This authority thing really messed up my mind thinking about how to use it's essence and how people able to get the authority stats they want. I got about 3-4 rare equipment from Authority messengers but have very bad stats on it, tried selling it to auction house but no one seems to buy it. Thanks to you now I know where to look at.
As I understand, the best way to get good option gears could follow this process: 1. Use Quality Birth Essense on Normal Item to change its Percentate Quality 2. Use Magic Upgrade Essense until get 3 Slots magic Item 3. Use Rare Upgrade Essense ultil get 5~6 Slots rare Item. If you only get 4, use Reversion Essence and repeat step 2. Step 2+3 can be combine by using Random Upgrade Essence. 4. Choose 1 option you want most and use Rare Fixed Essence to get it. Repeat this step till you get good tier of that option. 5. Use Rare Expansion Essence if your item has 5 Slots. 6. Use Rare Imbue Essence if your item has any empty slots. 7. Use Prefix Option Birth Essence or Suffix Option Birth Essence, oposite to the option type that you choose in Step 4, to get better option you want. 8. Use Vesper Essence to increase Tier of your Option 9. Use Rare Change Essence to get highest option value posible 10. Use Quality Modification Essence to increase Percentate Quality 11. Use Legendary upgrage Essence. I'm currently stucking at when should you use Authority Essence ... btw, if following this process, any Magic Birth Essence should be convert to Rare Birth Essence, and any Rare Birth Essence should be convert to Rare Fixed Essence. Very indepth guide 👍. But how do you keep your gear progress as you level up? Say, you have some level 20ish pieces with very good stats after using all of your crafting mats. You will pick normal pieces with higher levels. What do you do then?
I crafted new gear at every act. You don't want to try and BiS roll everything all the time, cause you're going to replace it frequently. During acts 1-10 your priority should be the resistances, anything else is bonus. Even if you're just making it blue grade gear, it doesn't need to be yellow. Since yellow mats will be more uncommon early on.
Do the authority materials reroll the existing options for suffix/prefix? Ord do they add a random suffix/prefix? What if all the slots are revealed already?

Act 7 boss even with 75% capped Fire res destroys you completely :) I was like Ok i have more than enough armor to reach 70% phys dmg reduction and 75% Fire resist I should be ok.... Well that specific boss is just next level :D I am even stuck on it right now in Void rift progression :D Probably should craft ignite immunity potions? Any thoughts?

For example if I only wanted to buy boots that can roll a top of 40% movement speed, but I see ones that are a tier 6 at 30% movement speed thinking maybe I can buy em cheaper if I buy it I can roll a tier 10 to get my 40% movement speed. Just to find out that the gear can only roll up to a tier 9

My problem is having enough of these essences to keep re rolling for the stats I need. I’m stuck on the last boss on act 7 just trying to farm for them but they don’t seem drop enough for the amount you need to re roll them. lol
1000% do not be trying to perfect roll. The stats you need are resistance, even if its a smaller value. You dont need amazing rolled gear for the bosses. Make the Fixed Essence orbs and SELECT fire res OR burn dodge chance.
You should be able to. Expect it to re-roll all suffix/prefix mods too each time though as it states. Like the legendary quality mod, exclusively states it can only be used on an item one time, the authority mods do not.

@@ZZav curious about the answer to this question as well. i've gotten a few pieces from the chaos statue trial bosses but other than that, i'm guessing the drop from the bosses that have a random chance to spawn zones in maps. yesterday i ran into a casthor map (pools of lightning damage on ground, kill enough enemies and a portal to fight him opens) twice and i died both times to him but maybe that's how you would get more of those items.
Well there's only so much to cover in terms of the systems xD Sadly im not a "builds" kinda person and doing builds for Undec is much more time investing than say PoE.
Overall are just randomly gambling....just enjoy playing n building whatever given..if not will be losing thousands of dollars..just for fun..not investment.. cheers

alyssa essence is good.. but make sure you have many.. it will destroy your gear if your not prepared

No level 1 is the same as level 90. That's why the level exists. For no reason.

What's the point of suffixes and prefixes if they roll all the same? Why not call it just "effixes". 😅
Because you can only roll certain ones depending on if its a suffix or prefix. You will never roll Flat Attack damage as a suffix, only prefix, etc.

No, not gear with a specific set implicit. I.E. Berserker Hatchet has 25% crit damage. It will always have that and you cant change it.
