  • We take a walk down Grand Baie Road and discover a real piece of Mauritius. We ate a lot of street food, we meet some really nice people, we experienced what every Mauritian pedestrian goes through and it was great.
If you enjoyed this video check this one out • Best beach road trip (...
I hope that everyone who drives down or near this road, on your way to or from La Croisette shopping center, stops and at least once, walks this road. If you are here in Mauritius for a short trip, make this street a must-visit on your itinerary.

    25:38 Rain over, bye-bye.
This new format is something we are going to try. I really like it. It does make the videos quite long, but with the detailed chapters, you can jump to the best bits or anything that piques your interest. I keep going to the bit where Riki's tongue ties herself.

Walked that walk thousands of times. A few notes: Azul serves fantastic Porra food and is Saffer owned. The first barber shop you stopped at is where I have been going for the last two and a half years. He's a happy soul. Opposite the Beach House is Pharmacie Ducasse. He is very well stocked and if he hasn't got something he will get it in a day or two. Outside the entrance to Landmark is a guy selling pineapples out of the boot of his car. He tells me they are all his own produce and they are probably the best pines I have ever eaten. Keep posting.
