I really miss old DnB, the stuff today is great but I notice most of them basically have the same drum loop or other instrument in the background whereas I find a lot more variety in the stuff from back in this era.
That's because they're trying to move away from chopping up sampled drum breaks and using their own original kicks, snares and such, but sadly they keep sameish patterns.
