    I have been obsessed with these Kingtone pedals. I have the Vintage Fuzz, Dualist, and Octaland mini - and I cannot live without them. Jesse is a madman of tone!!!

    Mr. Davies's got some fantastic pedals he designed. I love the miniFuzz and the Octaland. I'm honestly glad I've seen his own demos so I was able to hear the differences in tone between them quite clearly. And what a great guitar player he is. Truly inspiring.

    The best “KingTone” video out there!!! 🔥🔥🔥
    So good, in fact, I had to order both fuzz pedals! I already own “The Duellist” and it’s a FANTASTIC pedal.
    These pedals are no-brainers and what a MONSTER player!
    Thanks for the demos! ✌🏼

      Stashman, what would I be missing out on if I just had the blues power instead of shelling out for the Duelist (in your humble experience/opinion...)?

    The best demo of Jesse's pedals on CZcams, if only he had also played a HB or P90 guitar as well.

    I have the Duellist, Blues Power and Mini Fuzz SI. I bought them all in the last month. I got frustrated at first trying to combine them. There really is no reason to combine them. I use the Fuzz with my pickups rolled down for that “ Life Without You” Tone. I use the Blues Power for lower gain settings and the Duellist I crank up for slightly higher gain needs. These are expensive but damn if you love SRV and Jimi like I do it won’t matter. Solid unique pedals that get you amazing tone without killing you ears.

    Awesome pedals (demonstrated with some awesome playing)! A good overview to get an impression of the individual "vibe" of one of those in comparison to another. Would have been interesting, though, to take just a regular Strat with regular pickups as one wonders what the Kingtone pickups actually add to the overall sound.

    They all sound great and the tones they offer really suit John's playing.
    What's the deal with that strat then, is it John's personal guitar? I always though it was a model from your stock. But if you've modified the pickups, guess not :-)

      Gary Moseley the one in the other videos was this one www.peachguitars.com/guitars/electric-guitars/fender-custom-shop-roasted-1960-strat-relic-aged-vintage-white.htm the Strat I’m playing in this video was a masterbuilt that we sold a few years ago and then took back as part of another deal. I shall be looking after it for a while....

    • @JohnSmith-oq4bc
      @JohnSmith-oq4bc Před 5 lety

      And than they will cry, and cry, and cry... Because their strat and their tubescreamer sound nothing like this. ;-) I think, this is what people think it sounds like. And than they will mod their amp, change speakers, mod their TS, change pickups, buy and sell a strat after strat, and play for 20 more years, and then they will finally get this 'it is just a TS with a strat' tone :P. Alternatively you can spend thousands of £ on a two rock amp and king tone pedals and play for 20 years and get the same result. ;-)

    I hate to break the news to ya but the pedals this guy is using has nothing to do with the fact that he can tear a freaking guitar up. I'm pretty sure he could do the same thing with beringer or joyo or any other cheap ass pedals. That's cause he's a bad crab. Save the money them high dollar pedals would cost you and use it for guitar lessons.
