@@MrsOliva I'm not sure who you mean by, "They." I'm talking about the reporter-in France. She (like most Americans) does not know how to pronounce. But as a reporter-working in France, she has no excuses....other than ignorance-in France :)
The Olympics is all about politics now. It used to be about sportsmanship.

No kidding. It's also about peace and putting aside our differences for a short moment in time to show we are all human.
Ever since the torch bearers started being attacked by these extremists, it's pathetic seeing the torch only being run through the host country and their territories. It used to be a big local event when the torch would come by my city and country to pump everyone up with the Olympic spirit. Now, only the "richer" host countries can do it leaving everyone else out. How is that uniting the human race?
I just hope he doesn't try to smoke it nor drop it😂WHY the hell is Snoop Dogg even apart of this traditional ceremony they do know he's a musician right and not an athlete😮 SMH 😏

I know I saw that and was like how was that even apart or affiliated with the Olympics who in the world actually sat back and thought that was a GOOD idea🥺 some things should definitely be left out of ceremonial traditions especially if it has no meaningfull purpose there😔 definitely upsetting to say the least...
