I just found your channel and I've been binge watching videos and came across this one 3.5 months post op. Everything you explained about your pain and discomfort made me feel like I was reliving my recovery! My chest hardly hurt. My back felt TERRIBLE. I remember sitting up in my bed and just sobbing wanting everything to stop being so difficult and my back to stop hurting. Got a neck pillow and it was my best friend. Aside from my boyfriend who was the absolute best at helping me with everything.

She'll be perfectly fine to take pain pills as long as she doesn't really take them over 5 or 7 days maximum amount 10 days and no longer.... But my opinion is would go 5 days on the real painkillers and then go the rest on ibuprofen.
