Janet Escorial Not at all about prostitution. This lady just decided she was not going to be tied down by a marriage and would rather party, travel the world and have several flings so she’s free. That’s what she thought, but as she got older, she realized, she should have settled down and had a family because after everything, she still felt empty. She should have been with the one she loved instead of whoring around. It’s a sad regretful state.

Ive been heard this song when I'm child tot it was a happy song, but when i see the lyrics now its a sad song full of regrets and unhappy.

this song makes me sad, I always hear my mom sings it every karaoke and it felt like she wants more being a woman. I know her, she's so intelligent and ambitious but she had us first so she need to sacrifice her dreams.
I remember watching a pageant and one of the contestants showcased her talent of drawing. This song came out as her music background. She interpreted it as something that women should cherish: it's themselves. She didn't win but for me she won. I was ten then.
