Usually people like those who they agree with and dislike those views who they disagree with. It is childish to expect unbiasedness from anyone, as no one is truly unbiased.
Naseer represents the views of many people in society, so biased or not, he has the right to his views & also many others agree with him.

Naseeruddin is very honest when, as an intellecual, he says "I am a lapsed Muslim". I admire his courage because lapse means expired, and what he means is that when a person grows intellectual, Islam is bound to expire within him or her.
Not to agree or disagree. It's your opinion...But I wish you correlate n research on Intellectual contributions and Islamic personalities...specifically 7th to 18th centuries. Yes presently Intellectual efforts declined due to internal clumsiness and external circumstances. Poor quality leadership.
Thank you @The Lallantop for sharing this conversation. Being a fan of Mr. Shah, I have learnt to appreciate his work as I have aged. My opinion of him as an actor evolved in the last 20 years, but now when I look back at his body of work, it is clear that he is a school in himself.

the only problem i believe was in casting Naseer sahab about the age... Akbar died at the age of 63... while Naseer sahab played the role of young/father Akbar... he was already 70+.. and it is clearly shown in his act... i hope he could actually behave a little different as a young Akbar...

Saurabh ji, this is the real fact of indian mentality and culture, which is consistent and uniform throughout India irrespective of any caste or religion. We are born and brought up with the same thought process and mindset beside certain differencesbut we are the same. Don't give any religion more importance than others while doing journalism.

Dileep kumar is one of the greatest actors of hindi cinema not indian cinema, only hindi cinema doesn't mean indian cinema, India mein hindi cinema ke alawa aur bhi hain.
I have never seen such an insightful communication that too with someone like Naseer Saab. He was always an enigma for me as I watched his movies in 70s and 80s on the big screen.
Hats off to Saurabh Dwivedi for not being intimidated in front of the outspoken actor.
