"I stalked that deer like an idiot.." my thoughts on nearly every stalk I've ever had.. Lol!
Still waiting for Remi’s return to the JRE podcast. I always enjoy hearing about his hunting adventures while I’m working. A great way to help pass the time.
I just listened to the one he's in on Randy Newberg's Podcast. You should check it out, it was pretty good!
Agree really enjoy when he has hunters on
Always appreciate your tenacity. Bow hunting is tricky enough. Having your hunt filmed makes it so much tougher. Then there's Remi, who self-films... exponentially tougher to the point of madness. And yet he manages to get it done on a regular basis. The hard work shows, job well done!
"One of these times it will work" The bowhunters mantra! Great video, thanks.
Great hunt Remi....tough breaks. Thanks for filming and letting us follow along!
Dude. Remi...I don’t know how you have the discipline to hunt like that with a camera. You are a boss man, keep doing what you do, I love all of your content, it is very inspiring.
Disappointed you didn't get your shot, but your open honesty and reality is great. The lessons in your failures are pure gold. Looking forward to the next upload. Thank you
He said, one day I’m going to to say I’m stalking a big one and the next clip will be of me and a a big one🤣🤣!!! I can only imagine doing the camera work on top of the stalk, impressive Remi!
I thoroughly enjoy each of your videos...successful (with kill) or not. Beats the heck out of network TV!! You have great endurance on such shows!!
Appreciate the realistic stories of success and defeat! Keep up the good work, Remi! Enjoy all of your vids.
Remi keep up the good work you are my idol and because of you and watching your vids iv become a better solo hunter and I can't wait to see the rest of your hunts good luck man 👊
Man I get it all my dad had me hunting the same way when I was young and it was all or nothing and I didn’t punch a tag during archery for twelve straight seasons in northern Nevada but I definitely pursued some giants and won’t forget it
I absolutely love that actual reactions of failure that you guys incorporate into the production!!!!!
Remi, what a true scholar of an individual. You are single handily, showing hunters what it means to hunt. Keep rockin it and I’ll continue to follow. God Bless....
Great trip....thanks for putting in the effort and teaching alone the way!
Love all your videos and content. Your instagram stories have been my favorite thing to watch lately! Thanks man
Great filming. Feel like I was riding along side through out the whole hunt. Thanks.
So cool, thanks for another great film.
Great video, I applaud you for your patience and dedication
Dude. You are a gnarly hunter man with a ton of patience my hat is off to you. I love at 16:35 the moon shot with the buck walking away. Idk how many people noticed it but I sure did. Wow!
Sure did. Great shot
I hate hunters but truly enjoy your videos, you are not a bloody murderer, thank you for respecting the wildlife!
Many props for staying on point. Very enjoyable video with stud bucks
Enjoyed this video a lot, Remi. Nice to see real hunting videos where the hunter doesn't always succeed.
Thanks remi for posting this video, I'm a new hunter and it's important for me to see that sometimes even the pros don't strike. Omw to a sheep hunt here in hawaii right now... for me, just being in the mountains is great in itself, if i catch something then it's just a plus! Happy hunting!
What a legend. So much patience.
And I will be ok with it too Remi. Sometimes you got to do what you got to do. It's about the deer. Great video as usual.
Hey Remi, you're the man. Love your hunts. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. I too am from Reno. My dad and I pulled area 203 this year. Any pointers you could throw my way would be much appreciated. It's the late season down there; mid December. Thanks again.
look forward to you coming back to New Zealand for more hunting
Love solo hunter good stuff
18 days with no deer?
That is bruuuuutal brooo
Skunked again! I can really identify. I like his honesty. Plenty of hunting shows are like highlight reels, giving the false impression that there's this roving banquet of meat parading around in the woods.
That first buck... Wow. 200 all day I'd say
Great video 👍
I don't mean to say this to be rude but damn you got a big set of Nads good luck and be safe
You almost need to make a small noise or shuffle the gravel to get him to stand up. Better of a chance instead taking a chance on the wind
The first buck was pushing 180-200". Almost cartoonish those antlers.
Thats why you bring hotdogs and a fishing pole lol
Bet you wish you had your cheat stick for those mate, great vid.
You the man Remi.....😎
Cool video... make me wanna go out in the wilderness and click out of work
Hell yes!
He knows so much
Spot and stalk with bow on nearly any critter is a major challenge and a great accomplishment when you succeed. Using a rifle practically makes it a no brainer. That's why I stopped hunting game animals with a rifle. The bow is so much more rewarding. For me it requires a different mindset altogether. I believe the key word is PATIENCE. One thing I've learned over 50 years of hunting is to just FORGET the clock. Don't refer to time in your mind. Do what's necessary with no thought on how long will this be, how long until he gets up?, Take it as it comes.
That first buck you saw was a slob!
I learned never to wait it out - be aggressive and putting your faith in a consistent wind = failure.
What would you, as a fellow hard hunter, recommend for a starter out camera to get some decent footage?
18 days..... dang...
You might try to blurr you physical shape and the tripod/camera as well with some type of 3d camouflage stuff.
I thougth it was just me...this is my normal hunt, with a similar outcome, but without his pretty positive attitude.
👍👍
Is it a thing to drive game towards you by sending a rock or arrow to the other side of them?
19:48 AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH
19:28?
hai rem ,troy here from indonesia..wht ur doing is hard man...we hunt here from cars with a lot of caddies to help us around...wht ur doing is a dream for us all ..keep the good hard hunting on ..we enjoy...regards from perbakin jakarta club magnum...
Can u pls tell me where to hunt in navada
2 weeks wow I would've been done quit aftER 3 days.
I drew a Nevada archery tag this year and had trouble finding deer, so I'm wondering if you're prioritizing areas near water?
which stocking booties are those? I need to invested in a pair.
@@WildAmericanVeteran just get a pair of water socks and blew a piece of carpet on them very light and inexpensive
that rack was huge!!! 3:48 he still had velviate
I wonder why he switched from spot hogg to mbg?
I like Remi
I notice over the years you have drawn a number of NV mule deer tags. Any advice on drawing NV archery mule deer tags?
Aaron Beavers yes pay a bunch of money for someone's tag
He is a Nevada resident so that helps increase the opportunities to hunt his home State.
People pay silly money e.g sponsors and stuff
Why camouflage is that
Who in heavens name can hunt for eighteen days!!!!!!!!!!!
Loose interest for sure. My first thought was, "Hell of a hunter right there." Can't help but be a fan....
Yea Remi I think you are right in the end, stop worrying about kill shots! The kill shot is the least important part of the adventure, in my opinion.
Well if you look at it like this every time you go out with the camera you’re 100% successful with your shooting of a deer all be it that doesn’t put it in the freezer
Please no music. Otherwise great content much appreciated!
Invest in a Body Cam so you dont have to mess with the camera when your stalking the animal.
Tripod.....shit...LOL
Anybody knowwhat type of stalking slippers those are? @ 9:55
www.underarmour.com/en-us/ua-silent-stalker/pid1250120
Those should be it
Just buy a pair of water socks and glue a piece of carpet on the bottom light and inexpensive
Anyone know what those things he's putting on his feet while stalking are? It looks like an under armour product but I can't find what they are
I'm also curious about these, I live in AZ and wool socks aren't enough to protect your feet out here.
Mike Jarratt I figured out they are an old under armour product they dont make them anymore. Rimrock stalker shoes are the other one I know of
I know I eyeball those also I use the " Sneaky Pete's" when in Arizona.
they are kind of like an aqua sock.
I think he is wearing Under Armour Silent Approach boots. I prefer Sneektec.com's sneek boots. They fit on your boot and don't require all the on & off Warren is doing.
watching with my 3week old granddaughter,i think she likes it.
What are those sock thing he just put on his feet for. I dont get why not just keep wearing your boots
Less noise
Why not just do it Survivor man style and put a go pro camera on your wrist and another on your head?
Lol 19:45 🤙🏼
Can't you hid Your scent??
Be better filming with a phone scope
Have you ever tried idaho whitetail hunting?
I love the solo hunter videos except when they complain about filming it. I mean you are the one that chose to do it, stop complaining about it.
Bro I know its not a challenge but get a GoPro.
You make an income off the videos? And how do you commit 18 days to a hunt??
I belive he is from michigan and he owns prime archery g5
I hate Cholo hunters!Louad always saying esay this esay that scaring all the deer away!Oh solo hunter my bad!
