This was the interview we all wanted and Dead Meat delivered! I’m really hoping for a Season 3. The tv series was just too enjoyable. It has me and many others wanting more.

The first movie always felt Christmasy. It's cold/winter/snowy, Chucky was a present. Even though they didn't say the word, it very much felt like Christmas. It often ends up part of my Christmas viewing.
I feel like Curse and Cult both have a very wintery feel as well.

This series of after shows has been one of the most delightful things I’ve ever seen. I love watching you guys have a blast and talking with people who clearly love what they’re doing. Love, love, LOVE Dead Meat!
The movie Brad mentions near the end along with The Abominable Dr. Phibes where Vincent Price plays an actor who then plays multiple characters is called “Theatre of Blood”, for anyone curious (though it seems Brad got the two movies mixed up). It’s a lot like Dr. Phibes where it’s a proto-slasher, and both movies are very fun and VERY 70’s.
Theatre of Blood is about an actor who takes revenge on his critics by modeling their kills after Shakespeare plays, and Dr. Phibes is about a genius who takes revenge on the people he feels are responsible for his wife’s death by modeling their kills after The Ten Commandments. The two seem similar but I can tell you that they have pretty different executions.
Also, look up the theme song for Theatre of Blood, it’s genuinely really beautiful.
Both movies are wonderful. Not to mention Abominable Dr. Phibes is arguably an inspiration on both Seven and Saw, with the kills after the Ten Plagues of Egypt (not the Commandments) and one of the set pieces being very similar to a Saw trap.
When Brad talks, I can only hear Chucky!

Super meta. Brad was in the remake of Halloween 2. Loved him as Brackett. Best performance in Rob Zombie’s remakes by far.

When Brackett finds Annie's body in Rob Zombie's Halloween II... such powerful acting, the raw emotion on display is masterful, and shows that Brad is such a great actor.
He was also in the first one.
I loved this interview so, so much! The genuine excitement you two had when meeting Brad Dourif was so wholesome. Brad Dourif is a horror ICON.
All i'll say is that with the way this episode ended, i'll be looking forward to season 3!
And in case anyone says anything i know it literally hasn't even been a day since season 2 ended but still.

On a side note: Dourif's portrayal of the Gemini Killer in Exorcist III is one of my favorite performances ever.

I need a scene in season three where James is doing the kill count at the end of the episode like Chucky did this whole season and then Chucky comes In and is like "hey this is my show and I'll count the kills" and then Chucky murders James and Chelsea.

Really? That's where I was born. Huntington has changed a lot over the years. Remember the so-called superblock? Well a shopping center was built on it just almost 20 years ago. Some of the old stores are gone; so if you want to pay a visit I can promise you one thing. Huntington is becoming a more diverse place and we no longer have a superblock. The Pullman Square Mall currently occupies the entire area. So it's essentially a shopping district. Please feel free to check it out if you have the time.😀

this is my favorite after show so far. brad and don’s chemistry is so genuine. brad seems so fun to talk to i love his energy. don always speaks so passionately and i absolutely love it. they both just seem so kind and proud of what they do.

I’ve been introduced to Chucky when I was younger than Alex Vincent. Watching it on tv with my dad when I was 4. I distinctly remember Child’s Play 3 the most growing up, when he’s on the carnival ride and gets half his face chopped off. I thought it was cool. And I remember going over to my grandmas house, I was 6 at the time, and telling her about a movie about a doll that goes around killing people. With my little 6 year old enthusiasm. She sighed and asked my dad why he let me watch that crap. And I’m so glad he did. Now, P my other grandma didn’t mind and would buy it for me and i’d secretly watch it over at her house, but not on Sunday, ironically. She called him ‘Chunky’ because the way he was designed in Child’s Play 2, which I’m in the majority of those who love that look and it’s my favorite Chucky movie. One day I decided to take Childs Play home, my brother ratted on me because he was mad at me for some reason. Chucky was banned in our house. My mom hid the dvd but I ended up finding it. people have asked me if I was ever scared of Chucky as a kid. The answer was no. I was a mature kid and knew it wasn’t real. I found the concept fascinating and 25 years later still do! So, thank you for creating all the fond memories, Don, cast and crew! You always deliver!
