I don't care if the whole series has the underwater voice effect..the back and forth always makes me happy.
I always appreciate the extra effort involved, and the immersion given, when creators do the underwater voice effect.

for me it just cuts his voice out almost entirely from a mobile standpoint

It’s literally just muffled there is no underwater effect 😂 it’s like covering ur mouth and saying you’re in space

I assumed he was old school. I imagine him holding a box in front of his face or speaking into a plastic cup like the people did in old radio programs.

It's very easy, barely an inconvenience! Just keep a bucket of water next to you and when you enter the water in game, shove your head in the bucket and speak from there.

It was pretty funny to see him check every item except for that haha
I use scrap metal as a basis for currency coins are expensive scrap wood and metal are the cheapest and you end up with so much metal.

I know this game is supposed to be based off waterworld but the beginning reminds me so much up stranded deep. I’ve seen a lil bit of game play of this and I can’t wait to see wat Glock comes up with. Been watching for years and I love your videos bro. Funny on top of entertaining. Keep it up
Been playing this with some buddies. Pretty great game so far. Really opens up once you get a boat and some decent gear.
This is a really interesting game, seems to be quite developed already, with more on the way. I would love to see a series on this!

Regarding the percentage, it refers to how much you've looted. 0% means all loot is still there, 100% means there's nothing to loot left. Not sure if they include trees/ores/plants in that percentage.

@glokknine you can literally build your base close to shore but in the water you don't have to build on land and it's beneficial if you do steel foundations and bass because the enemy do quite a bit of damage to your Bass you can only use your spear underwater right now
So glad to see you play this, as you're one of the few survival game players that's not afraid to shit on bad games

When I walked out of the theater after watching Water World, I said, “I could write a book about what’s wrong with that movie.” I guess that makes me a nerd. Lol. What got me the most was people smoking cigarettes. I guess there was an infinite supply.
I hated Waterworld. It's up on the list with cutthroat island

I love the counter strike knife sound when he's pulling out the tools, lol
7:20 "how are they making gun powder", as they said in the movie, they raided atols for supplies including gunpowder and bullets which no one had any of for some time. So it was a diminishing supply of leftover. Furthermore we can make primitive rockets out of sausage now, so I'm sure primitive bullets could be made using it instead of gunpowder. As for the gasoline, they also showed in the movie that the large ships the smokers were on was a oil tanker which also had a diminishing supply of "black stuff" as they called it, oil which they had obviously been refining into gasoline for their vehicles.

I believe the "currency" was the first item on the traders inventory. Also once a item is in the basket it shows the value attached to it, that should be how you compare your value with the trader's. I believe they should add the basket value on top of it.
Marlins are harmless en can be harvest for marlin fins. Wich are needed for flippers

Got this game yesterday couldn’t stop playing it. Big starting off tip is to build base with the scrap you get more of that than wood.
After the zombie apocalise world became a giant sea. Some zombies evolved to new kind of mutants and some of those can include shoot you. Keep your eyes wide open. There are a lot of hostile survivors too. Heavly armed.
In a bleak above water world, I'm thinking seeds would be pretty valuable. I would have planted them all around my base for a permanent food source. Just a thought.

I bought this game after I watched this, I like it and can’t wait to see how it improves over time. Tip for when you start again and if you haven’t already done it, craft the diving fins straight away, they make a big difference
I loved the movie waterworld as a kid, hope this game turns out good and not abandoned like many other early access games.

I'm enjoying this game so far. It's becasue as the Ocean raised they filled giant tankers full of oil and gas and what we see in the movie is the last of it on that tanker.

Careful placing items. You can not pick them back up again. Save your cloth early on for important things it is scarce. All in all a great start to a great game. Don't fight early on until you have a little armor and descent weapons. Stay under water early on. If it does not say neutral you are not welcome.

Just started a day or so ago. Played 87 minutes so far. Had no idea the trader was so close!
With the escalation to pirate encounters, and variety, and amounts of areas to search, and build on this game seems to have a lot of potential for strategy. I always look for open ended
strategy features to make it feel like my own narrative. I think developers should use the best of other good games, and combine them, this seems to be doing just that. The water looks great.

Best tip for this game. Only build with scrap metal. Wood is trash for building and scrap metal is much more abundant

For item and loot chest that you find, as long as u keep one item in the chest, it will not break apart. It will respawn loot in them.

Waterworld is in my classic collection of around 4500 DVD movies I've collected over the past 30 years. I also like Battleship 2012 I think Ignore the details and just have fun movies.
