Gege is so sick for giving us a beach episode and then having Gojo get stabbed repeatedly, Riko get shot and Geto getting traumatized. Went from 0-100 in literal minutes. Ruthless

He thinks about before and during the fight, I like how he kept changing weapons to fit the situation.

A heavenly pact is when you are born missing something and gain something in return. Maki and Toji lost cursed energy for physical strength and Mechamaru lost his legs, arm and has a bunch of other problems and gets a lot of cursed energy in return

Quick reminder: both Toji and Maki are under heavenly restriction, which means that upon birth, an “seal exchange” was placed upon them which grants them beyond superhuman speed and strength at the cost of having no cursed energy. The reason why Maki isn’t nearly as strong as Toji is because Maki still has a little cursed energy in her body; which prevents her from using the heavenly restrictions full potential. Toji on the other hand has absolute zero so he gets all the perks👍🏾

A heavenly pact is a pact forced onto someone since birth. So far we’ve seen three examples: Maki and Toji both have no cursed energy in exchange for superhuman physical strength and speed. Opposite that Mechamaru’s body is extremely fragile and deformed in exchange for high cursed energy and using his techniques over long distances.
"is he piercing through infinity?" actually not just that😭. also its funny how yall are pinning down on geto, trust me his intentions are pure and hes all the more understanding back in these years rather than gojo. you can remember also that geto was arguing with gojo in ep 1 that they should be the one protecting the weak and gojo couldnt care less. if youre talking "emotions" hes had more of that than gojo.

Gojo is literally like a popular social media influencer. He's so likeable and cool but to the point of people hating him. I couldn't describe it better.
Just for the record, no spoilers, to clarify about the 5 blows that Gojo took:
The first blow, in the chest, was with an ordinary weapon, without cursed energy, so that Gojo couldn't see anything, neither Toji nor the katana, because none of them had cursed energy.
The second blow, which crossed the throat and which Toji took advantage of, to continue and tear Gojo's chest, was with the Blade of the Inverted Heaven. He needed Gojo to use infinity to block the blow, because then the Blade's ability to disable cursed techniques would give him one more surprise attack.
The next 3 strikes, on Gojo's thigh, were with a regular knife, probably just to make sure he bleeds even more.
And the last blow, which I don't know if it was very understandable in the anime, was with the same common knife, in the middle of Gojo's forehead, piercing his skull.
So technically, yes, there's no way Gojo could have survived the vital point hits and the bleed-enforcing hits.
Yeah those leg shots would hit the artery going through there and force him to bleed out. I assume Toji did it 3 times to make absolutely sure the artery gets hit and leaves a deep wound.

Honestly Geto was a kind person , he always take care other people around him. But after Riko's death that was the one thing which is made geto began question himself as a jujutsu sorcerer. And began to have the idea of no longer believing in jujutsu sorcerer. Although he is a person who strongly believes in becoming a jujutsu sorcerer , as he mentioned in the first episode “ Listen, Satoru Jujutsu exists to protect non-sorcerers. “ but after …. Like you see in jujutsu the movie and now in season 1 ( jujutsu world so brutal )
I don't know if it was clear in the anime, but Toji finished Gojo with a stab in the head

To be clear: a heavenly pact does not necessarily mean you don't have any cursed energy. It's just when someone is born with a big disadvantage (I.E. no cursed energy in Toji's case, or not being able to step outside and even feel sunlight it Mechamaru's case) but that negative is made up for with a positive in another area. Like Toji's physical prowess or Mechamaru being able to transport massive amounts of cursed energy over vast distances.
But yes, Toji and Maki have the same heavenly pact.

The Heavenly Pact or Restriction can have any trade-off, for Maki and Toji they have little to no cursed energy in return for superhuman strength, Mechamaru from Season 1 has immense cursed energy but a very delicate body to the point where moonlight can burn his skin.
You are almost right with the heavenly pact thing Suraj. Heavenly pact is a pact that is forced upon you from birth which by basically taking something from you it also grants you another thing, we only know 3 cases of heavenly pact in the entire series (even in the manga):
1-Megumi's dad in return of not having any cursed energy the man has superhuman phisical abilities which on one hand yes it makes him a beast BUT it also makes him useless as a sorcerer because by not having any cursed energy he has no way to defeat even the weakest curse, that's why he has to rely on cursed tools which already have cursed energy in them.
2-Maki which is the same case as Megumi's dad but a veeeery watered down version of him because when it comes to strenght Toji is on another level.
3-Mechamaru, he was born without legs and his skin is so fragile that even moonlight can burn it but in exchange he got a huge amount of cursed energy and he could also control puppets from a very long distance
No, his physical prowess reminds Megumi of Maki when he first sees him. But Yuji does not have a heavenly restriction

At this point we know two? other people with heavenly restriction. Maki and Mechamaru. Maki has no cursed energy, hence she wears glasses to see spirits. Mechamaru's body is fucked, though his control over cursed energy allows him to animate a mechanical body with cursed energy and even use techniques through it.

Couple of things:
The Inverted Spear of Heaven: the knife Toji uses to stab Gojo. It has the ability to nullify all curse techniques on contact.
(This next part will kinda be explained later. To avoid spoilers, stop now)
Heavenly Restriction: takes away / reduces a (basically random amount of) a persons cursed energy, in exchange for physical capabilities. This can be used on sorcerers with low natural curse energy to give them enhanced physical capabilities, or to sorcerers who are physically weak.
Their are a few cases (though kinda rare) of HR basically making someone a non sorcerer bc of how low their cursed energy is. Maki is an example of this. Her cursed energy is so low she cant see curses on her own. Toji, however, is the first known person to have HR and to posses zero cursed energy (hence his insane physical capabilities). Think of Toji as the Winter Soldier.
The way you all went from casually talking about the show to completely silent was pretty amazing actually.

No a heavenly pact can be a restriction on cursed energy like toji or maki but it doesn't have to be. You can also have the opposite mechamaru human body is weak, but in return he has a lot of cursed energy so he controls mechanical doll kind of body with cursed energy. And its called a heavenly restriction buts a thing from birth. Its not a pact you just make. So no not everyone that has a heavenly restriction has no cursed energy. Also with gojo it wasn't just staying up but him constistently using infinity is also fatigueing at least for this gojo of course the other gojo is more grown up.
so Mechamaru is kinda like Nagato from Naruto? so even if they wanted to leave the pact they wouldn't be able to scape if I understood correctly?
@@christianmarly Well they wouldn't be able to escape having a weak body by themselves probably but I don't think you can really escape the pact as mechamaru will probably keep his amount of cursed energy he was born with regardless.
FYI the aquarium they go to is the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium- it's I think the second biggest in the world and does have a few whale sharks like we see (rescued after getting stranded)

He & Maki both are Zenin failures since Toji absolutely don't has any Cursed energy at all but Maki has it just a tiny amount, nether they have any kind of Cursed techniques. They're almost same as regular humans but with more physical strength. And still they are able to keep up with the strong sorcerers

Heavenly pact was mentioned before, it's a magical contract that gives you immense power for a massive cost. The robot guy from S1 had a heavenly pact that gave him insane amounts of cursed energy but in turn his body was rendered useless. Toji has the exact opposite. (Superhuman physical prowess but 0 cursed energy)
