I loved this album for one key reason, Chris brown had very few features on it… on the last album I don’t think all the artist matched CBs energy. So it was refreshing to just hear Chris do Chris. The guy is so talented.

This is Chris's BEST album in at least 10 years, his most concise as well. I hope Chris starts to focus on albums that are 20 songs or less moving forward. Much easier to digest.

@@333van3 Ok...No where in my comment did I suggest that Indigo wasnt "incredible". But at 33 songs, plus an additional 10 on the extension, the majority of people aint checking for all of that. Songs get lost in all of the "noise", which is probably partly the reason why "under the influence" didnt pop until 3 years after the albums release. Also, albums of this sort of length tends to lack cohesion.

I think as an overall project it can get a shout, maybeafter some time. But pound for pound it's Breezy for me. The songs individually there can compete with any song of his from any era, the production and vocal performance too. Pound for pound.

He didnt market this album good. Thats the problem. He only was on Funny Marco which is a black American host. Nothing wrong with that. But CB is not just an american artist. Hes international. He shouldve done a Tiny Desk, Mainstream shows, etc. He has so many Asian fans, Japanese, European, like his FAME rollout was amazing. He promoted FAME everywhere

Shout out to the Production Teams on the album. You can tell CB leaned on the songwriters and music producers to create the sonic environment that was necessary to distinguish himself in this era of mediocrity. R&B music is coming back ie. H.E.R, Muni Long, CB, Victoria Monet etc.
From top to bottom that Chris Brown album is a banger. It's long-winded but every track is fire.
