I opened up a second tab and played the original Welcome to the Internet along side this one. That digital laugh imposed over the original is one of the coolest and most haunting sounds I've ever heard.

I just wanted to make a suggestion. (But first - thank you so much, these are just fantastic. I will be putting these on repeat for weeks I'm sure.) I think you should upload these songs individually as well, so that you can get more eyes (and ears) on your work. I have watched nearly every video essay, reaction video, commentary, etc about 'Inside' that exists on CZcams. Somehow this only came on my feed today. Lots of people search by song name (ie. "All Eyes On Me") and I bet your stuff would be a lot easier to stumble across if you had individual songs uploaded as well. Just a suggestion because this is my favourite thing on CZcams right now. You know, I've been thinking about what an Inside video game could potentially be like. I think it could be cool to potentially take some inspiration from the likes of Yume Nikki, with the process of creating the special being represented in this abstract dreamlike way as he explores different "worlds" and ideas from within the room and uses his tools to interact with and capture them.

Wait, so did you have to recreate that whole 3D scene again? Or did you find the old file? Or maybe just cleverly Photoshop the original?

in short: it's just the original scene with some simple lighting changes i did in photoshop
in long: first i did this thing in blender that i learned from an ian hubert tutorial (the guy's a god at blender) where you recreate the basic geometry of a scene and then reproject the original image onto that geometry, from there i just added a spotlight, rendered it out, and did some more lighting adjustments and color correction later

Well, while we're here... I might have spent some time earlier this week recreating your low-poly room as an exercise in Blender. It's not exactly the same, partly because I based it off of my previous attempt at making a high-poly version of Bo's room, and partly because I'm too lazy to match everything up exactly. But if it would be useful to you, I can share the low-poly .blend file! Oh, and there are some people asking for the 3D model of your room in your "Part 1" video - I was thinking about sharing my .blend file with them too, if you're okay with it.
