We were driving around and found this really NEGATIVE house, the whole outside of the fence had a lot of overgrown grass that needed trimming. We knocked on the door and after talking we knew she was a single mom and desperately in need of free help, so I started mowing, cleaning, pruning and we got to work all day to complete the whole house fence. The single mom appeared at the end of the video to thank us. Please let us know what

Remember that the gentleman here volunteered to do this without pay. That in itself makes them extraordinary. But...you also wouldn't have known about it if it had not been for their CZcams Channel. I like watching these because it's satisfying and motivating. These types of channels have given me ideas on what to do. I've solved many problems with how to do things I wouldn't have been capable of doing otherwise. 😌

So kind of you guys to do this volunteer work. Hope you get lots of sponsors to have better equipment to be sponsors. You need a sheet from home or tarp for waste so you don't have to lug the waste can so often. Good luck to you. I'd even join you if I lived near you. I stopped & spoke to a young man doing yard work with all the equipment and mentioned your (and others) efforts to help people, and he may take me up on that. I would say that you don't know her life's story either...be kinder and try to give her the benefit of the doubt. She may have lost her husband or whatever. She may have fallen on hard times. We all have and would appreciate some understanding.

Almost positive that this is Vietnam. First look at the vegetation... Banana trees, various and multiple palm trees, other tropical trees. Second look at the transportation: mostly scooters and bicycles. Third look at the size of the sidewalk and nature of it, made of pavers that are not sealed (not concrete). Fourth look at the streets: no street signs (stop, yield, or street name markers). Fifth, look at 0:25 mark, there is a hand painted sign with white paint on the curb which is hard to read but I think it says "chuyển đất anh đang" followed by an international number. Using Google translate it says "moving land he is" --- which basically means "property for sale" (if I'm guessing correctly). Clues that it not in the USA... car has driver position on the left side, speedometer is in KM, temperature gauge is in Celsius (see this in the 0:00 mark) and at the 1:41 mark you can see the foreign license plate on the front of the car and the driver getting out of the car.

Don't judge if you don't know the circumstances. We people are so quick to judge. Put all your sorrows and complaints on a table and compair with that of acquaintances or friends. You know what, you'll pull you're bundle silently back because theirs will most probably be worse than yours.

We never know until we walk in someone shoes. This is a storey about someone totally different but there was a single mom of 4 who had a very successful job for a large company. She had a massive house which she bought before her divorce. The house was partly to keep up with her job demands of company guest. Sadly she lost her job due to covid and with in months was living in a tent because it was hard trying to work enough part time jobs to make house payments. She had to lose everything before she could start over. We never know what's happened.
You would think right? But the circumstances, you never know. But if she can't afford, let it go. Down size. Freedom.
That's a WOW job. You two are awesome. The homeowner should be over the moon that overwhelming mess around her property is cleaned up and people are once again using it as a walkway.

Unless you know the circumstances of the ‘Single Mom’ the above comments could be out of place. At no point was the ‘Single Mom’ identified so it is only a guess as to who she is [the young woman may be a local]. Cleaning the overgrown area was good for the locals and a nice thing.
A great big thank you to both of you for clearing up that disgusting mess. To be able to live in a property that size costs money and there must be some about for her to stay there. It is true that the more money you have, the less you pay out.
Just how old is this mother and how old is the child/ children? Has she no friends nor family who can have fun having work parties clearing the garden/ footpath etc? It would have been pleasant to see her come out to thank you and share some time with you and being you a cuppa and a sandwich. I hope she now keeps it up to scratch and doesn't let it get so overgown again. Perhaps if she can't manage on her own she should sell up and get somewhere where sge could keep on top off.
I watch several of these videos and sppreciate the skill and kindnes of the workers, but at times I cannot help feeling there is something seriously wrong in this world that we cannot give time to help our neighbours out.

Until one walks in another's shoes, one shouldn't judge or critique. Thank you all your hard work. As a single mom, it's hard to make all the money cover all expenses. Yards are usually the first to take a back burner. Always thinking "I'll get it taken care next month". Only to have something else blind side you.
Wrong, 1/2 an hour here or there CAN make a difference. Unless you are severely disabled. My daughters friend is, as well as being an unstable diabetic, asthmatic and is often in hospital on intubation life support and uses a motorised wheelchair to get around. Her attitude is I may be disabled but I can still do it. She is amazing and puts me to shame.
Single parents get subsidies from the government so it is possible to afford some yard work.

After watching the first two minutes that's exactly what I thought. I'm guessing the single moms last name is either DuPont, Rockefeller or maybe even Kardashian.
We just never know. When I was a single mum of 3, I inherited my aunts huge home. I had to sell as I could not afford the upkeep. I bought a modest 3 bedroom home and the rest of the $ went to my childrens’ college funds. I wish I had had the funds to keep that house!
This isn’t in the US so property prices are not comparable.
