My first build: Three 30x30 squares stacked on top of each other with no interior walls
Oh yes! I did the almost same! My house had interior walls, but it has only one floor. I was a terrible builder back then.
Bro I didn't know you could make the roofs smaller so my big ass houses just had roofs that stretched endlessly into the sky... what a time
My first house were 4 50×50 squares stacked on top of each other. With literally the water floor tiles in every room. And it wasn't even fully furnished!
I used to do HUGE builds with HUGE rooms, 2 story, barely furnished (if furnished at all), no windows, horrible colours mashed together and basegame
Ha. My first build didn't have walls, only Tiles and furniture. To be far, it was The Sims and the house did burn down.

Damn 5 years. I’m in 9th grade now and I’ve been watching since 5th grade. I remember loving your first get together let’s play and mostly ghostly. I especially loved fixer upper and the 100 baby challenge. I remember just laying on the ground in my living room during winter break with our Christmas tree up and just sitting there mesmerized by your building. You definitely started my spark for the love of sims.

I was happy to see you use angled walls upstairs in this reno. The apartment I live in is an open floor plan without any hallways at all because of angled walls and I love love love it.
The movers were so jazzed because they didn't have to do those weird twist & scoot moves from a hallway thru a door to get my gigantic furniture into the back half of the apartment.
Plus it's easier to keep clean; fewer corners to freak out my robovac.

omg This is so much better than my houses at eleven, they were basically big rooms with bathrooms and a bigger than-needed kitchen! It was more or less so my sims could have everything they wanted, lol, little kid me logic.
I'm now eighteen and finding my housebuilding skills are a little better than what i did back then, however, they are still nowhere near as good as lilsimsie's houses, nor will they ever be.
day 2 of my build challenge idea: take 3 challenges and put em together (one colour, budget, ea restrictions, etc)

Back then I was soo much more into the Sims 3, cause I loved the open world and everything awesome about it. I was about to turn 30 years 😪. Thanks for teaching me how to properly play with this, and for making the world better!
Kayla, I just wanted to thank you because thanks to all of your tutorials and tips, my building skills in the sims have really improved. Thanks to you, now I feel more comfortable sharing my builds in the gallery and you also inspired me to start my own speed builds channel. I’m 16 y/o and seeing how far you’ve come since you were 16 really inspires me to keep going. I just opened my channel a few days ago but hopefully one day I will be as good as you. Thank you for all the motivation and keep up with the good work
