So instead I've just tracked down and tried to buy as many of the projects Vescera was involved with as I could. Scarred for Life and Methods of Madness are gems.

One of my favourite albums of all time, Soldier Of Fortune. Akira Takasaki is phenomenal, Vescara´s best vocal work to day, every song is quality. RIP Munetaka Higuchi, what a powerhouse of a drummer he was ! Taken too early from this world.
Now that was a perfectly-constructed and executed shred solo, as opposed to a lot of shredders who's solos are only comprised of random sweep arpeggios and alternate-picked speed runs that make no melodic sense.
