This was an amazing game to watch. Even if you are not a Magic Johnson fan, to see him retired for nearly 5 seasons, and to come back and have such an amazing 1st game is Unbelievable!

That fake on Sprewell, damn....
Almost got a triple double too lol
and knowing that I was there at that great moment, I still have the ticket for that game in the wonderful inglewood forum. "city the champions"
Imagine the Magic V Jordan epic drama that would have propelled Basketball even further if HIV had been more understood at the time?
I'm an Aussie. My team mates and I actually cried watching the news conference in '91
2 reasons. We thought he was gonna die soon. And we couldn't watch him play anymore.
All Star Game and comeback were the best things ever
Damn I dnt recall this moment for shit & I was 16. I thought magic retired in 91. I never recalled him coming back
It was only for part of a season but it was Magical!!!
@@ProHoopsDaily pun intended lol but yea I missed that
I was 16 also and I was glued to the TV LOL
That ball fake tho lol I remember this like yesterday
Ball fake, ohhhh baby! That's what they came to see! You bet.
HE WAS CLEARLY OUT OF SHAPE.
yet still almost had a triple double
A shame they made him retire in his prime. But they needed to create Jordan as the face of the league
Jordan was the face of the NBA the minute he stepped on the court don't get it twisted
God I wish we had known more about HIV in the early 90's... There is no reason whatsoever Magic should have ever had to quit, and this is a perfect example! The only reason we were deprived of this phenom was do to a stupid stigma! Damn shame...
They were scared to play defense on him
He should’ve wait when Kobe Bryant played
Too bad magic Johnson came back , he was out of shape
he lied to us all never had hiv
