i only began to read the light novels in november of 2023. In the time of writing this comment on 04-05-2024 im on the 18th novel, "Spring log one" and i absolutely wished i began reading sooner.

Was it a disappointment or was it decent? I haven't watched it yet. Heard it's been a little more faithful with his friend being a guy. Also why does Holo sound like a Loli instead. At least the speech pattern is a little believable since they'd talk differently in those times.
@@VinnyUnion it's much more faithful to the novels and fixed some issues involving early writing inconsistencies

@@VinnyUnion Well, Holo was actually supposed to be a teen girl around 14 by her look. The original anime aged her. So, this is actually more faithful to the novel.

Why they reanimated this old anime? Can someone tell me why because I have watch it before the first and second season
Because the second season never finished the story of the light novel and manga. This take of the anime will actually cover the story properly, especially since season 2 of spice and wolf's original anime was non-cannon.
Because it's quite old by today's standards and most anime viewers and fans wouldn't be able to get past the dated animation, which is from 2008
