watch you continue your way through that one LOVE!! coastal scents with the elf as the side palette for the year xo! merry christmas and happy new year
personally liked the mac palettes, i feel like out of all the options they are the most balanced combo, you get your neutrals and your purples. something that immediately threw me off w huda palettes is that they don't really have a deep brown or a similar neutral shade for the outer corner so you probably can't use just the two for a complete eye look in case you're wanting smth a bit less colorful :0 agree with letting the elf palette stay in a-z project and you can roll in one of the cs quads as a baby ptp whenever you finish the previous one!! excited to see what you pick
I remember really wanting a la mode, so I’m partial to that one.

I would pan the elf 100 like this it will help your low balance and then maybe you could rotate during the year the rest of the palets with the goal of maybe hitting pan in one shade or something like that
My vote is for the coastal scents quads! I would love to see you make great progress on those, the ELF 100 pan is so big to see real progress overall
I’d love to see you pan one or both of the Too faced palettes 🎨 😊
Thanks! I would love to as well!!
Hi beautiful Paula ❤ my vote is for the Morphe palette, variety is everything so you don’t get bored!
Do the Coastal Scents! It fits the theme and you need a win 😅
I won't mind doing a challenge but for me it takes the fun out of being creative with makeup. More to you for doing, once it is fulfilling ❤
You can always work on your giant one alongside but the quads could take priority to get them out :)
as a slow panner I vote for using the coastal scents mini's of elf palette makes you feel good to hit goals and then maybe put a couple of shadows from the other palettes in other projects so you can use them but not disappointed if you can't pan them
I'd say the elf or the huda, but if you do the Morphe, it would pair well with you Clinique matte quad from your current ptp. no?
I love the dark look
Omg Paula, if you’re that into romantasy you need to read Ilona Andrews! They are a wife-husband duo and both their romances and their plots are soooo goooood!
Do the 100 pan palette and a smaller shimmer palette or do the 100 pan palette plus a small z palette full of fun shimmers and chrome shadows!
I vote for the coastal scents.
I vote for the 100 elf palette as a ptp, along with a palette or singles of beautiful shimmers for the better together project
Ooohh!! I love the idea of pairing those two!
The costal scents is not a complete color range, what if you had those as your main focus with the elf as your supplement? You’re going to reach for it anyway, you may as well make it work for you :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR, PAULA! I choose the Elf palette.
WELCOME BACK!!! You have certainly been missed!!
I vote for either Huda or TF palettes. Maybe count your uses on every shadow from the palette you will choose - this way you will know if pans are hard to pan or just not used enough?
Plus in CS quads are 3 black eyeshadows...
Can I vote for the Coastal Scents? I mentioned a couple years ago in your inventory how easy they look to pan!
I hope you do the coastal scent quads. I think they will be the lowest stress to pan.
They are definitely top contenders!!
Romantasy is lovely. I’m currently stuck in reverse harem
I would vote for elf 100 as it seems that is where your heart lies. And as you say elf shadows are easier to pan. Mac eyeshadow is nearly impossible to pan. I used one of those 9 pans as my only palette for 3 years. You think you're a slow panner... 😏
Pick those little quads!
Yes!!! 💪
Sarah J Maas??? My book club crew are obsessed with these
i vote for the elf palette or those costalscents quads!
Thank you!!
I’m the same with reading. I’d rather do that than anything 😘
I’ve developed quite the addiction. 🫣
I would not say the TooFaced ones. They are so hard to hit pan in, let alone finish.
Funnily enough, but yt recommended that i watch your same video from 3 years ago... when you had purple hair
Toofaced Sugar Pop and the Huda Purple palette to quench that thirst 💜
New to your channel. I vote for the elf palette 😊
Thanks for subbing! I love that old ELF palette!!
You have to ask yourself; if I use this palette that means I will not use that palette and they might go bad and I’ld have to throw them out. Would you be okay with that?
Like, if you focus on easier, you might have to get rid of something later that feels worse cause you ran out of time. Aah it is hard to explain 😢
Anyway as always, do what feels right.
Anyone else stalking Paula's channel for her pan that palette intro?
(Hopefully) you won’t have to stalk after tomorrow!!
Yes fantasy and romanxe
I feel like coastal sense would also re-motivate you
Small eyeshadow please i want to see complate finished shadows
Maybe is it the best for you to pan the costa palette?
Too faced or MAC please.
A 2 Pam pallete
I vote for Huda palettes. I think the shimmers gets pans nicely. And I have Amethyst too. Or my second choice would be Mac palettes. My first ever pan that palette was Mac 9 pans palette and I did use up 6 shades. It took all year, but it was still fun. I think that you could Love as many palettes as you can..so I think the Elf palette got all ready quite much❤
