      tbh once i couldn't tell if it was Guru or Dave east on a track...wish i could recall d track. But i think it was d joint Premier put out not too long ago with a video to go with it. Like i didnt hear it or watch it from d beginning and bc its new i was like "oh a new Dave East".

      Thank you! So many idiots claiming he’s too boring and monotonous. They think lyricism is Eminem on rap god or godzilla. They don’t understand the many things that make a lyricist or a timeless track. Guru had some of the nicest flows ever. And he was always ahead of the times.

    My first few years being a Hip Hop head I was all about Pac and Biggie. As great as they are, as time passes I now listen to more Gangstarr, Wu-Tang, and Mobb Deep. These groups grow on you over time, takes a while to appreciate their greatness.

    Glad to see you are shining some light on Gang Starr and discovering them yourself. They are one of the most underrated hip hop duos of all time. Most of their songs are great. Check out the song Who's Gonna Take The Weight if you want to hear them in prime form.

    Not Gang Starr... but from the same classic era, but you should totally check out I Used To Love H.E.R. by Common. That song is an incredible and poetic story about, well... when you listen to it and the story being told above that amazing beat, the ending will blow your mind! :)
    But digressing back to Gang Starr, Code Of The Streets is a classic!

    I'm so happy to see you young brothers taking a look at history, and how these rappers are able to be wack in there music and still get paid.
