You're able to immediately activate ignition effects on a monsters summon. So if you summon lonefire you can immediately activate it's effect in response to the summon.
@@MetalGearPapiOkay so I was doing research into this, and it was kinda confusing haha. Do you have to call it to let them know you’re activating its effect before they use Bottomless? And he was still able to use bottomless despite brionac’s effect being used because it responds to a summon, whereas if it had been royal oppression he wouldn’t be able to use Brio’s effect because it’s negating a summon right?
@@nissanfreak22 Royal oppression negates the summon so he wouldn't be able to call priority because it never hit the field. But yeah on summon turn player can declare priority and use your effect. Then the other player can response with bottomless/Torrential. That's why as the opposing player you wanna ask your opponent "are you using priority" because if not then you can bottomless freely.
