Mima was a very important character back in the PC-98. She was featured in HRtP, was the last boss of SoEW and was playable in PoDD and MS. She's depicted as an extremely powerful and dominant being, along with Yuuka and Shinki. Her design is instantly recognizable, she was Marisa's master and seemed to have a good knowledge of the Hakurei Shrine and the orbs.
And she was erased from history, all of a sudden! I don't think she will return, but she's still one of my favorite character, so here is her theme in SoEW remixed by Magnum Opus! Go Mima!

I love Mima. I've always wanted to write a retelling of the PC-98 games with 3 major plot threads, one following Yumemi in the future creating the Probability Space Hypervessel and leading into the events of PoDD; one following Reimu and going through the early PC-98 games, and one following Mima and her story, going from a Vengeful Evil Spirit to being Marisa's teacher and maternal figure, and eventually working with Reimu in her own way to resolve incidents, dropping cryptic hints of her knowledge of the Hakurei family/shrine.
Sadly I suck at writing.
