Ash genuinely surprised fairs overprice their foods
Any sort of people get together that has food is overpriced.
Due to the prices I think ash should recreate cost effective versions of these fair foods (with friends of course)

@@ashdog.mp4 Get some breaded chicken and biscuits from the store. Make those in your preferred method. Honey Sauce: 1 cup of honey, 1 tbl apple cider vinegar, 1tsp sriracha, 1/2 tsp chilli powder. The longer it sits, the more spice you get. French toast batter: 3 tbl sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 2 tbl milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tbl vegetable oil, 1 tbl melted butter. After the biscuits are done cooking, lightly dip both ends of the biscuit in the batter and fry in a pan on medium-low heat with butter. Cut the biscuit in half. After the chicken is cooked, toss in the honey mixture, place in biscuit. Past that point you can do just about anything with it. I put scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese for breakfast or pickles, pickled red onion, and shredded cabbage for dinner. I'm a chef and got plenty more where that came from.

Ill be honest, if it comes to the ingredients, yes it matters if its homemade, homemade ingredients are high quality if the person making them is skilled. If it comes to hand cut or molded or some shit, it doesnt really matter that much, people from all time periods have used special equipment and I'd bet they'd agree that improved equipment is always helpful

I lived in Minnesota for over ten years and went to the state fair every year. I always got fries, cheese curds, and the apple pie. FYI Minn state fair fries hit different. I moved out of state over seven years ago and finally went last summer and it was just as good as I remembered.
Wish ash came to Indiana earlier. In North West Indiana there's a food truck that used to be open (closed now because of money and health issues of the owners) called da portable Rican. They had a potato sized papa rellena meal that was BOMB. Imagine taco meat wrapped in mashed potatoes then deep fried with some pretty darn fresh Puerto Rican rice. Wish I could've shown him that IRL
