HALDI KUMKUM CELEBRATION 2024, organized by Ladies Wing on 18.02.2024 at Utkarsh School, Malad

Haldi Kumkum is a ceremony performed by the Hindu savashins (married women) at their own house on a convenient day (of their own choice) falling within the period of the Haldi Kumkum season (Makar Sankranti to Ratha Saptami ).
Shree Varamahalaxmi Pooja Samiti, Malad has been organizing the Haldi Kumkum function, the culture of hindus sanatani dharma from year 2022.
This year the 3rd annual Haldi Kumkum programme was organized by Ladies wing under the Chairperson Smt. Rathnavathi Dinesh Kulal and Presided by Adv. J.N.Shetty on 18th Feb. 2024 at Utkarsh school Malad.
The event began with the Deepa Prajawana ceremony and bhajane seva from the ladies wing committee members followed by kunita bhajane performed by the youth wing.
Sabha karyakrama with wonderful and intellectual speeches from the committe members along with felicitaion to the donates along with 3 lucky draws winners for the sarees sponsored by Kaushik Silk Sarees, Virar electrified the event
Funny and interesting games for the people was well planned and conducted by the energetic youth wing with MC Sudeep Poojary and Laasya Kulal. The auspicious celebration of haldi kumkum programme followed with more then 256 ladies participating in the programme with the committee members applying haldi Kumkum and exchanging greatings with each other and enjoying the envy. Overall the event was a huge success and a memorable one with delicious dinner.
