Yes! Say it again! ALL marquee vendors should automatically include extra lights, an extension chord, and weights (either sandbags, cinder blocks/bricks, or a back stand!). Alpha-Lit does an amazing job with this ☺️

I saw this trick to use wood clamps and that helps prevent the balloons from blowing backwards! Nice Work!
Yessss I seen those too! See the design I was “suppose” to do didn’t involve building on top of the marquees. Now, I may need to invest in them for backups when stuff like this happen. Thank you so much!

Omg!!! Then letters would have had to be moved onto the sidewalk in front of the house cause….. Whew!!! I would’ve been so over it lol!! You did a great job despite the hiccups. I saw a video where a lady used wood clamps on the marquees to attach the balloons
LOL! The letters was in the driveway before I arrived but they were falling still and the client didn’t want them to get damage that’s why they moved them to the grass area. Yes, I seen those too! Definitely need to invest and keep as backup for next go around. Thank youuuu lol

The foam board Marquee number and letters definitely require weights and or grass stakes
Yesss! Anything outdoor need weights, my opinion. These were the wood ones and they needed a ton of weights.
I went through the same thing this past week with a graduation set up. My numbers weren't tipping over because the company who set those up did a really good job, but my garland kept going towards the back and not looking the way I wanted them to, UGH!! Thank God I figured out how to finally attach the garland. I wish I had known about the clear Gaff tape. Is that tape okay to use on the marquee letters/numbers? Oh BTW your set up turned out so very pretty, I love it!! Thank you for sharing.
I understand completely! I noticed the same thing about my garland while I was setting up. I haven’t used the clear gaff on marquees yet but so far it’s been doing great on different surfaces so I’ll be using it next time. I don’t think it will cause any problems. Awe thank you so much! Lol oh I was so over it!!!! Yupp, I still price by the FT for this particular setup I charged for a 40FT Garland. Now, I try to charge between 8-10FT per marquee letter or number to get a design I like. You’re welcome🤍
