I root for Hera every game...except when he plays against a group of three or four regular people. As a 1,000 ELO player myself, I'm always rooting for the amateurs to win!

last 10 minutes I could not look away from those unefficient fish ships going all around in a line like ants ! It's been mesmerizing 11
One go full water, one go feudal archers, and one go fast castle one tc + knights... 20 minutes and Hera will be locked under his castle. And what have they done? 5 archers, no raids, no castle drops, no stone walls, no water pressure.
I think 3 extreme bots would be more difficult to deal with. Think they just never played Nomad maps nor watched Nomad games.
I once invited 6 friends to play AoE2DE and beat them 1vs6, trained them, now 2 of them are enough to beat me. Stone walls + constant agression are very hard to deal with.

Huns really need a buff to their tarkan, make it have a strong anti-camel bonus or straight make its base attack much stronger or fix the attack rate to normal.

great game indeed... the initial food generation from water gives a lot of boost specially not requiring houses..perfectly used it... great economy of 165 villagers...

I love huns. It's so smooth, and cav archers in my ELO feel very good, because they give you map control and it makes enemy lose it a bit when raiding multiple places and then escape...while not caring about housing... Good old huns :)
I expected them to be better with those elo, probably the pression of being on youtube
Bro i was so nervous and it was my first time playing as dravidians 11
First I tried using monks to convert siege and found out dravidians dont get redemption, that was painful.
Then I tried the elephants and was just like well they got killed by tarkans so they didnt work
So I was like screw it i'm going full trash and the pressure from my team telling me DO SOMETHING
@@Carlosk12 always go full random, you will suck for a lot of games but you will learn all the civ, and if you know them you will know how to stop them
With Dravidians open with archers, add pikes if needed, add siege, try to get arbalester and halbs, keep adding siege, urumi depending on the situation, at least that's how I play, usually I ignore elephants and monks
The biggest mistake I think was sending the siege elephants without support on that castle, you're 3 vs 1, you can let some halbs die to the castle arrows if that means saving the elephants from the tarkans, reach 100 pop and keep flooding the field with halbs, doesn't matter how many die, just keep alive 4-5 siege elephants and kill castles, ignore villagers, ignore arrows, protect the siege, kill the tarkans, keep sending halbs, you allies will clean the field after you
@@Carlosk12 Main mistake that nobody played water. On nomad impact of having fish and killing enemy fish is huge at early stage.
And defenitely synchronized attack is the key. No way to stop 3 players for Hera, if they push together in castle age.

Randoming into Huns while your opponents Random into dravidians and Mongols on Nomad. Thats gotta hurt
It's totally ironic that the Huns are the worst civ on Nomad and its variants since they're thematically and historically, you know, nomadic.
Their wood penalty should be reduced to -50 so they can have the chance to survive on these types of maps.
I was literally going to the say the same thing!
Huns are actually good on African Clearing, another map with a nomad start, because you don't need to build a dock. Same goes for Land Nomad. Basically it's just nomad-start maps where docking is important that they suffer.
Do these people spend a decent amount of money and then go in with zero strategy? Picking nomad and then letting Hera free fish for 35+ mins.
Especially being on voice too, as soon as they see the civs that eventuate it should be pretty obvious how things are divided. Or am I expecting way too much from 1100's?

Kind of an off-topic question for you Hera, but do you ever feel or think about the future and there being more and more civs added, and maybe feel a bit overwhelmed with how many civs there might be? Or do you think it'll be fine?
More civs are good but we must keep balance in check

Full random means multiple can get the same civ
I dont think Huns are lost on team games have a great unit(Paladin, HCA, Halbs) to counter but the lack of monks for stop massive siege units is when the horror start.
They are only bad on nomad because of the wood penalty
before game: should not be possible against 1100-1400
after game: amazing play by hera once again but once again im asking myself: why do the challengers come in so unprepared? okay you have random civs but you know the map, at least try to teamplay here - let 1 be the lamer in dark age, one goes full water and one goes straight fast castle into something to pressure. its not rocket science. the challengers keep letting hera do whatever he wants early on and then just get dominated. losing water 3v1 is just not a thing that should happen ever never, even if hera will be 4k elo one time :D

TBH Cumans is the worst on Nomad, not Huns.
Yes, you cannot dock immediately, but Feudal TC is never the play on Nomad. Even if you eventually lose your fish you can still FC off of it.
The thing is you don't have to feudal TC, you can still play them vanilla, Cumans are still playable. Huns are widely considered as unplayable on Nomad because of the wood penalty. Also Cumans have huge potential with feudal rams and Steppe Lancers are ridiculously good at raiding
@@StraightEdgeNexus Dude, I've played over 5000 Nomad TGs since HD. Feudal Rams are not a thing. Everyone and their grandma would get to Castle Age by the time you get a Ram AND any meaningful number of military to their TC. Sending a naked Ram is not gonna work as it will just die to villagers poking it.
I would so love to challenge you, but I don't play anymore, now I just watch. I was 1500 in my prime, I improved from 1100 very fast too. I could have improved still but quit the game.

And Chinese tc gives 10 pop space
You need to do a lot more raiding especially when youre making a unit like the tarkan. You're underestimating how much players of this level panic when they get raided
you Played against 3 normal or easy NPC.
1vs3 is the way to go
