I have seen this bag so many times advertised to me on Instagram I'm really glad you decided to do this review. I was never really sure how much it was worth looking at or was just a gimmick. I think it really could work for some people. But after seeing you play with it I think I'll skip it, but really intriguing ideas. I just love seeing innovative stuff on a bag
I was the same, but just got it and is a game changer. First of all, the quality of the material is superb and big different than most backpacks. Hard to explain. The internal organizer is FANTASTIC. I have no clue how this guy pack his stuffs, game changer for me. I also find the front pockets very comfy. I usually arrive to a place, unpack in literally 1 second (by removing the clothes organizer and front pocket) and I am ready to go with a for-the-day backpack.
I love it, this kind 1 week back pack travel. In my opinion the external clip on bag is amazing for Bath items with special plastic small bottles for airport regulations. The shoe compartment is a good idea.

Sadly one of the little plastic nobs where you attach the toiletry got lost during a flight.. now i can't really use it as i intended to do and the customer service doesnt help. So i would say the backpack itself is great, but if you have an issue like myself, it is not really possible to get help. Customer Service ispretty shitty and there are no spare parts that you can buy, no repair service. This would not happen with other brands, especially not with a price that high
I got this bag and the bag itself is really cool, and the different entry points are functional as are the cool little pockets and features, but as he said, its a shoe company and they 100% did not know how to attach the backpack straps correctly. The load lifter straps did not function at all, and I had to pay to get the straps taken off and re-attached lower and wider apart so that they would not be floating halfway up my neck as I wore the pack, and I could have functioning load lifter straps. Also, because of the improper insertion point of the straps, I was getting pressure sores on my clavicles and burns from rubbing at my neck. I wear a backpack everyday for outdoor work so this isn't a case of me just not knowing how to wear a backpack or not packing it well. I packed different bags with the same contents and did not get sores and bruises. After paying to alter the pack, I had to rip open the straps and add polyfill to them to make them softer and stop bruising me. Customer service is beyond unhelpful (as others have mentioned). I'm adding this review because I never have seen anyone else mention the same things, and my review for the pack does not appear on the tropicfeel site (which means they are probably hiding all unflattering opinions)

Other expandable backpacks I've seen the straps actually lengthen to accommodate the expansion. This didn't look like it does that. Could you clarify? BTW have you tried their shoes? I gathered from what you said you've not reviewed but do you have thoughts?
My husband and I are getting into one bag travel, and this was the one we got, at the early bird Kickstarter price. We didn't fuss with front attachment accessories. First post-vaccine trip planned for next month 🙌
I think it might have a lot of potential for car camping but if stuff does tend to fall out of the 'wardrobe' like he says then maybe not. Maybe you could let us all know how you find it? I'd be interested for sure.

Really love this bag. Packed for an 8 day trip. 4 states in 7 days. Flew there and flew back. I didn’t use the bottom for shoes because I just use a shoe bag for my shoes. I use packing cubes and it was amazing to use them. Great purchase I made during quarantine.
Is there anywhere to get a small standalone wardrobe organizer like that one? I’m looking for something smaller than a Stow N Go that would fit into a Peak Design Travel Backpack with room to spare.
So I have a question, and it's something I started to think about once you mentioned pickpockets. How easy is that front pouch to take off the bag once it's clipped on? Could someone walk up behind me and lift it off the bag without me noticing, or is it secured on with clips or something of the sort?

the built in dividers in the hanging shelves is what sells me on it. Love small compartments. Does need zipper doors though
