I've found this song inexplicably stuck in my head the past day or two, so I reasonably just... covered it. Why not. In a day.
For "There's so many things that you'll never understand / So come to me, we can change night into day / You'll hold my hand so you'll never go astray", I used a slight accent just. Because.
ANYWAYS I hope you enjoy this cover as much as I had fun making it. And thanks to GHOST for providing me with the harmonies for the song (cuz boy I wouldn't have finished today without them).

So few voice providers for VOCALOIDs- English ones particularly- are revealed to the public, sadly, and even fewer are actually part of the community.
The voices of Dex (me), Daina (Empath-P), and Ruby (Mishakeet)- we've all been part of the community for a long time, actually, and we're extremely grateful to have had the opportunity. We're all showing our appreciation in different ways, though.

Uhhh, it’s very cool and very great as a conversation piece. It’s fun talking to people who have trouble processing the words “robot made from my voice” when it comes up.
More serious though, it’s super awesome (to voice a VOCALOID) and absolutely the high point of my career as a musician to this point. Also super validating as a vocalist, since it was sort of an audition-process.

For those who don't understand the context: this is what I've got :)
Our Main character (Norman) is being isolated from the world by his father, who believes the world is a nightmare and the only way to escape is to die. So Father kills his wife out of 'mercy '. Norman realizes the extent of his father's abuse, and it affects him mentaly. He starts doing drugs and self harm to numb the pain, and questions if the world is real or if it is just a simulation ( "The tied up moth seemed to know a different way", the moth representing Norman).
Soon he encounters god, who confirms Norman's beliefs and suspicions about the world. The moth chained to his hand represents the blind trust he has over Norman. The devouring of Father is symbolic of God now being a mentor of Norman.
He then meets the spider, Charon, who gives Norman an easy way out of said simulation (as I explained, the only way to escape the world is death, he still believes his father's words to some extent). "To get out of here is to promise me a kiss". Charon was earlier explained with poison lips, meaning with a simple kiss, Norman can easily die and be set free and 'woken up'
Later, it is revealed that God is not as kind as he promised to be, and 'waking him up', ripped open his real body to entertain the angels. The Angel we get a close up on is Norman himself, watching as his body is being torn open for entertainment.
Creepy, I know. But overall, The song is a complete bop, especially this cover. 100/10

I’ve listened to this so many times and while your normal singing voice sounds like a higher pitched Dex (as to be expected from the voice provider lol) I especially love 1:15 because you sound exactly how Dex does in the original and it really blows my mind.
