These kind of videos are just as good as days when you never get stuck!! It helps me tons watching how you guys get out of those situations so I know what to do when I get stuck. Keep killing it out there freeriders!!!!

A day like that is hard on even the best riders. Knowing the best ways to get unstick is crucial for many reasons. Not that I'm an expert, but I do yell at videos sometimes when peeps are obviously doing it the hard way.

Regardless of Brand,you should get at least 1 trouble free year considering the prices of these sleds and I'm not even talking about regular breakdowns!! Every manufacturer this year is spotty!! Bolts falling out? Clutches blowing apart,chaincases WTF!! If you bought a car with the 💩 We've seen this year you would be in court Lemon Lawing the manufacturer's!! Love the videos kid👍👍
These things are huge power to weight ratio machines that don’t need to abide by any road rules. The get ridden hard and put away wet (or icy). I don’t think too many guys will be keeping these machines off warranty. Kudos to doo and poo for putting out such amazing machines with warranty. If you ride as hard as these guys, you’re gonna break and wear out parts. I’m not sure sleds can get much better than 2023. Can’t wait to see what 2028 brings. I remember 15 years ago guys were saying these new sleds are getting us places we shouldn’t be. Lol.
@@thecabinguy3006 Yea I don't think people realized the amount of power per CC these little motors are generating. If your average 1 ton pickup made this much power per CC, we'd all be driving 3,000 hp diesels haha

Slow and high RPMs aka HEAT is a killer on belts and running into rocks is a killer on A-arms and bulk heads Man that sucks! Lived it!!

I mounted a 6in light bar on a go pro mount on the top of my helmet. Cord runs down my back into my pocket and runs on a 2amp hour dewalt battery, runs for hours and its bright af.

oh you went home home, and here I thought you were just referring to your temporary mountain home. Well glad you were able to go home for a few days, but I don't know if we can handle the lack of daily content during the prime of the season. When I live vicariously through your mountain riding this mid season break was torture. Keep it up Matt!!!

U should have a 165 for days like this! I ride a 22 turbo 175 but not nearly as good of shape as you anymore (used to be about 10 years ago! Lol!)

Try a new belt and actually break it in this time matt! Lol. I had the same issue and good belt break in and washing of it really helped

very interested to hear what the rpm issue ends up being. My 22 turbo just did this same thing to me on the weekend, took it in and put a fuel pressure guage on at dealer. Stays between 41-44 psi (brp says 44 is normal). we haven't swapped the pump yet as it doesn't seem as bad now. good luck really enjoy the videos!

there is mod out for dumping the exhaust into the tunnel, the present setup dumps into the snow causing a back pressure that keeps the turbo from spinnibg up...

I’m convinced that they ALL build motors to last for trail use(occasional full throttle) and NOT for mountain sledders with 95% FULL THROTTLE! Cheaper to fix a few than change production and make more expensive, more durable engines 🤷♂️( look at the bright side, you use less fuel when she ain’t revved to the max 😂)
I just got back from sledding in steamboat I have mad respect for yours and the guys you ride with skills.
you should consider getting a moonlight bright as day 3000, its what i use, veeery bright and lasts forever
I feel like the Ski-Doo has a clutching issue. The motor still seemed like it was pulling hard just getting bogged down.
My first thought as well.
I got a foot last night. I thought we were looking at an inch, but we got a surprising dump. No wind so wires have 8" on them and it is the fluffy powdered sugar kind.

If we can get my 73 arctic cat panther way up there, I can show you how to go down ...and have a ton fun. Its like a motorized toboggan with skis going down.
Not pulling full revs could be anything fuel related. Fuel filter would be my first start. Power valves could maybe be cleaned.
I think the intake or something got too much snow in there and froze up.
I had a sled that that did that and I thought it blew up. I took it to the shop and they let it dry out and tried to start it to see if anything would work and it was running just fine.
Might be a sticking exhaust valve. Mine was pretty bad. Seemed intermittent on yours. Dont even know if the newer sleds have exhaust valves. God bless bro!

Matt. GET RID OF THE factory exhaust and Buy Tunnel Exhaust for your Shed. Turbos HATE PLUG EXHAUST Tube. The turbo can’t exhale 😮💨 There a great company that has a Patent one pick one up for both sheds

Why didn't you try adjusting the clickers on your primary clutch? I was just wondering if you had other issues that made you decide not to adjust the clutch.
Nothing to do with clutching. I was revving 8200 5 minutes prior

If fuel pump isnt faulty then I think you got bad fuel, sled is holding back to prevent knock.
At the start of the video I was thinking you headed out alone and I was thinking you were nuts and you would have been.
Like I said before, I think someone needs a 175 turbo for next year, there are enough days to use it.

Water in the fuel? Maybe a fuel filter........had similar issue with other brand and the stator was weak.

Actuator motor for power valves? Had a buddy with a gen 4 a couple months ago in some deep snow where 7200 just wasn’t enough so we zip tied the power valves wide open to him through the day lol

Belt is probably junk or Clutch out of Wack, that's what regulates rpm? Wish we could see how deep your belt is running in the Driven Clutch! Check that before you dump off at Dealer!
