Ok, I have to stop the happy tears now to comment on this fantastic video. I can't believe how fate guided you to a town where the patron saint is Saint Luca and Saint Rocco is the patron saint of miracles. Luca's recovery and good health is truly a miracle and Saint Luca will be Luca and the entire family's patron saint. I loved the festival and although I have never been to Sicily I felt such a deep connection and emotional feeling for the experience. I am totally amazed and impressed with the renovation and can't wait to see more. Have a wonderful week, we love you!

All the floors are absolutely stunning! It's like opening a brown paper package to find jewels inside. What a lovely town/village you have found as well. The Lord absolutely lead you there. A home in town, fruitful land around and stunning views of the sea. You all appear to be thriving and Luce is such a happy, well adjusted and precious toddler. It's looking wonderful, the floors are stunning. For the sofa I would go with a mustard colour to pick up on the colour in the floor tiles, but red or green would look wonderful too. Luce is growing so fast! And more beautiful every day x

Loving everything about you finding & restoring this charming, ancient place. I do wish Luca had worn a dust mask when ripping out that old flooring. Mildew, etc (?) can exist in between layers of old flooring like that. You don’t need ancient mildew getting into your sinuses & lungs.
The old flooring you washed is extraordinary!
The pattern is so unusual! How old it it? Is it a pattern made of stone tile pieces? Can you find a historian to tell you the age of this flooring?
I’d wash the toilet & bidet before ripping it out. It has an elegant style quality, like maybe from the 20s or 30s, but could be older.

I think a green sofa would look lovely with that floor. You can get glue removal stuff from vinyl flooring, Those tiles underneath are beautiful in the kitchen in fact in the whole house it is beautiful I would keep them all. Wow you have done so much in three weeks and Lucce is a most wonderful, darling, baby. Her smiles lightens your day, I have never seen such a happy baby as Lucce,.
Yes, Sara!! I 100% agree! Definitely get rid of those nasty bathroom fixtures and purchase fresh new ones. Luca, I’m all for repurpose and reuse, however there are some things that just need to be new and brand new bathroom fixtures are a must.

What a transformation you have done already! Nice to see an American saying nice things about the Italian people. I have been watching since C-19, you two have gotten my husband & I through that. Two years ago we made plans to go to Italy, for our 58th anniversary, but got the virus. In a few days we will be celebrating our 60th, but doubt if we will ever see your beautiful country. That was a somewhat snarky remark about Americans saying something nice about Italians. Never read anything negative coming from any American speaking bad about Italians. To bad you won’t make it to Italy it is beautiful and the people are wonderful.
I love your tile rugs, they’re beautiful Sara, I believe a light charcoal gray would be handsome with red and yellow pillows to accent all; if you chose green, you’d get tired of it, green and red pillows you could use at Christmas time to change it up for a while, spring time, bring out the yellow pillows again, the gray would wear better also and would enhance other throws in any color too. It’s my choice, have fun finding your favorite. Now a red rug would be beautiful in your living area. I believe a green rug with green accents on your bedding would pull the two rooms together when the doors are open from the living room to the bedroom and the red rug in the living room would pull the living room and kitchen together, enchanting and it would flow with color ❤🎉. Congratulations on what you have done. For the bathroom I’d use a dark gray for the bath towels, they will really stand out on the beautiful tiled walls ❤. The kitchen, use Red Poppy flowers or Red, yellow and orange Zinnias flowers on your kitchen towels ❤. Spicy Italian girl 😂!

I would choose the yellow because there is already a lot of green and red in the floor. Also yellow is a rich and warm colour.
I love the muted plums and greys of the floor - reminds me of the lovely old colours that look like Christmas. Old dark wood looks good with that colour scheme. Maybe a table? A lovely discovery and fun for you all and the beauty of old houses. The CBS man would be amazed if he had seen your house that the euro homes are fantastic.

Toilet and bidet are relatively cheap to replace to have something new and clean. Those floors are exquisite! I love the red and greens together and have a lot of those colors in my house. What a wonderful transformation and many kudos to your plaster men! Wow!

1st, Luce is sooooooo sweet and adorable! I see her in each video and just want to hug her and kiss her! I’m an aunt of 11. One of my sisters has 7. And, the kids are soo much fun!
2nd, yellow! I think yellow would compliment the floor and not be too overwhelming.
3rd, the renovation is coming along great!
Definitely a mustard colored sofa.
The terrazzo floors are beautiful, probably installed in the late 1940's or 1950's. And the floor in the kitchen with its checkerboard coloring perfectly complements the wall tile. With the dark red in both floors a red sofa would be lovely. However, with strong sunlight it will fade really quickly so a warm golden yellow sofa might be a better choice, and then use dark red accents in pillows and other furniture.
As much as we enjoy watching your progress and adventures, we can't get enough of Luce!! She is absolutely the most adorable little girl!!
