Brock really put that ref over giving him two F5s to put him down. Put HIM in the main event conversation.
Brock vs the ref fight pit at wrestlemania
@@mattrice3993 He's in 2k23 and his stats are so OP he's banned from tournaments.
BROCK. I WANT YOU AT MANIA. IN A FALLS. COUNT. ANYWHERE. MATCH
That ref was booked better than Kofi and Big E, and at least on par with Dean Ambrose against Brock.
I loved the Jey and Kevin spots in the main event. Jey isn't ready to turn on Roman, but he can't let Sami get brained with a chair. Kevin's still mad at Sami, but he's not gonna watch him get manslaughtered on live television.
I think Sami will probably hold the belt at some point but there are multi-time world champs who never had a month like the one Sami's had from Rumble to now.
I reckon we see the Kevin and Sami vs The Usos night 1 of Wrestlemania to open the show, The Usos end up losing the belts because they can't get on the same page, and for the rest of nights 1 and 2 we see little pieces here and there if The Bloodline finally crumble, leading into Cody beating a distraught, alone Roman who has lost the respect of his family.
Have The Usos reconcile with one another in the wake of that night and take the belts back from Kevin and Sami in a face team vs face team match, and have Solo go on to take the US belt from whoever has it after Wrestlemania to further cement how Roman no longer belongs on the Island Of Relevancy. Maybe Roman starts taking Ls from the people he beat before, including Sami, with Seth being the last to beat him but almost appealing to his former friend to pull up from this nosedive he's in.
@@Joe90h I think an underdog Roman run will be one of the best things we get out of this.
You make great faces by dragging them through the mud a bit, and Roman as the exiled king would be a fantastic arc to humanize him.
@@TheSuckoShow People seem to think Sami was the main character of this story, and if it's not him then it's a story about Cody that's being told badly. Roman has always been the main character.
Some fans perceive Cody as being 'hand picked' and think WWE are brute forcing his win at Wrestlemania, but in my opinion that actually makes Roman losing to him extremely ironic. And I'm a sucker for the downfall of a villain being ironic.
Now I just hope WWE actually figure out what the hell they're doing with Bray Wyatt.
@Joe Homer I thought Bray said he got winner of Lashley/Lesnar so I'm thinking triple threat at Mania
Yeah, so here would be a cool story: Cody vs Roman at WM, Roman/Jimmy go to cheat, Sammy stops them allowing Cody to win...Rematch is at KotR in June where Cody wins with shenanigans, triple threat at summerslam with sami cody and roman, jey finally turns on roman allowing sami to pin roman, and cody has a rematch at some point(maybe survivor series). They key to this is both Sami eventually winning but keeping cody strong, so cody has to win decisively in the non roman matches.
At some point they could do a babyface vs babyface match with sammy and cody, but you risk one outshinning the other so they have to be careful how they book that.
After Roman goes away for a while, you could do Roman vs Rock at next WM. At this point, Roman off TV for a while is a good thing. He's a great heel but everyone needs a break to let the fans miss you.
Sami's 12 second pin, phew. Who cares about the title, Sami did it.
Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn letting the fans soak in the moment for as long as they did before making a single move toward each other was masterful!
Reigns is getting to that John Cena level of working a crowd, they were in the palm of his hand and didn't even know it.
It was wonderful haven’t seen anything like that since Danielson and omega in New York
Roman has gotten REALLLLLY GOOD!
Workrate fanatics : "NOT ENOUGH MOVEZ! ZERO STARZ!" lol
By contrast, our stream was laughing our asses off at how long it was. Everyone seems ga-ga over this bloodline story but to me it's just been rehashed to death and Roman just can't wrestle. Softest spear in the game, very limited in the ring, just a relentless marketing push.
Something else to keep in mind for Sami. Roman and the Bloodline have cheated to win in the past sure, but when's the last time where they won the match but still got sent running by the good guys? When was the last time a premium event where Roman defended his title(s) didn't end with him standing tall as his music played? The fact that they let Kevin and Sami have that small but important victory not only plays into the narrative that the Bloodline is facing its end, but I think speaks volumes of their trajectory. Sure, they may have come up short, but this is not the last time these two will be in the world title picture by a long shot.
I hope not, but I'm really not sure where Sami goes from here. I guess he is tagging with KO or something.
Zayn never apologized man, You do more for this channel then we all ask for
Do It For The Content
I love how they tried to make Drew a "Hometown guy" in a completely different country lmao. Celtic brotherhood I guess?
Drew is like Andy Murray, British when he wins but Scottish when he loses
It worked though, Clash drew a lot of money. Same as Sami drew a ton of money for EC
I’d like to think Kevin was at home watching the event and drove/ran to the arena when Jimmy showed up. Lol
LOL I have passed by his town of Marieville, and it's about 45 minutes away. Maybe if he was very lucky with traffic and the red lights.. LOL :)
@@toptenguy1 maybe Kevin Owens knows a shortcut lol
I like this new „gimmick“ of Lesnar just throwing tantrums and killing people 😂
Johnny coming out with Bluey inspired gear was great to see
“Big boys bumping meat”- Brian Zane
That phrase was said first by Big E I believe
Yeah, even though it was only a little over 4 minutes it felt like Sami & Roman were trying to set some kind of record for longest time from bell to touching up.
It kind of reminded me of Hogan / Rock.
It really worked for me and my girlfriend too- who is a complete casual, it was her second ever show and she bought into Sami and the atmosphere entirely.
They got a long way to go. In 2020 Go Shiozaki and Kazuyuki Fujita fought for GHC Championship, they stared at each other for almost 30 minutes. And then wrestled for another 27.
@@paulgibbon5991 Goldberg and Lesnar at WM XX
Piper said he once had a match with Greg Valentine where they didn’t lock up for 25 minutes and still had the fans in the palm of his hand.
Heyman is so freaking good because his reaction when Jey was holding the chair was very subtle but perfect. Roman turned his back on Jey after giving him the chair to see what he would do. If you watch Heyman at ringside you can see that he is watching Jey the whole time and he knows exactly why Roman turned his back on Jey. That's the whole test he gave Sami and now he did it to Jey but with inconclusive answers this time around.
Judgement Day definitely feels like it's in its final phase right now. Damian's strong showing in the Chamber reminds us he's a strong singles competitor, Rhea needs to outgrow the faction for her singles run, maybe taking Dom with her as a lackey, and there's gotta be something better for Finn to do. JD was fun but it feels like it's served its purpose.
Agreed. Maybe Finn moves to Smackdown to take on Gunther for the IC title?
@@kdubbss0583 yeah. They don't even have to break up JD.
I agree, it’s given more exposure to Damien and Rhea. Let Dom get experience as a heel and let Finn be a dick like he was in NJPW.
@@kdubbss0583 they were teased to face each other for the NXT UK Title before UK having travel restrictions years ago... could be a way to introduce Badass Tweener Balor again
Looks like they are going to get Rhea away from JD by having her beat Charlotte at Mania. That way they don't have to do some stupid break up angle. Also, that would put Dom in a place without Mami around and he becomes MORE unbearable. Just a thought.
BZ, you have really helped me form my opinion of wrestling over the past few years. You take wrestling juuuust serious enough, but not enough to not let yourself have fun. Youvw showed your fanbase how to just enjoy wrestling, in any form
Why are you letting someone else form your opinion for you?
I usually form my own opinions, but they do tend to crystallize better after I watch Zane. So much of the internet is just negative whining, this guy is positive and enjoyable to watch, and he makes good points, too.
@@justoneguy2487 i said he helped form it, not completely form it. Are you saying youve never been influenced by someone else ideas?
@@austinsmith7731 not on the topic of wrestling, no. Pro wrestling has one of the stupidest, most toxic fandoms out there.

For sure Sami has a handful of five-star matches!

Plugging AEW video game? Lol
I thought Carmella was going to win. But i’m glad Asuka win. She is so damn sexy.
How could I forget? In my hometown! First time I ever heard that chant. I think we originated it
Idk how people rank a match or what contributes to a star rating but Sami vs Cena was great too.
This was a great show, the men's chamber and main event were fantastic. Enjoyed Sami getting his moment and there's lots of interesting story beats that were teased in that match, just hoping that the result doesn't cause people to turn on Cody (I'm convinced that won't happen given the promo that happened on the last Raw episode, but you never know)
I hope they do turn on Cody. Sami should be World Champion right now, but WWE can't book matches

With the women's eliminaton chamber match and with Liv Morgan I noticed there's a recurring theme where she doesn't really tap out from submissions but passes out
Yeah some weren't a fan of how Liv got eliminated since it should have been her and Asuka as the final two but Liv passing out from the submissions kept her strong in the end so I didn't have a problem with it.
They keep protecting her. It never ends
9/10 event. Great show. I liked both Chamber winners. The weakest match was Lesnar/Lashley. The mixed tag was fun. Match of the Night was the main event. The right one won ☝️.
Loved this PPV, some buddies and I came back from a Brazilian steakhouse, drinks in hand, good dessert, and watched this PPV. Had a great time, really fun matches. I've been down on wrestling for a couple years, but the Zayn-bloodline story had me invested.
My wife and I drove up from NY to Montreal for the event. My wife's first show and technically my third, though I hadn't been to one since Raw in 2000.
We had a ball. To say that the crowd was excited for Sami would be an insane understatement. The mood was totally visceral. The whole night, including the main event itself, was filled with "Ole Ole Ole" and "Fuck You, Roman" chants. The crowd was so excited for Sami's original music and the sing-along was deafening.
We were first row in the nosebleed directly opposite of the hard cam. We loved our seats but couldn't see a lot of what was going on in the cage. No idea about the choking spots in the women's match until now. We also couldn't see the crazy Seth / Johnny spot as it happened, but we had a great view of Montez's big spot.
Somebody had also hung a big Sami banner directly in front of our seats. Apparently it was covering the digital arena display below and partway through the show, the staff came by and turned the banner up, which was annoying because it partly blocked the view.
The men’s Chamber match was excellent. The electric chair poisonrana and hurricanrana from the top of the pod were scary moments. Loved when Seth and Johnny smashed Theory’s head into the pod glass and loved that Bronson Reed looked like a monster.
I was blown away by the men’s chamber match. I genuinely said “Wow!” Out loud at least a dozen times.
That was a great match. I was screaming at Theory to push that lift of Reed when he was struggling.
Apparently the second F5 to the ref was unplanned, big surprise
That second F5 went into business for itself
@@CollegeBallYouknow someone’s gotta put it over
Sometimes the greatest stories in literature, TV/Film, Video Games, and Wrestling do not have happy endings. This storyline with Sami is so amazing.
Savages film sucks
Sami v. Roman reminded me of a quote you once said on a classique review: “they could stand there and pick their noses for 10 minutes, and it would get a ‘this is awesome’ chant”.
That Rollins and Lynch skit was awesome. Becky had me laughing with the man cave line.
I loved elimination chamber! My only question is bray was calling out Brock and Bobby so are they setting up a triple threat or how is that gonna work out now with that finish
Bobby technically won so I guess that means Bray will go after him
I hope Bray doesn't go after either of them, working with Bray only makes you look weak.
@@spiderjerusalem100 Depends on the performer. Somehow LA Knight is even more over against all odds.
Granted, not everyone is as talented as him, but the point still stands.
@@spiderjerusalem100 Brock Vs Bray is ideal for Bray to get that big Mania win. Brock pretty much loses now more than he wins, and his star power doesn't diminish.
This crowd for the main event was one of the most memorable things in wrestling I can remember.
The one thing I have to say about wrestling is just because it was predictable that doesn't mean it was the wrong decision to make. There was a lot of "of course this person is winning" for this event but seriously it's understandable with how WM should be set up
It was definitely the wrong decision
@@ericb9252 what was "the wrong decision" exactly?
@@jamesrobinson4042 Sami should've won and be facing Cody

@@jamesrobinson4042 No, Sami is. Cody is not
johnny gargano and montez ford were the mvb of the match
Still think it’ll be Theory and Cena at mania, and what will become of Wyatt’s message to Lashley and Lesnar? Other than that, fully agree with the commentary and review.
I love your videos man. It's embarrassing how much I've watched your content the last however many years.
For the women's elimination chamber, i thought it would have been better had the final two been Natalya/Raquel and Asuka. They could have kept it a bit more unpredictable - Natalya with her homefield advantage/Raquel with her power stretching Asuka till the end. Once liv got eliminated, it was obvious.. Other than that another great show
What homefield? Alberta and Quebec are two different provinces. 🤣
Dominik Mysterio is this generation's Vicky Guerrero!
I love the fact that Sami, Cody, and Jey all seemingly will have incredibly significant roles in Roman's downfall.
Jey's the one to refuse to bow down and continue to do Roman's dirty work, which allowed Sami to be the one to finally put a crack Roman's armor, which will allow Cody to be the one to beat Roman and put an end to his run.
All 3 guys will have had equally important parts in bringing down Roman. It's get all 3 of them super-over instead of just 1. I love that.

Montez Ford with the Batman spot, off the top of the Chamber!
Also montez attempting the people's elbow was hilarious

With any luck, if they're going to do ANOTHER Lashley/Lesnar match for Mania, Lashley will make his 18th Face/Heel turn in the past 12 months leading up to it.
Somewhere Paul Wight looks at Lashley proudly
We're getting Lesnar vs Omos instead.
FuckIRegretEverythingISaidPleaseGoBackWeCanStillFixThis
Due to the Elimination Chamber being in the rafters. The Center video board was pulled all the way into the ceiling and therefore there were no screens to watch the live action or replays. Most likely why there wasn’t a pop on these moments as the crowd unless right there facing it from the floor wouldn’t get the same exposure to the moves.
Couldn’t agree more, knew going in there was no way Sami would win but his close call kickouts etc gave me a bit of hope he’d actually pull out the W. They got me. Loved it.
I don't keep up with wrestling these days, but I do watch some PPV's every so often. Have to say I really enjoyed the Elimination Chamber matches, those matches can be pretty dull sometimes. Zayn vs Reign was enjoyable, as much for the storytelling and atmosphere. Overall a very enjoyable show.
Would be really great to see a match between Montez and Logan.. their athletic abilities are top notch!
I don't mind waiting a few days for ple reviews. Quality is more important than speed. 🤔
I hope the POW event went well too.
I was there on friday Smackdown and at Elimination Chambers. Good moments. Even if we all knew Sami would lose to Roman, at some point, we did believe he could win during the match
The Women’s Chamber match was fun. The order of eliminations was a bit weird (Liv and Asuka had the story going into this match and they had they staredown on SD, they should have been the final two imo). But still the right woman won and Asuka vs. Bianca should be awesome.
Speaking of awesome, Liv was just there in this match. And she was over as well. I hope Triple H has something good for her at Mania.
Brock vs. Bobby was solid, but it had a meh finish.
The Mixed Tag was a lot of fun. Rhea and Beth stole the show. I want to see them one on one at some point.
The Men’s Chamber was also very good. Everyone looked good there. And it had a great finish as well.
Becky-Bat and Joker-Seth was hilarious.
The ME went as expected. Jey NOT turning was a nice wrinkle. And now the Mania road is clear.
Really fun show overall.
the mens champer should’ve gotten ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this was the best champer match since i kidd you not 2002

Never apologize, Brian. You're the hardest working content creator/uploader of all.
Yeah when they were putting the heads out of the cage. None of us at the live show were really into it. The crowd wanted the high spots.
It just felt that we were all just so excited for Sami. The PPV was amazing!
Great explanation on why KO didn’t come out earlier. I was questioning that too
It would've been cool if they gave Sami the win. It would've truly been shocking. Plus the interaction with Sami and cody on Monday night Raw. I think it would make for a better story and wrestling match.
I'll contend that Heyman bump from the stunner was perfect for how Heyman would take a Stunner.
Finally someone gets it right. Kevin wasn't going to save Sami right away. Storyline wise he does not trust Sami yet! Great story telling and setting up Jay turning in Sami for the spear. Did you really believe that Sami was gonna win people? Hunter did the same thing in NXT in 2014. It took Sami 3 or 4 times before becoming NXT Champion. Also Brock vs. Bobby wasn't going to end until Wrestlemania (I knew that and am surprised that everyone else didn't); HELL IN A CELL is the end of the road. Prediction from a wise man.
Because Lesnar attacked the referee twice in this match. I do predict that they will do some sort of special guest ref stipulation for Mania and it will be no holds barred/no DQ with a big name as the only one bold enough to step in with Lesnar and Lashley and maintain order.
thats a great point... maybe someone like Batista, or maybe a big name from UFC
Stone Cold will be the ref
@@LoganHunter82 more than likely he would be the safe and obvious choice. Pretty much I was thinking the same thing.
return of Daniel Cormier?
@@LoganHunter82 Stone Cold didnt cross my mind... i was thinking in terms of location (LA)...... we've seen austin ref a handful of matches.... he really didnt add anything to any of them. hes even already ref'd brock!!! that great WM 20 match =P
In my opinion, it would have made more sense if it was Dominic & Rhea Vs. Edge & Beth. It might not have been as good (who’s to say), but they could have had Finn try & interfere but Rey saves Edge & Beth or you could even have Dom & Rhea win & they attack Edge & Beth afterwards with Rey saving them leading to Dom & Rey at WrestleMania. I think Cody Vs. Finn would have been cool as well
At 5:22 I know you said Beth Phoenix’s facepaint is a reference to Bull Nakano but I’m pretty sure it’s a reference to Luna Vachon since they’re in Canada. Plus, her hair.
(I suppose it could also be a Mojo Rawley reference too).
The WWE haven't had an organic babyface like Sami in a long time. They had something when Seth beat Lesnar but spoiled it by adding The Fiend and Becky got red hot after turning heel on Flair and the potato incident cemented her status - but then she went on maternity leave and the WWE REALLY wanted that Becky as heel character (whether fans wanted it or not) upon her return.
While Cody is the newest sensation, feeding off of the tribalism of wrestling fans ("He left the competition to come back home!"), how long before fans turn on him like they did in AEW?
Sami is too big, too hot right now to be wasted in the midcard but does the WWE have anything in the main event scene for a Mick Foley-type?
Montez sold really well in his injury spot to get the door open for Logan
The Chamber matches were both in the upper tier of Chamber matches for each of them, all 12 wrestlers really went for it.
Beth probably had her best match right there, a little bit of a miscue with breaking up the pin but she looked fantastic.
Lashley vs Lesnar for Mania is even more interesting now that Bray Wyatt challenged the winner on Smackdown so perhaps a triple threat?
I knew Sami wasn't winning, of course he wasn't but god damn if they didn't make me believe for just one second. Roman has become the absolute master of kicking out a 2.9999999 just to make you think his opponent has got him. I just hope they can keep the fan support for both Sami and Cody going into Mania and not run into a Daniel Bryan-style situation.
I brought that up with my friend while we were watching EC. Roman has figured out how to time getting the shoulder up at the last millisecond.
Am I the only one disappointed that Roman didn't tap into the nuclear heat by putting Sami Zayn in the Sharpshooter to win the match
EC was honestly great... Lesnar v Bobby was a weird finish with Bray on SD but I loved the main event.... I liked the ending of the match. Montreal was supposed to be deflated... Idk why anyone outside of Montreal would hate it. A star was made in Sami.... What should of happened was a hug between Sami and KO after. Now this is what I'd do because Sami although 1000% deserving deserves to be added to a triple threat but then it fucks over 4 other ppl in Cody, KO, and The Usos... So Have KO and Sami beat the Usos headlining night 1 at WM and night 2 is Cody beating Roman. Have Sami beat Roman at SS ( doesn't need to be for the championship... We're building Sami even more to it... ) At War Games we have either DIY or FTR beat KO and Sami then KO turns on Sami NXT debut style... At the RR KO beats Cody for the Championship and Sami wins the RR. At WM 40 we get KO v Sami for the Championship and Sami wins... First time either main events Wrestle Mania is in a 2+ year ( honestly pre WWE ) long story. If ever to pull the trigger on the big match between them that's it. Within this 23-24 build Cody KO and Sami to be mega stars.... Then you got Roman, Brock, Bobby, Drew, Edge, Seth, Bray that's a healthy ME scene... Then you got The Usos, Solo, Big E, Orton and Riddle when their back, Strowman, Logan Paul lol, Gargano, Ciampa, Finn, AJ, Walter, Sheamus, Kross, LA Knight and many others mens side is stacked... WWE just let people get over to make stars like Sami and Cody that did so for themselves and WWE made the road easy for them to do it. Let stars get into serious interwoven deeper not child cookie cutter stories and ppl will come to watch. Ratings show ppl want to watch wwe when its worth watching
Edge beats theory tmrw. which allows Theory vs Cena, Rollins vs Paul and Balor vs Edge for the US Championship at Wrestlemania 🫡
Am I the only one who thought that Montez Ford not doing From the Heavens from the top of a pod was a huge missed Chamber moment?
Going in, I thought for sure he was going to do that at some point but the upside-down drop from the roof made up for it.
His Spiderman splash was epic though
I like your triple threat idea better than Theory vs Cena.
I also find it crazy too how amazingly this long term story telling has been with Sami and the Bloodline... But also it perfectly lines up to have his big title match in Montreal in front of his home town fans. Perfect stuff
I rewatched Brian Zane’s XFL video this weekend in honor of The XFL returning
Loved your positive review, honestly this was the best B show PLE in ages. BEst ELimintation Chamber show in years too. Only one dud match but it was covered up by 2 great Chamber matches and a fun intergender tag. Just wish the Womens chamber had more time. All 6 men feel elevated from that match, where as only Asuka and Liv feel elevated from theirs. Liv passing out from 2 Submissions and did some crazy spots.
One thing though is Solo didn’t show up, he was the only Bloodline member to stay home and watch on TV. I’ve been trying to think back to if there was something that happened that he would have seen on TV
This show was an A show. Brock and lashley wasn’t great, but it was still fun. Easily one of the best overall PPV I’ve seen in awhile.
Brian, I'm surprised you didn't touch on the promo Bray cut on Lashley and Lesnar the night before on SD. I wonder how he's going to play into it. I think either a triple threat or Bobby and Lesnar vs. Bray and Howdy

Big ups to the Montreal crowd for making those last two matches feel extra electric!
I went with my pals and I can tell you one thing that hindered our entire night is that there was no proper display at all in the arena, they had to remove the traditional big screen at centre ice because of the elimination chamber, but they didnt add any more elsewhere in the rafters, the only time we saw stuff was on the big LED at the entrance but that was few and far between, as well as our view was blocked by the curve of the LED
Sami vs Roman is the new version of HHH vs Mick Foley with Cody being the Rock just in terms of having weekly promos that's going to propel him into being the guy.
i dont watch weekly so i may be wrong but for me i think a cooler idea would be have ford vs austin theory for the us belt and have logan vs seth as another match as i think with logan being a part timer it wouldnt be a good idea to give him the belt but even if they did still wouldnt be as bad as arquette winning the big gold in wcw haha
I think if the crowd chanted for KO they would've sent him out earlier
I think Brock Lesnar intentionally lost a match in order to avoid facing Bray Wyatt. The women's Elimination Chamber match was great, especially Raquel Rodriguez about Liv Morgan, and Asuka's performance.
uncensored 2000 yes!
No need to apologise bro great to hear wrestling scenes are doing well!
I don't believe we are getting a US Title triple threat match. I believe we are getting Seth vs Logan Paul one on one and Theory defending the US title vs John Cena.
I only seen the last 2 matches, mens Elimination chamber was awesome! Best chamber match in a long time.
Main event was done really well. Sami showed he can be a top guy. Lot of big near falls.
In the press conference after the show, Triple H commended 5/6 participants by name from the men's chamber match, as well as Logan Paul, but made no mention of Ford. Really wound me up, the dude deserved credit
Possibly forgot if the various “ummms” acting as filler for his sentences are an indication.
He tweeted after the presser that Montez is a star so while it would have been nice to mention him during the press conference he did give him his flowers.
The CZcams replays have been censoring the guy in the front row in the pink hat for some reason. What was his deal?
I honestly didn’t think Sami would win but he is the first contender in at least the last year that I thought he could win
Men's chamber sets up Seth vs Logan, and hopefully Theory vs Ford
I take it you didn't see Smackdown the previous night where Bray Wyatt called out the winner of the Brock/Bobby match. It seems we're getting Bray Wyatt vs. Bobby Lashley at Wrestlemania.
He said 'whoever survives'. Brock was the last man standing. I think its Brock vs Wyatt
I'm still holding out hope for Brock/Gunther, so I would be fine with Bray/Lashley.
@@toptenguy1 I think the story works better with Lesnar. Bray could talk about how to become 'a beast' you must destroy a beast. There was that whole tease in 2016. etc.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show, but one thing that kinda annoyed me is how Jey seemingly vanished after that spear. We didn't see him again.
I still don't understand why Raquel and Liv didn't make it to the final two. Especially because Michael Cole literally mentions her Royal Rumble performance as soon as she comes out. Not to mention it would have made the ending slightly less predictable
Yeah, Carmella really shouldn't have been in the final 2. I honestly don't even think she should've been in the match over Viper, who's a leagues better wrestler.
@No Its Patrick I said the exact same thing when she won the qualifying match. Piper Niven would have been a better choice for this match, especially if her and Raquel had crossed paths
@speedy932 key My thoughts exactly. Why they decided to put Carnella in this match when they had the chance to display two of their most physically imposing females against one another is beyond me. Both are better in ring performers, present a more believable final challenge for Asuka, and seek to gain more from being in that position.
It also seems counterintuitive to what they're doing with Piper. They're (seemingly) trying to build her up, but don't put her on the show where she could get massive exposure and showcase what she can do. Piper could've easily had a Montez Ford like performance here and have been the standout wrestler in the match (I mean, just imagine her doing a splash of the pod). Huge missed opportunity imo.
@No Its Patrick I feel like Piper would have gotten the Bronson Reed treatment, where she would take everyone out like a monster before taking a barrage of finishers. Although her doing a splash off the pod would have been awesome, the only person I can see taking that spot is Raquel
