This is an amazing tour, I like the long stretches of the ambient sounds of the plants, there are workers present but focused on the tasks. This takes me back decades to grade school when education was job "1", the great films, that's right, no video, shown in class were a great experience. It proved the value and importance of great principled cinema bringing to a classroom and the world, priceless information and knowledge. One film documentary that was predecessor to this video was "The Rouge", it told the story of the Ford River Rouge Complex, the oldest continuous operating auto production plant. It lacked, by design, any discernible dialog, just the ballet of industry expressed in technicolor pantomime, unforgettable.
I wish there was a preserved copy of "The Rouge", it would be great to share that with my children and their peers. The video copy on youtube is badly faded, missing portions and in need of restoration. Sadly, like so many thousands of short films, documentaries and popular cinema produced outside the Hollywood sphere, they are all probably gone, deteriorated into silver nitrate and celluloid dust, sad...

I've been working at a body shop for a bit now and extra tips I learned was if you're painting the door, it's better to take off the mirror and belt molding (the trim at the bottom of the window) for a better paint job in the end. The mirror can get in the way, and if you're unlucky, the clear coat could stick in that gap between the door and the belt molding.

I own a 2019 Odyssey that your plant built. Just finished a 4100 mile road trip in it with the family, and it has 20,000 miles on the clock. Great vehicle so far, with only one minor problem (drainage hose for sunroof wasn't connected properly, so it would leak in very heavy rain). Easy fix at the dealership.
After 20,000 miles, there are no squeaks or rattles anywhere. Electrics are perfectly reliable. Transmission is smooth and predictable, engine has enough power. Seats are really really nice. This car has been driven in all weather conditions, from running snow tires in winter in Colorado to 100+F temps in summer.
So congrats on producing a great product! I know the engine is produced in AL as well, and the transmission is US made.
To the people who think Hondas aren't American enough, according to the AALA (American Automobile Labeling Act), the Honda Odyssey, Ridgeline, Pilot, and Passport all tie for 5th for the cars with the most American content at the current time.
I considered a Pacifica, but the Chrysler reputation for cheaping out on some internal parts turned me off. I know this is changing, and in a few more years I'd probably consider Chrysler products more strongly if the reputation keeps improving.

To the haters of these Asian vehicle plants, think about the jobs created, not only by the specific automotive manufacturers, but also the thousands of jobs produced through suppliers and vendor plants as well as the money injected into local economies that creates more jobs in other places like restaurants, grocery stores, housing, and a host of other industries. So, think before you condemn.

I am surprised they aren't making the 5.21 liter 318 cui engines as a mid grade performance engine option for the types of vehicles, besides the Dodge Vipers. Maybe the manufactures will give a small black V8 option like 318 cui once again in a fuel injected version. Also if dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, and RAM add the transmission cooler line filter on the outside of the transmission it would make transmission fluid and filter changes easier even though the primary filter wouldn't be as easy to get to I think the secondary(cooler line filter ) is the one that needs change during service intervals more so than the primary (flat screen filter).

I watch all American assembly plants of Auto mobile. I think they all are doing a great job of building the vehicles . It's when the vehicle is sold to the customers is were the problem start is how the vehicle is taken care of . If you want the vehicle to last you change oil at 4000 miles not 7000/10.000 or 15.000.which some oil and Automobiles manufacturers requirements. Service you transmission no longer then 50.000 miles not 100.000 miles and wash the salt off the painted and the underneath in the northern states. Remember the engineers are not paying for repairing your vehicles after the warranty are off .
